Mixed Fajita & tortilla and house salsa

This is my second time trying Naty's Tex Tex-Mex and once again they did not disappoint. Per usual I called and was greeted by a friendly staff member. She helped me with my selection, which was great because I wanted to try something new this time and I was hungry so there was not a lot of room for error. The food was fresh and tasty. The shrimps were colossal and cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the steak was marinated very well and prepared just the way I like it. Picking up my food was a breeze, considering it was a phone order. The restaurant ambience was authentic, clean and inviting. This is definitely my new go to place when I am in the mood for some authentic Mexican cuisine.

Food was under seasoned, drinks had no alcohol in them, and that's saying something since I haven't had alcohol in 10 months. Staff is attentive.

What a wonderful little place!! So clean and neat! The food was "clean", just sonfresh and tasty! When I walked in, I felt under dressed!! I was just in from the West Coast, travel clothes are very casual!! Have the Jalepeno Margarita!! They put Tajin on the rim, the only way to have a margarita, IMO We started with the queso fudido with beef!! Super nice!! And the chips come out warmed!! Again, fresh!! I went with my son, and we both wanted a Chimigchanga, so we got one chicken and one steak, split them and shared!! Oh!! You also get salsa and chips, the salsa is spicy and fresh!!! This was well worth the find/stop!!

The special! Look at all that yumminess. Shrimp, beef and quail! Plus yummy veggies.

What treat! We tried this for the first time and it was great. They have more than your usual Tex mex. And that is good too. The husband had classic combo and I had daily special. Nice ambiance and sweet server!

Every time I come here, they never disappoint! Except last night when they were out of red snapper, and I had to come back today because I heard they were getting fresh snapper in today. The service is amazing, they truly care about their guests! My husband absolutely loves the muscles, and the fried plantain are spot on. I have been here six times in two months. I have tried four or five different things, but the fried red snapper is worth coming back 2 days in a row for! Since they were out last night, I took it to go tonight.

I eat a lot of Mexican food and this is easily the best I've tasted for Miles around. Birria enchiladas were off the hook. And the salsa there is fantastic! Just a couple more notes about pricing though, because I think it's worthwhile to mention: there is no lunch menu. Most Mexican joints have a lunch menu, with smaller sizes and lower prices. not here. The portions are very generous so be prepared to get a dinner menu and to-go box. And I ordered a draft Mexican beer and got a 24 ounce glass for nine dollars. I think this is another attempt to raise your check. Most places will give you the option of a 16 or 24 ounce. Yes these are nitpicks, but I'm not complaining because the food is so freaking good.

The street tacos are the real deal: fresh tortillas, generous portions, and the kind of flavor that makes you order a second round before you've finished the first. The al pastor is spot on and the salsa actually has some heat to it, which I respect. Chips hit the table fast, service was friendly without being over the top, and the margaritas don't disappoint either. If you're in the Annapolis area and want solid, authentic Mexican food without a lot of fuss, this place earns a permanent spot in the rotation.

We started with chips and salsa, and they were excellent. The salsa wasn't overly spicy, just full of great flavor, and the chips were fresh and crisp--definitely a strong start to the meal. My wife ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was quite different from what we usually get at the Mexican spots we frequent--it was one large chimichanga served with a small salad, whereas we're used to getting two smaller ones with rice and beans, which we usually share. Still, it was tasty and satisfying in its own unique way. I ordered the Chicharrón en Salsa Verde--crispy pork and onions in a green tomato sauce, topped with cilantro and served with rice and warm flour tortillas. It had great flavor and the pork had a nice texture--crisp but not dry. Our friends ordered a variety of dishes, including: Chile en Nogada - a stuffed poblano pepper with seasoned ground beef, covered in a chilled almond and walnut nogada sauce, topped with pomegranate seeds and served with rice. It was rich, colorful, and very flavorful. A beautiful dish with red and yellow sauces and a white cream swirl--unfortunately I can't recall the name, but it was as good as it looked. Six tacos with assorted meats--each one was fantastic. The flavors were bold and fresh. To drink, most of us had margaritas, and you could tell they use fresh ingredients--these were excellent and not overly sweet like some places serve them. Service was top-notch from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only disappointing part of the evening came at the end, when we learned that the restaurant will be closing in about a month. The building is being torn down, possibly for high-rise condos. The staff doesn't know if or where they'll reopen. It's a real shame, especially in an area that's already struggling with traffic and congestion. More homes, fewer gems like this. I just wish we had discovered Sin Fronteras Café sooner. Hopefully they find a new home nearby, and we'll definitely try to come back before they close for good.
