Checked out this kind of hidden cafe. It certainly is one of the not as known places in Naperville. Nature's Best Cafe is kind of hidden amongst strip malls and offices. A lot of healthy and great tasting food for those who find it. The prices aren't that bad for this kind of stuff. Basic looking cafe with a good size seating area. It's actually bigger than it looks. The menu may not be that big but it still has plenty of choices for various diets and preferences. All of it's freshly made. It's about $7 for a smoothie. Got the colorful one called the Green Machine. This is made with almond milk, bananas, ginger, and spinach. It's about $9 for a salad, pretty big ones. Last time I got the Southwestern Salad. This has avocados, black beans, cilantro, corn, and salsa, and comes with a chipotle vinaigrette. Among the other options are pizzas if you can believe it. They make these a lot healthier with not as much junk on top. Great food that's full of flavor. It's closed Sundays. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians. read more

A friend and I stopped in for lunch. There's a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, smoothies, not to mention pizzas (check out their oven!) on the menu. I ultimately went with the Roaster (roast chicken breast, mozzarella, red bell peppers and pesto); if I hadn't noticed that it came with chips, the kid at the register didn't seem to know/remember that it did. My mom heard about this place from social media so we decided to check it out. It's a bit tucked away so you may not know about it if you didn't have a reason to drive past, but it's well worth the visit. The chicken salad was very good, not too full of stuff and confusing flavors. Their TAG sandwich (Turkey, Apple, Gouda) was fantastic and the only complaint I have it there wasn't more of it! If it wasn't hot out we would have also tried the soup instead of getting chips since they appear to make their soups in house and rotate daily. The prices are a bit on the high side for the amount of food, but it's also freshly made to order and high quality, the place is clean, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Our granddaughters, one has Celiac, were in Naperville with their parents for a LEGO competition. It was after a normal lunch time but with planning my daughter in-law found this wonderful food place. Their family is gluten free and have adjusted, but it's difficult to find a safe quality gluten free restaurant. They met and exceeded our expectations. They have a gluten free kitchen and menu. Pizza, sandwiches, soup, smoothies and frozen yogurt too. (Missed that photo) Four adults and three kids are well for less than $10 each. Order from their chalkboard menu or online for pickup or eat in. We easily found a table for all seven and shortly after they brought our food to our table. OH, the soups, I had vegetable soup and my wife had mushroom. both were excellent full of all the stuff you'd expect in a homemade soup and full of flavor. Another OH, they have cookies from Sweet Ali's gluten free bakery. The kids have had these before and we're delighted to actually pick their own from the rack. Their menu shows breakfast too only in the early hours, but the rest of their menu is available until they close at 7:00 pm. You have to stop here to eat in or to go if you're in Naperville. I went out to Naperville on a business related issue and decided to grab a bite to eat. I found Natures Best Cafe within 1/2 mile of my meeting location. They have a very clean large dining area w/very friendly order taker and the people cooking my food. The prices are very reasonable. The ingredients were very fresh. I ordered an Omelet that was loaded w/mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, red peppers, onions & Gouda cheese for $7.00. It was a decent omelet, but give me my skillet with eggs, sausage, bacon & cheese (good old artery heart stopping food) (a bit suicidal, but I needs me bacon, sausage and potatoes). The omelet also came w/fresh fruit cantaloupe, grapes & green apple slices & 1 slice of toast. What a nice spot in Naperville, not to far from the route 59. We came on a Saturday afternoon and the place wasn't too busy. Its a great spot to have a bite or snack and read or do some homework. They have this big stone oven that they use to cook pizzas and salmon on. I had a pick two: the mango salad and clam chowder. I asked for no goat cheese but they didn't listen. Not in the mood, so I ate it anyway good dressing and fresh salad. The clam chowder was no where near creamy but watered down and the server that delivered the food did know what soup it was while asking if I got the right one. To drink I had Apples, Beets, and Carrots with ginger (ABC juice) it was refreshing, but I wished it had crushed ice. My girlfriend had chopped salad and cappuccino. The portions were just the right size and she said it was filling and great. Overall, not a bad experience but please educate staff on what's what. read more

Did a pick up of salad and turkey chili. Both item were ready within minutes. Cashier was great. The salad was filled with all fresh ingredients, something you don't see at most places now days. The Turkey chili was hot and tasted great, and came with a giant piece of cornbread, that wasn't listed on the menu. So that was a nice surprised when I got home. Small neighborhood cafe with great coffee and good eats! I'm still new to this place but I've gotten a few things on the menu and was very pleased. They also serve 'I Have A Bean' coffee which is a favorite of mine and it beats going to Starbucks for a foofoo drink 3 times a week! Family feel when you walk in, the owner is a nice gentleman that will give you smoothie samples if you come in at the right time. (Get the daily detox and add spinach!!) The store interior isn't fancy or aesthetic but that's not why I come here and if that's what you want you can go downtown-wherever for that :) but they do sell local artwork which is cute! Ordered takeout from Natures best for a quick lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. They were quite busy for a weekday afternoon, but I was happy to see it. We ordered the Chicken salad sandwich on gluten free bread, and the Roaster sandwich. Both succeeded our expectations.
