Bob's Bacon and Avocado Breakfast Sandwich

This café is a family favorite, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but with easy access to IL-59. The food is healthy yet delicious, prepared and presented well. Lots of choices for breakfast and lunch. Coffees and smoothies are better than any other local café I know. My grandson and I ordered Avocado Toast (for him) and Veggie Quiche (for me) and both orders came in rectangular paper bowls with red seedless grapes, green apple slices, cantaloupe chunks. Calm, piped-in music, open fire pizza oven, sofas and arm chairs in one corner, make it a pleasant place to hang out, as well as be fed!

Normally I won't put delicious and healthy food together. But I am wrong about this cafe. Not a fancy but it is a solid place to visit. Also love the kitchen model made by one of their worker.

Service is always great! Staff is Very friendly and the food is delicious! My go to is the Chicken Salad on a Gluten-Free wrap with a side of soup and a Tropical Rush smoothie! Nice place to answer some emails or meet a friend for a smoothie!

A friend and I stopped in for lunch. There's a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, smoothies, not to mention pizzas (check out their oven!) on the menu. I ultimately went with the Roaster (roast chicken breast, mozzarella, red bell peppers and pesto); if I hadn't noticed that it came with chips, the kid at the register didn't seem to know/remember that it did. My friend really liked her berry smoothie. A nice local spot, also featuring local art! Check it out for brunch or lunch.

Friendly service, nice variety to choose from, plentiful servings, & tasty grub! My gf & I both got the mix & match- 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad. It's a little out of the way for me but worth the visit.

The grandkids shared a pepperoni pizza and a cheese pizza. The pepperoni went first, they took the rest home in a plain cardboard pizza box.

Our granddaughters, one has Celiac, were in Naperville with their parents for a LEGO competition. It was after a normal lunch time but with planning my daughter in-law found this wonderful food place. Their family is gluten free and have adjusted, but it's difficult to find a safe quality gluten free restaurant. They met and exceeded our expectations. They have a gluten free kitchen and menu. Pizza, sandwiches, soup, smoothies and frozen yogurt too. (Missed that photo) Four adults and three kids are well for less than $10 each. Order from their chalkboard menu or online for pickup or eat in. We easily found a table for all seven and shortly after they brought our food to our table. OH, the soups, I had vegetable soup and my wife had mushroom. both were excellent full of all the stuff you'd expect in a homemade soup and full of flavor. Another OH, they have cookies from Sweet Ali's gluten free bakery. The kids have had these before and we're delighted to actually pick their own from the rack. Their menu shows breakfast too only in the early hours, but the rest of their menu is available until they close at 7:00 pm. You have to stop here to eat in or to go if you're in Naperville. We'll be back for sure.

Delicious sandwich and soup combo. The service was great and quick. Looking forward to heading back to try a drink and breakfast option. Worth mentioning the pickle was so good!

Loved our brunch here! We got an omelette and and egg sandwich and it was delicious. The portions are large for a great price.

I came in for the first time, wanting healthy food. I tried the roaster sandwich, it was AMAZING. Great food! Want to try other items now.

Great veggie burger. I get it almost every visit. Mango cranberry smoothie is worth the money too. Keep up the good work.

I always try to stop by when I'm in the area. The food is always super fresh and really tasty. I would recommend the portobello sandwich.

$9 for a grilled cheese. Bread. Cheese. Rip off. Also horrible customer service. I said excuse me to a staff member and she actually ran.

Do they sell vegan cookies/ cakes or any other vegan treats?

They offer gluten free and 'vegan friendly' but since we don't need this, I'm not sure just what is is specifically offered. Really great about letting you personalize, though.…

In light of Rosh Hashanah, we were looking for Jewish places to eat and came across Schmaltz Deli…read more We never knew there was a Jewish deli in the area and boy were we missing out. As soon as we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great experience. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor tables available as well as a traditional deli counter. They also have a drive thru! You can choose to order at the counter or be seated with a more traditional restaurant-like service. Our waiter was young but very professional and provided great recommendations. To start, they bring a complimentary bowl of bagel chips (a unique twist and a great way to repurpose old bagels). For my meal, I had a half American sandwich with a bowl of matzo ball soup. It was simple but delicious. On our way out, we stopped at the deli and ordered a few rugelach. They tasted so fresh! My favorite was the apricot flavor. Definitely hope to be back real soon to support such a great spot! Shana Tova!

3.5 stars, but rounded up because I didn't feel they deserved any deduction…read more I was REALLY looking forward to their #20 Old New Yorker, which I got in their Navel Cut pastrami. It was a solid 7, which is why I place it at 3.5 stars. I may be being picky here but it just wasn't to the level of "melt-in-your-mouth" pastrami standards for me. Not to say it wasn't good, because it was perfectly fine. In fact, it's better than most of the pastrami sandwiches I tried in Chicagoland. Maybe it's the fact that I had to bring it back to the office to eat it, and half hour had gone by and pastrami weren't as warm and the Jewish rye had become soggy by the time I took the first bite. I mean, it goes without saying that the sandwich would have been 3 times better had I sat down immediately and had it. Again, all things considered, it was a perfectly good sandwich. One interesting thing was that I had never been to an establishment that included a half sour pickle instead of a normal one and gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Pickles can be a hit or a miss for me. I like my pickles to be crunch, but some places offer overripened ones that become borderline mushy. Schmaltz's half sour pickle was not overly salty or sour, making it very attractive for me. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm convinced that I'll have to go back and try their #14 Sloppy Paul, which is the corned beef with sauerkraut, which is another favorite of mine. And this time, I'll be sure to dine in and give another review of it to see how much I like them better.
