Bob's Bacon and Avocado Breakfast Sandwich

This café is a family favorite, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, but with easy access to IL-59. The food is healthy yet delicious, prepared and presented well. Lots of choices for breakfast and lunch. Coffees and smoothies are better than any other local café I know. My grandson and I ordered Avocado Toast (for him) and Veggie Quiche (for me) and both orders came in rectangular paper bowls with red seedless grapes, green apple slices, cantaloupe chunks. Calm, piped-in music, open fire pizza oven, sofas and arm chairs in one corner, make it a pleasant place to hang out, as well as be fed!

Normally I won't put delicious and healthy food together. But I am wrong about this cafe. Not a fancy but it is a solid place to visit. Also love the kitchen model made by one of their worker.

Service is always great! Staff is Very friendly and the food is delicious! My go to is the Chicken Salad on a Gluten-Free wrap with a side of soup and a Tropical Rush smoothie! Nice place to answer some emails or meet a friend for a smoothie!

A friend and I stopped in for lunch. There's a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, smoothies, not to mention pizzas (check out their oven!) on the menu. I ultimately went with the Roaster (roast chicken breast, mozzarella, red bell peppers and pesto); if I hadn't noticed that it came with chips, the kid at the register didn't seem to know/remember that it did. My friend really liked her berry smoothie. A nice local spot, also featuring local art! Check it out for brunch or lunch.

Friendly service, nice variety to choose from, plentiful servings, & tasty grub! My gf & I both got the mix & match- 1/2 sandwich, 1/2 salad. It's a little out of the way for me but worth the visit.

The grandkids shared a pepperoni pizza and a cheese pizza. The pepperoni went first, they took the rest home in a plain cardboard pizza box.

Our granddaughters, one has Celiac, were in Naperville with their parents for a LEGO competition. It was after a normal lunch time but with planning my daughter in-law found this wonderful food place. Their family is gluten free and have adjusted, but it's difficult to find a safe quality gluten free restaurant. They met and exceeded our expectations. They have a gluten free kitchen and menu. Pizza, sandwiches, soup, smoothies and frozen yogurt too. (Missed that photo) Four adults and three kids are well for less than $10 each. Order from their chalkboard menu or online for pickup or eat in. We easily found a table for all seven and shortly after they brought our food to our table. OH, the soups, I had vegetable soup and my wife had mushroom. both were excellent full of all the stuff you'd expect in a homemade soup and full of flavor. Another OH, they have cookies from Sweet Ali's gluten free bakery. The kids have had these before and we're delighted to actually pick their own from the rack. Their menu shows breakfast too only in the early hours, but the rest of their menu is available until they close at 7:00 pm. You have to stop here to eat in or to go if you're in Naperville. We'll be back for sure.

Delicious sandwich and soup combo. The service was great and quick. Looking forward to heading back to try a drink and breakfast option. Worth mentioning the pickle was so good!

Do they sell vegan cookies/ cakes or any other vegan treats?

They offer gluten free and 'vegan friendly' but since we don't need this, I'm not sure just what is is specifically offered. Really great about letting you personalize, though.…

However, when I asked for a water refill or a new plate, he got it. I would say average but not above average service. We ordered dragon fries, baked ziti, and supreme pizza with the caramelized crust. Overall this is like a 3. 3 for me is a one and done. I wanted to try a new pizza place but this was a disappointment. -dragon fries 5 - this was good. The sauce is tangy with some spice. It's not super spicy but this would go well on wings. -baked ziti 2 - I had a lot of pasta and this one was one of the worst. The noodles tasted a bit too rubbery, it should be softer. The sauce had no flavor. -supreme pizza 3 - maybe I should have gotten the tavern style because the supercharged pizza tasted doughy and kind of bland. I even reheated it on my pizza stone at home and it does taste better with a crispier crust. However, it was still mid.

While serving a martinis at the table, our server had an accident. The shaker lid came off and the blue martini spilled all over my wife, soaking her top and skirt. Our night out was ruined. We had to go home and wash her clothes in hope that it didn't stain. At the end of meal, the bill came and they comped her drink. So compensation for getting get a blue martini dumped all over you is brushed off with a single drink. I buy people at bars a drink for any reason. I asked the host about it and he said we didn't ask for anything more so... We are not people who are out fishing for free meals, but because we didn't beg for anything, the host evidently felt he was off the hook for trying to make it right. Ouch. I've had some really great arancini before, and these were alright. The sauce was the highlight, with a nice flavor and a slight kick to it. We were told the pizzas were personal-sized, so everyone in our group ordered their own. When they arrived, they were huge. I went with the Fredo, a more traditional-style pizza, and it was pretty solid with good toppings and flavor. Others at the table ordered the Detroit-style pizzas, and they looked incredible, I wish I had taken some photos. The general consensus was that the pizzas were a bit too bready, but they had good flavor, great presentation, and a nice crispy crust. Service was okay. It took a while for our server to take our order, and I wish we had been advised to share a few pizzas instead of ordering individually. We all ended up taking most of our pizzas to go, but with dinners planned throughout the rest of the trip, they unfortunately didn't get eaten later. Overall, a decent spot with solid pizza and generous portions.

In the ongoing saga of trying to find a restaurant that works for all three of us: my vegan wife,…read moreme (a very NOT vegan) and our picky 8-year old, tonight's episode took place at Fiammé in downtown Naperville. Its very hard to find spots that can accommodate our very particular palates, and even more hard to find good vegan options outside of the city. Thats why I was excited to find this lovely Italian restaurant. The parking lot is small but there's a good amount of sidestreet parking. The inside is warm, cozy and super clean (including the restrooms ). The hospitality stood out right away. The owners and wait staff were very welcoming, and our server was fantastic; honest (which I appreciate), knew the menu well, and once she realized our situation, gave us some wonderful direction on what to order. I wouldn't say that the menu is overwhelming, but I rarely go to a restaurant where it takes me that long to decide what I want. There are lots of interesting options, from braised short rib ravioli to baked ziti, and several tasty appetizers (highly recommend the calamari). But we had come for the PIZZA. My daughter got the kids cheese pizza. It was surprisingly bigger than we thought, and at a great price. The kid only ate half before she said, "I like it...this might be better than [insert famous Chicago pizza brand]." (you MUST KNOW that this is high praise from a 3rd grader). My wife ordered the "They Don't Have Beef With Me" vegan Detroit-style pizza, and I have to admit, it was very good. Somehow they pulled off a buttery (but not butter) crust with melty vegan cheese (but NOT cheese ). Absolutely nailed it. I would have eaten more of hers if I hadn't ordered the Butcher pizza from the wood-fired menu. It was OUTSTANDING. Great flavor, perfect texture. Easily one of thee best wood-fired pizzas I've ever had. We're not drinkers, but they do have a good wine list and some nice zero-proof options, including the Amber Apple and The Drip. We didn't make it to dessert, mostly because the portions are generous, so our bellies (and our to-go boxes) were full. We will definitely be back to try other menu options and for dessert. If your family or friend group includes picky palates or dietary restrictions (the pizzas can be made gluten-free as well), then run...don't walk...to Fiammé. 100/10 recommend.
