[Late post review] If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would've!!! Kathy and Sherilee are absolutely wonderful!!! So helpful in any possible way, they gave awesome recommendations and because of that we were able to see the Fire Fall :D which we had no idea it was happening that same weekend! It's a must see natural event by the way thanks ladies!! And I must add, you make scrumptious breakfast, perfect portions for a hike at Yosemite, also I'm a cat person so the kitties added that extra cuteness, once again thank you for your generous hospitality and I will book another weekend in the future! I realize about 99.9% of the people who stay here go to Yosemite as their destination. Our Bunko group uses this Inn as our destination. Once here, I do NOT want to leave! If you need to get away for a couple of days... THIS IS THE PLACE! How often do you have time to read a book, make a puzzle, or play a game? There is nothing but time and beautiful nature to just relax. It was so quiet that I never heard a car. The weather was perfect; rained one day so it was cozy to make a puzzle and drink hot chocolate and was sunny the next day which was perfect weather to be outside reading a book on the huge swing! The owners are the NICEST PEOPLE! They are usually booked so plan WAY in advance.

The hospitality here is exceptional! From our check in to check out, Sherilee was great. Upon check in she came over with a destination map and pointed out some hikes that were best for the time of year at Yosemite. We wanted to get an early start to the next day, which meant missing the hot breakfast, so she just gave us the continental breakfast the night before so we don't go without it (two muffins and a granola bar.) The next two days we did get to eat breakfast, and it was delicious; Sherilee and her mom make a great team in the kitchen. Cheese souffle the first day and baked raspberry Pancake the next. We spent a while talking to her over breakfast and it felt like she was there with us instead of being the host. Also, the best part -there's cats roaming the property available to be pet at any time of the day you catch them outside! This is the perfect place for cat lovers. The location wasn't ideal when going to Yosemite, but unless you're staying in the park or right at the entrance you're not going to find anything much closer for a reasonable price. I found that the place could be a little cleaner too. I went to hang up my towel on the bathroom door and it was gross in the depressed areas, filled with gunk. Good thing I had my lysol wipes, I cleaned the door, for myself and the next person. Everything else seemed decent. I'm also overly clean so typical standards of clean are not the same as my standards, but the door was a different story, definitely gross. The whole inn was really cozy as well. The lobby felt like somebody's living room, and the patio outside was nice as well. The pool is small but enough to get some laps in since there's not too many guests staying at the same time. I had the pool to myself most days, same with the hot tub. Overall a great place, don't hesitate to book!

This is one of the best B&B stay that I ever experienced. We stayed here for four nights not expecting anything. I saw the cleanliness and the distance of the place from Yosemite so we decided to book this place. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Sherilee. She was so nice and welcoming, always trying to help us, giving us maps and suggestions on where to go. I cannot remember having met someone who is truly warm and hospitable. Her food was amazingly delicious. It kept us full all day long as we did our activities at the park. I love her freshly baked banana muffins. We used the bbq grill and the jacuzzi, it was refreshing after a whole day of hiking. All in all, it was a great experience. Thank you Sherille and Kathy for looking after your guests. The experience will truly keep your guests coming back. Cheers!

We liked this place so much we came back !! First stayed in March and then after Yosemite reopened, we figured why not come back !? Sherilee is a warm , helpful, welcoming host. We truly felt right at home during both of our stays. Our room- Clouds Rest- is a perfect size, with a large bathroom and lovely deck overlooking the hills. Everything is quite clean and cozy with every small detail taken care of. Breakfast is always hearty, delicious and will fill up your heart and your belly. They'll accommodate special dietary needs too ! 1000% would recommend !!

This place has five stars for a reason! This was my first time at a bed & breakfast and it exceeded my expectations. Natures Inn is clean, cozy, and the breakfast was delicious! Such great hospitality. Next time I visit Yosemite, I will definitely be staying here again.

This was my first bed and breakfast stay and I was very pleased. The Inn was very charming and warm. The hosts were super friendly. The grounds were immaculately groomed. Our cottage, El Captain, was sparkly clean with everything one can possibly need with super comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was always filling and so delicious. This is definitely a place I would stay again.

