I was in the area for church and needed some food so decided to stop in. I'd been before and had the lobster fried rice which was really good. I decided to get some tempura with a salad on the side. And a boba drink. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious as was the drink. The service is friendly. The prices are good. And it's a cute little restaurant to dine in or carry out. I'll definitely stop in again when in the area.

was surprised, and then impressed by the meal I shared at Summer Wood Cafe. The tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and eel quality was first rate and the sushi rice was excellent. I admired the artistry of the avocado shavings that accompanied our dragon roll. Based on this meal I'd recommend almost any sushi they have. I laughed to myself when, following a conversation with our attentive waitress, I realized that hot green tea is an off-menu item here. And it was served properly: just short of boiling hot, with the pot left at our table for self-refills.

We stumbled upon Summer Wood Cafe after an impromptu trip to Sawgrass Mills. We were met with friendly and attentive service from what appeared to be their only server. Our food came out promptly and tasted amazing! We both ordered tea - mine was passion fruit and lychee and my fiancés was just passion fruit.

Honestly I don't have much to say but only that the food was amazing! Small business owner and the food is definitely made with passion! Their fried rice beats every hibachi restaurant I ever went too. 10/10 would recommend. Very small and lowkey shop and super fast service.

First time coming here based on reviews and crossed our fingers it would be as good as promised and it was, every appetizer was great sushi was great the mango passion tea was shockingly amazing chunks of actual fruit inside. Service was lovely but my favorite part is it didn't have a fishy smell walking no oil smell it had a pleasant smell walking in and the place was as so clean. Even the shelves next to our table was dust free. 10/10 if you're picky about where you eat I absolutely re

This review is based on take out* Tired and hungry parents treating themselves to sushi after the baby goes to bed. Summer wood cafe did not disappoint! Wow amazing taste! I've tried a lot of sushi and is always hard to find authentic, fresh, sushi. Summer wood cafe delivered just that. We also ordered pork dumplings and they were a great tasty addition. I will be going back to experience the ambiance and sitting down service, but for now the food has already won me over!

I've been here twice now. Just moved to the area. It's 1000% questionable when sushi restaurants need to add cream cheese to their rolls but so far so good. My son enjoyed his steak hibachi. The lunch hibachi or sushi special is definitely worth it. $15 for sushi and $19 for hibachi. No, you don't hear or see the hibachi grill. The teas are delicious and taste fresh. I'm looking forward to trying a coffee drink next time.

Matcha water . Waste my money .. how u go wrong with a matcha ?

Today I ordered Matcha with cake batter taro it taste like water . I told the lady who took my order & she just looked at me like there is nothing she can do .. shrimp tempura wasn't all that. I'm sure they have better options. I won't be going back here .!

Never disappoints absolutely fantastic every single time With every single bite, I love this place more and more From the beef fried rice to the delicious honeydew or lychee smoothies, don't even get me started on the strawberry flavor Chen-Chen & LAN-Lan are my heroes Comfortable relax, atmosphere Bigger than best service, possible, friendly, and memorable staff

This shop is tucked away in a quiet plaza just next to the DMV. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy, clean and cute. The staff is friendly and welcoming. While I was eating, what seemed like a regular came in and the server was excited to see them, welcoming them back into the restaurant like a good friend. I tried to order something I had before but the server told me they no longer sold it but kindly suggested an alternative. I opted to eat in. The key west roll was very tasty, it had raw tuna, cucumber, and topped with eel. I also got the tempura sweet potato which was extremely hot and fresh. Very crispy and was served with a sweet chili sauce. I also had an iced matcha tea latte with oatmilk and it was pretty tasty. A little on the sweet side for me but it seems like it's customizable. Food service and atmosphere is great. Prices for the food are a little high but I'm willing to pay a little extra for great service.

Summer wood cafe is great food and service! We stumbled across this hidden gem and gave it a try. First off the staff are so nice and accommodating. They have plenty of hibachi options. Now this isn't a restaurant where they'll cook the food in front of you, but the food tastes amazing. A group of us went and we split some sushi and hibachi. The sushi was great! We didn't get any house rolls unfortunately, but the rainbow roll and tuna roll were both great. Tasted great and fresh, they were prepared well. The hibachi was also fantastic! Steak was actually medium rare just like we ordered, the fried rice was fantastic, as were the vegetables. All round just a fantastic dish. Topped it off with a boba tea, which they've got tons of options for. We'll for sure be returning, great food, great people, great price!

