My absolute go to place for Mexican food!! Service is always great and food is delicious.

Great food. Wonderfully decorated. Fast service. Owners are approachable, conversational, hardworking and friendly. Run don't walk to Queretaro - the city and this restaurant!

Margarita is made with fresh ingredients and well balanced. The street tacos were great. They were well seasoned and packed with meat and toppings. The tortillas held together nicely and had the right amount of chew to them. Service is not slow or feel rushed, just right.

I cannot rave enough about Querétaro Restaurant. The inside is super cute, clean and welcoming. This restaurant is family owned, and feels like home. The food is authentic and made fresh daily. The owners are very personable and friendly. The margaritas are not from a bottle. Freshly made daily with fresh fruits. My favorite go to meal is the street tacos, but the empanadas, red snapper, carne asada, the rice are all absolutely delicious. Macro friendly, willing to adjust any meal. I absolutely love this place so much we host our Q4 client appreciation event here annually.

Make Your Own Combo - quesadilla, taco, enchiladas

We came in for lunch and were greeted and seated right away. They were donating 20% of proceeds to Win Win Gymnastics, which was awesome to see. I had the burrito al pastor, my wife had the combo with an enchilada, taco, and quesadilla, and we shared the choriqueso appetizer. The kids stuck with a burger and chicken nuggets (of course ). Everything was delicious. Great service, great prices, and great food for our family of five. We'll definitely be back.

We found this spot while in the Gambrills area running some errands. It is around what looked like the town center with so many other food options and a theater, but this spot stood out as we were seated a few minutes upon arrival on a Friday evening. But as the night went on it got a little busier. I had the horchata to drink, which was amazing. Then I ordered the carné asada dinner special which was a huge portion of rice, beans, amazing steak, tomatoes with a side of tortillas to make your own tacos. The food was so tasty and not spicy hot but well seasoned. I had a good amount but also had some leftovers for lunch the next day. The service was great, our waiter stopped by a couple of times to make sure we were satisfied and offered recommendations even we requested. Definitely stop by if you're in the area and craving some Mexican food.

Brought a few family members here after an event. We have been on the hunt for good Mexican restaurants since moving from California so we decided to try this spot out. They have a nice seating area outside which we took advantage of. They brought complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were house made and really nice and crispy. I had a Carnitas Burrito, my daughter had a Bean and Cheese Burrito, My wife's father (a vegetarian) had the Spinach Enchiladas, and my sister had the Pollo Arriero. Everyone loved their food. The only downside was that the service was a little slow. There were not a lot of customers and I was a little surprised that the food came out as slow as it did. Also when I wanted to close out the bill I had to search for the waiter (who was on his phone). Overall the experience was good and now I have one more go-to spot for Mexican food.

My third time being at this restaurant, the third time the drinks (and of course, the food too) did not disappoint. I've brought a total of three friends here for different reasons and every time they were impressed. Smaller than expected with minimal guidance while entering, it is full of great service. Very impressive for something you can walk past if you're walking too fast. **I say it's small but viewers need to also know there is outside and inside dining available, assuming the weather is nice.** Attentive servers, quick AUTHENTIC food, stiff drinks (1 cup shop)- what more can your really ask for?

Found a hair in the beef taco. Last time I will order from this restaurant.

I don't recall what item she got, but I always kept it in the back of my mind. I am rarely in this area. One of my best friends just moved nearby with his wife, and my girlfriend and I were hungry after visiting. On the way to another spot, I spotted it and we agreed to give it a try. There were some nice tables outside, but we decided to sit at the bar once we checked in at the host stand. At the time, there were only two empty ones on the end, but the people next to us soon left. There was a phone charging right in front of where I was sitting, it wasn't long before the guy belonged to politely unplugged it and said that we could use the charger if we needed to. I'm guessing he was the owner. We got menus I looked over what we might have wanted. I was a little surprised by how expensive the tacos were, I was like geez we're not even in DC haha. The drinks were first. They have a variety of margaritas, and I opted for the spicy hibiscus and it was fantastic. My girlfriend got the mezcal brandy one which was very strong. For food, I was debating between crab shrimp and mole enchiladas. I usually don't get them because I find them too cheesy (as a pizza lover, I know). But I was feeling adventurous. The lady said to try the seafood ones, so I did. That sauce was immaculate. I haven't had a lot of enchiladas, but I do know that these were the best I have had to date. We shared taquitos too which were good. Yeah, based on this experience I would definitely come back. I recommend it to anyone in the area too!

The posole was excellent and almost as good as the kind your favorite aunt makes. The refried beans were creamy perfection. The tortillas felt handmade and the barbacoa was authentic. Even the brunch burger was a win. And of course, the margaritas, mezcalitas, and micheladas were excellent. The guacamole was a little one note, but the chips were thick and crispy and salty. This is also the kind of place that delivers squeeze bottles of red and green salsa with the meal, which is always a good indicator of a great Mexican place, in my opinion.

It's a small place compared to a few of the larger places in our area, but that's just fine. This restaurant is worthy of your time! I was looking for something out of the norm and I was not disappointed! From the moment we walked into this lively restaurant to the wonderful aromas, we knew this was going to be a stellar experience! We were greeted promptly and told we could pick a table. We were promptly brought menus and asked for what drinks we wanted. I opted for a Tropical Pina Margarita and hubby got Sandia Chile Margarita. Came very quick and we liked them so much we got another. We could have stopped at the house made salsa that had a smoky flavor and didn't look like it was poured from a jar in the back. The chips were outstanding. We opted to get some queso dip and it was just as good! Better than any other place we have had it. For dinner, my hubby opted for the Cameron Tacos on corn tortillas as he is a celiac. He remarked that it was the first time that he had corn tacos that were *solid*-meaning the taco stayed in shape and didn't fall apart while eating. The slaw was crispy, not overpowering, the pico de gallo was spicy, but not in the burn your tongue sense. He also liked the accompanying black beans and rice. I had Michelin Tacos. The first bite of mine was a bacon wrapped shrimp in a flour taco with a very pleasing sauce. The second one I had was chicken and it was just amazing. Nice slices of chicken with a pretty spicy sauce. Since I'm a big fan of spicy, this was amazing! The last one was steak, and I mean a nice piece of steak! Very tender, not overcooked! I couldn't tell you my favorite, because they were all equally delicious. Juan took very good care of us! Great evening and we will most certainly be back! To all of you that may like the *larger restaurants* on Ritchie Highway, please do yourself a favor and seek one of these stores out! We live closest to the Severna Park location, but all the stores seem to get good feedback! This is so out of the ordinary and definitely worthy of your time!

They handed me this thing off chips with salsa that was enough for five regular people or two Joshuas. The chips were good, fresh, slightly warm. The salsa was fantastic, though a little cilantro forward for someone who thinks it's soap. I ordered a chicken chimichanga for my main. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what came out qualifies as a chimichanga -- it wasn't deeply fried (or baked), and was covered with a cheese sauce like a smothered burrito. Maybe someone sent me the wrong thing? I don't bite. But, it was delicious. The sauce actually greatly complemented everything, and it was evenly seasoned. I'll definitely be back the next time I pass that way.