Stayed here near Memorial Day and it was so amazing! The location is great, didn't take too long to get into Yosemite Valley, and the breakfast was just incredible! Stayed two nights and had croissant french toast and this delicious egg souffle. Fresh fruit, homemade muffins, and coffee. The rooms were great and there was an outdoor jacuzzi too! Would definitely recommend staying here and I'll be back next time I'm coming to Yosemite!

I found this bed and breakfast on Expedia and is hands down my favorite place I've ever stayed. The b&b itself is absolutely adorable. The rooms are cute and the amenities are great. It is close to town and is an easy place to stay if traveling to Yosemite. The owners really make this place above and beyond! We were greeted by the friendliest person I've ever met. She showed us around the area and even gave us tips for hiking Yosemite. The breakfasts in the morning were home cooked and amazingly good. She even took into consideration dietary preferences. I had a gluten free breakfast and she made me what everyone else had! It was so nice to be able to eat muffins and french toast along with everyone else! I was so sad to check out. I wish I would have stayed longer! Highly recommend this place!

There was sights of deers, butterflies, and many other creatures to see. The balcony also had comfy rocking chairs which gives a homey feeling. For breakfast there was only a bagel or pastry nothing else. If you're driving there are many restaurants and food places in the towns an hour before B&B inn, but after passing Oakhurst town there will be far drives to be able to go to marts or other food places.

The room we had was the Mariposa room and it was beautiful and large! We were amazed as everything looked clean and there were 2 bathrooms(one had the shower and the other had the toilet). Please make sure to read ALL of the rules that are in BOTH bathrooms that are hanging on the wall(one of them is right near the toilet and the other is in the other bathroom near the hair dryer). Pamela had also greeted us and told us about the continental breakfast and that you are to eat it in your own room. She would later enter your room when you are not there to pick up the dishes. She was also helpful with any questions in regards to what to visit in Yosemite. We loved our private balcony and the view of the stream flowing by. Pamela surprised us by hauling up some rocking sitting chairs on the last night of our stay onto the balcony. We enjoyed that very much and the peacefulness. We also enjoyed the fridge in the room but also wished there was a freezer as well as we had brought our own ice packs. Cons: As much as we did not mind Pamela coming into our room to get the breakfast dishes while we were gone, we did notice a few things that felt odd. First, she took our used shower towels that was hanging on the inside of the horseshoe rack and rehung it on top of the horseshoe rack holder. She even took out the squishy non-slip padding in the shower and rehung it. She made our beds(though we could of sworn that one of the rules was that there was NOT going to be any room cleaning, etc. She took some of our other towels that we had used and replaced it with others(which was fine). BUT, she THREW AWAY my small styrofoam cup that I had left nicely on the sink counter. I had brought it from home and had used it to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. Who does that?? Who throws away someone else's things? I was very upset and it kind of made our stay there less enjoyable knowing that someone had gone through your stuff. Overall, it is a nice place to stay with a nice room and view but think about items that belong to you and what things you wouldn't want anyone to touch or throw away. We also suggest you bring your own food as there isn't really a place to eat at except for a place slightly down the street that sells sandwiches(it was good) or at the expensive restaurant at the hotel down the street. If you don't bring your own food, you would need to drive ALL the way back down the windy road into town.

As this was a weeknight stop on our California road trip, I still needed internet access for my job. We stayed in the Country Rose room, and while the bedroom was small, the bathroom was spacious, and this was all we needed for one night. We ended up stopping for dinner before arriving, which pushed back our check-in later than I had initially thought. The host was great with quick responses to my updates! We were advised on where to find our entry info & had no problems. Though it was only around 9pm when we arrived, we didn't see anyone that night. Our room was in the back, through the house with a separate entrance from the deck. Just outside of our door was a patio table with a couple of chairs; this is where I did my work that night, under the stars, and also the next morning. Internet was fine there & I enjoyed working outdoors in mid-May. The bedroom itself was small & rather stuffy, but we opened the windows because they had screens, and we were comfortable all night. My only gripe about our room was a lack of pillows, as we only had one for each of us. But, since it was late, I made zero effort to see if any extras were available in the main house. Our in-suite bathroom was huge & included a mini-fridge. The shower was in a ginormous garden tub with an awkward climb-in entry, but served its purpose. We had been provided plenty of towels, as well as a hair dryer. The next morning, we were able to better appreciate our surroundings. The deck was elevated & spanned the entire back of the house, with several seating areas in addition to the one outside of our room. Down the steps was a pool (though closed), and a small landscaped yard. We could see the mountains from the deck, and wildlife including wild turkeys ran through the yard. We also enjoyed a huge freshly-made breakfast that morning. I wish I remembered her name, but the cook was very friendly & helpful with local tips. The inside dining table was large, and we were able to meet some of the other guests while we dined on the spread of varied breakfast items. The location was indeed perfect for visiting Yosemite, but this area seemed to also offer a lot more to do & see outside of the park. Lack of time aside, our one-night stay at A Bed of Roses in mid-May 2022 was great, and I'd definitely stay here again.

