My baby 'Knucklehead' was have issues with hotspots and kept chewing on himself and between me and the the staff at Nature's Pet we finally figured out through process of elimination we found out he had allergies the wheat and grain and, 'Chicken'. So fortunate to have a natures pet market in town. We have a very spoiled bulldog that has many allergies. Eileen is always so helpful and ensures that Sarge has the best of the best in Raw dog food and supplements. Eileen will order anything you need from her vendors. She understands that the health of a dog starts with what they eat. She is extremely knowledgeable, let her share that knowledge with you. If you come in her store for hot spot treatment, I can tell you that's not all you'll walk out the door with, and it shouldn't be. Dogs don't randomly get hotspots there's a reason for them and it starts with nutrition most commonly. Feed your dog top-quality dog food and ask questions. Today I went there to wash my Goldendoodle. First, they only have one wash station. I had a 30 min wait. No biggie, there is a nice area to walk close by. Secondly, they have a great wash tub set up. However, the reason for the 2 stars is the fact they do not have a table or any elevated surface to dry the dog on. I could have killed my back at home drying him on the bathroom floor. My guy was a bit traumatized by the fact they only supply a blower. No dryer or brushes. This took drying him lots longer and no way for me to dry his face. Most dogs don't like their face blown on. With a dryer I can turn it on low and because of the heat the hair will dry. With a blower I have a cold very unhappy pup. I will return to scrubbin' bubbles in Oregon city next time. read more

Today was my first time going into the store! It's a great little shop. I scheduled a grooming appointment for my dog, and was very satisfied. A fair price for a great service! The staff was SO nice and friendly. I will be a regular customer from here on out. I had a lovely experience and I am so happy my pup, Arrow was taken care of! P.S. They gave my pup these adorable stick on earrings after her grooming,which are super cute! I would just be cautious about them falling off and getting ingested! I don't want to hurt her by peeling them off before they're ready, but I'm worried about her swallowing/choking on them. read more

My boyfriend lives here and we were on our way to somewhere and I needed some cat food for she was out and I didn't have a chance to stop by near where I lived before they closed. I was surprised to discover that this store in Canby had very little in the way of cat food, and I think it is mainly a dog food/pet supply store. I have nothing against dogs, but was surprised is all. I was looking for the Primal Raw food nuggets. The other one in West Linn has that. So, I was disappointed in the selection offered here for cats. Great for dogs though I'm sure. :) I probably wouldn't be going by here too often but good to know for future reference. I settled on getting a couple cans of cat food which sufficed until I get more Primal. The cashier was nice and friendly..no complaints really about that. read more

I come here for my huskies dog food and all I can say is I love the place there staff are beyond friendly and even bring there own dogs! Which I love and there really educated with the products they sell there it's not some pet store that just wants to throw name brand foods down your dogs throat for profit only , they genuinely sell dog food that is good for your dog and will even help you out if you need help looking for what's best for your dog to eat and in general with other products like sprays or toys , harnesses etc. if your looking for a place to buy dog or cat toys or anything I'd give this place a chance I did and now I love it. read more

Our recently adopted dog had her first grooming yesterday. She was pretty shaggy from the shelter and Andrea did a wonderful job. Roxy is still having a few social issues, but Andrea was sweet to her and knew just how to handle her. We are so grateful our friend is a loyal client and recommended them. I went here to find my dog with dry itchy skin a cream cleanser without any detergents or artificial fragrances in them because he's been having skin problems recently. The guy working there was very helpful, when I asked him about the dog shampoo he said he didn't know but he called the owner to ask her right away. Some dog shampoos don't have a list of ingredients on them but by looking at the ingredients I found one that would be hydrating and soothe the itching while he was on the phone. They don't have a huge selection (which actually made deciding easier for me) but he informed me that all the shampoos are free of detergents and he seemed genuinely interested in my dog and my concerns. read more

This is hands down the best dog grooming my 15 year old and 7 year old dogs have ever had. It was also the easiest for me. Instead of having my dogs the entire day, it was 2 1/2 hours. Andrea is great at what she does! read more

Great place. Owner is helpful, sweet, knowledgeable about her products. I don't have to travel to OreCity or Tigard to do self wash. Owner knows to stock brushes and other tools to help in the self wash. Also she needs more towels and hair dryer. read more

The worst experience EVER! I wouldn't give it one star but it's not a option. It took over a month just to get in and then we were told is was going to be about 3-4 hours and about $50.00. That seems reasonable, so as far as time and cost it sounded great! Dropped off my sisters puppy at noon and my sister is elderly so she has a caregiver who has to leave at the end of her shift about 4pm, no problem staying a bit longer to help go get the puppy, so we called and found out at that time, (almost 4 p.m.) that she hasn't barely started on the puppy and it won't be done until 6p.m. So now we're looking at 6 hours into grooming and her caregiver has to go home. They didn't show up until almost 7p.m. It was their mess up, but they charged my sister a transfer fee to bring the puppy home. It ended up costing her $90.00 and I have a cat the same size as the puppy and it takes them about a hour to clip her nails shave her fur into a lion cut and bathe her plus it was less then $50.00. They did the same thing to the puppy as I have done to my cat twice a year. I feel like my sister got scammed, they kept changing the price and what time they were going to be done. She was to afraid to say anything because she just wanted her puppy home. This company owes that fee back to my sister and until the right thing is done, we will no longer refer people or buy products from them. Terrible way to treat people to get ahead read more
