Most nail salons have a few shelves full of Essie and OPI polishes in mostly neutrals, clears, pinks and red colors, but Wheatley Nail & Beauty has even more brands and colors to choose from. Both times I've been, I've picked Zoya colors which always feels like a treat since Zoya isn't typically offered at other salons. I've also found that compared to the treatments that are included in other nail salon's pedicure packages, Wheatley Nail & Beauty includes a lot more for the price of a standard pedicure. For example, even in their most basic pedicure, they give your legs a short hot stone massage and soak your heels in paraffin wax. Depending on where you go, either of those services can sometimes cost a little extra. While the mani/pedis are a little bit more expensive than what you would find elsewhere (a regular manicure and pedicure will run you $45 total), I think they are absolutely worth it. Both manicures I've gotten went a whole week before they started to chip. I don't know if this is due to the Zoya nail polish, or the expertise demonstrated by the nail technicians, but I'm inclined to think it's the latter. I would love to give this place 5 stars, but the most recent time I went, I had trouble using a gift card I had received. I know for a fact that I had not used it yet, and there should have been more than enough money to cover both a manicure and a pedicure. But when they went to redeem it, they told me that there was no money left on it. Usually, when a business has a system where gift card information is stored electronically, they are able to swipe the card and recall its transaction history. This was not the case here. I was offered very little explanation as for why the card was not working other than "There's no money left."