On the last day of our trip the YART busses didn't show up for our trip back & Ron rescued us from the park late at night (we were literally stranded in Yosemite). The town of Oakhurst is my favorite as it offers great amenities that are the closest to the best entrance to Yosemite in my opinion. Lets start with the food. This is one of the best culinary experiences I have had and it is consistently good. The three course or five course dining service is stellar. These chefs are some of the best in the world and Ive been all over the world. The leadership of Erica is not to be surpassed. She has an incredible calm spirit with a smiling happy crew that provides top notch service with warmth and class. The bartender Jordan is a delight with his great smile and kind eyes. The food experience made me feel like I was being nourished from the inside out not just with nutrition but with love and flavor that was new and revitalizing. This was my first stay at the Chateau Sureau. Oh my heart. I feel that I was healed and restored from a level of stress I dont think I realized I was carrying from our busy crazy noisy world at home. The property is exquisite with old world charm and the perfect patina of age that makes you feel you are in the old country of Paris or Austria or England. The landscape is stunning and it was raining so the fireplaces were roaring and the pines were glistening with silver drops backlit by an incredible sunset. The breakfast service is top notch and the staff is incredibly attentive. You know its good when you know each others names. Thanks to Lorenzo, Sienna, Logan, Jissel and Lori for incredible Chalet guest service. Then, there is the spa. I just had to go since I was feeling like my life was coming back to my ownership again. The Spa is gorgeous. The spa. director Way has been on this property for 20 years. I had the best facial and conversation with her. What a treasure she is. Kim was my massage therapist and she is one of the best I have ever had and my son at home is a therapist as well so I feel qualified to say so. I got to spend my time in the couples massage room which has stunning views, a balcony that looks out from the hot bubbling soaking tub that you get to use after your massage. I had a choice of oils to add and we went with elderberry which is incredible for soft skin. Its absolutely wonderful. The small scale in size lent itself to making connections with other guests that were fantastic and I made friends here while staying that will last! I will be back everytime I am in town. I was here on a rainy weeks end and it added to the magic. I can imagine what it is like in spring when the gorgeous grounds are covered in flowers blooming. I cant wait to see it again then or even next month for the holidays! She took our last name before eating and let us know what yummy food options were available. We will definitely be coming back.

The staff was very friendly and willing to talk about restaurants and the best way to get to Yosemite and other questions that we had. The whole property was well kept and felt very safe easy driving directions to get to our hotel room. We were blessed with a hotel first floor had a great patio out, looking into a wooded area. Parking was very easy we park just a few spots away from our hotel room. They EV charging stations for vehicles and other things plenty of handicap parking all throughout the facility and also a restaurant right in the middle of this place so you don't have to go very far to get good food Speaking of good food, their breakfast buffet by far put it over the top because a lot of times you go to hotels and you get maybe a continental breakfast just a few items and you're not really interested in those items but this breakfast buffet was overwhelming because it was so amazing and on this trip we finally got to eat a good meal at a hotel They had pancake sausage, eggs, different kinds of bacon, like four or five different juices, six or seven different coffees, bagels plenty of people behind the counter to serve you fresh fruit, all kind of stuff and it was well laid out. A very relaxing environment that you can walk in get your breakfast sit down and really enjoy your time there and go back for seconds and know it was gonna be hot and fresh every time so I truly recommend this place because of how relaxing it was how easy it was to get in and out of and the food quality for breakfast was amazing. The only thing that was a little bit still out of date, but still look good was the rooms they are older style rooms not updated like a lot of other places are, but it was an amazing stay great facilities and we will stay here every time we go to Yosemite