Summmer Wood Cafe What can I say? The hibachi was really salty With exception to the steak and veggie The steak wasn't chewy which was great But the fried rice was not the same great taste It also came with ginger salad and egg roll A generous meal for lunch though The veggies were really good but not the sauce and salad I felt like nothing touched my pallet I believe it's because I got my order togo But now next time I know

Was in the area and decided to pop in and check out this place for lunch! The hibachi lunch specials are a pretty good deal! Only $15.99. Pretty tasty with the salad & the ginger dressing was different but tasty. For our appetizers we got the takoyaki (squid balls) but they were just ok, I probably would not get them again. However, the crab angels were stuffed and a great choice for an appetizer if you like crab Rangoons! Lots of menu items to choose from. I also got a HK boba milk tea, that was okay. I wished I would've gotten a lychee smoothie instead- seems like a tasty option. Considering everyone who was picking up to go orders got a smoothie. This place was really spacious and lots of decor around it. The staff seemed friendly as well. Our total came out to $75 as we also ended up ordering hibachi to go. I probably would recommended eating there though!

Everything arrived within 40 min, still hot. I ordered a ramen broth, an order of tempura shrimp along with the spicy yaki udon. The udon was not spicy at all, but very delicious. Not sure why it's referred to as "spicy", there was not a single sight of red or green chilies. I would have loved for it to have a kick of spice, but nevertheless, still delicious. The appetizer shrimp a fail, they did feel a bit chewy/ rubbery, and dry. This was not my favorite. The hot ramen broth was soothing and on a cool day like today, well worth it. I wish that my order had arrived with chopsticks, or some type of utensils. None were provided, not even napkins. And I was a little disappointed that no sauces were provided, not even for the noodles. Often times some oriental places will provide siracha or some type of chill sauce. Perhaps this places does not offer those condiments? I wish that I could have given this a 4, even 5 star, but ordering from a food service one would hope the meal arrived with at least chopsticks, or some napkins. If I visit the restaurant in person, I'll be sure to update my review then.

After a few hours perusing the aisles at the massive Sawgrass Mills mall (mostly in the outdoor section), I was getting quite parched in the South Florida humidity. Being from the West Coast, I'm not used to this type of climate! When searching for a place to imbibe, I was surprised to see a boba shop here in the first place, since this neck of the woods isn't exactly known as a hotbed for Taiwanese or East Asian culture as a whole. Perhaps it is aimed for tourists? I was a bit skeptical initially as to how it would taste, but heck, I was on vacation. It was worth a shot. To be perfectly honest, I rarely if ever patronize mall boba shops even back home, as I know there are better options elsewhere, but since I was running on fumes at this point, I had to find something, and Komma appeared in front of me like the mirage in the desert. And ultimately, I'm glad I took the plunge! I ordered a simple honey green milk tea with no ice and 1/4 sugar, and it was just the perfect refreshment to hit the spot. Business was quite slow, as I was the only customer, but the lone bobarista working there was friendly, helpful, and efficient. I'm not sure when will be the next time I visit Sawgrass Mills, but if I ever return, a stop by Komma will undoubtedly be on the itinerary!

So we ended up going to the line anyway. Komma Tea is a small Boba and macaron spot located inside the mall. You can find it next to Auntie Anne's Pretzels and across from Burlington. My daughter ordered the Lychee on Lychee drink which was a lychee infused black tea with lychee jelly. She added tapioca boba for an additional $0.75 to her order and modified the sweetness by 50%. It was cool watching them make the drink, put it into the shaker machine and then sealing it. They offer huge macarons for $4.79 each with a variety of flavors. Didn't get it this time. Maybe next time. Lychee on Lychee was a very refreshing drink. Tapioca boba and lychee jelly tasted fresh. Service was good. Clean space too.

I don't live super close (Pembroke Pines) but I love the food and boba so much that I'll make the trip. Their samgak gimbap is my favorite; it's fresh, tasty and filling. You can order in person or at the kiosk and customize each gimbap with sauces, cheese, kimchi, etc. My husband likes their bulgogi rice bowl, it's a big portion and you can also get a sauce with it. As for their milk tea, I've had the taro and honeydew (my go-to flavors) with regular tapioca pearls and it's perfectly sweet, cold and delicious. Their dalgona latte has good coffee and honeycomb flavor. The couple that manages K-Town are so pleasant and polite. They are very patient and explain what you can get with each item.
