After I had neck surgery, I was bedridden for nearly two months and physically couldn't lift my arms to brush or wash my hair. I ended up with severe matting on one side of my head and was honestly scared I would have to cut off a large amount of my hair. Lala (Lanira), the owner, spent over 3.5 hours patiently and gently removing a massive mat. She SAVED my hair. I will never forget that kindness or the care she showed me during such a vulnerable time. Since then, she's helped me with protein treatments and hair care to rebuild the thickness and fullness I lost. My hair is finally growing back healthier, and it's because of her expertise and dedication. She truly cares about her clients and their confidence. I've also had my hair braided several times by Beunka, and she is just as wonderful -- sweet, thorough, and incredibly talented. Every style I've gotten has been beautiful and long-lasting. They do everything: extensions, treatments, braiding, and natural hair care. They are especially amazing with Latin warm toned hair hair like mine, along with curly, mixed, and textured hair. They even have barbers in the back for men's cuts and braids. It's a full-service, welcoming salon for everyone. Most importantly, they treat you like family. She not only braids your hair but she most definitely helps my hair grow and I'm grateful for having Sumego as a hair stylist. She also does natural hairstyles as well and she's really good at that too!!
