The key west roll was very tasty, it had raw tuna, cucumber, and topped with eel. I also got the tempura sweet potato which was extremely hot and fresh. Now this isn't a restaurant where they'll cook the food in front of you, but the food tastes amazing. A group of us went and we split some sushi and hibachi. The sushi was great! We didn't get any house rolls unfortunately, but the rainbow roll and tuna roll were both great. Tasted great and fresh, they were prepared well. The hibachi was also fantastic! We came here on Valentine's Day since it had good reviews and lunch special from what we saw in the pictures. We walked in and were sat immediately, it was empty so we were the only patrons. It turned out that they weren't doing lunch special on that day but we still decided to give them a try. We ordered their gyoza and shrimp tempura roll. The gyoza had came out and it was extremely disappointing. We had asked for it fried and they were chewy and barely had any crisp to it. On top of that, it had no flavor at all whatsoever. We were hoping that the sushi roll would make up for it but we were also disappointed on that end. The roll came with SO much rice, like way too much to the point that we didn't even want to finish it because it just wasn't good. We could barely see or taste the shrimp tempura in the shrimp tempura roll since it was so small compared to the rest of the roll. The service was good but not great. So as you may know by now this is my favorite go to spot to go for sushi and hibachi. The food is always made fresh to order (tonight I had the Fried Rice with Salmon) which is one of my favorite dishes with extra Yum Yum sauce. I love the Thai Iced Tea with cake cream it's up there with the Iced Hong Kong tea and the Cake Cream Toro Bubble Tea. The Wonton Chips are the perfect snack. Came here after a long 3 mile walk event, and so my fiancé and I were really hungry. On a hot day, it just made sense to have nice cool, drinks and sushi. It is a small spot -- it looks like a boba shop that sells food so you'd buy first and sit, however, it's actually a dine-in restaurant. We didn't have to wait for table on a Sunday so that's good but that's because it is in a very secluded plaza that looks empty so no long wait or competition for tables from foot traffic! To start, they gave complimentary seasoned wonton chips. I didn't expect that (again, it gave me a modern boba shop vibe so the full service threw me off)! To combat the heat, we ordered our yummy drinks: he got the dragonfruit tea (suuuuper refreshing and is made of real fruit!) and I got the iced matcha latte (I opted for almond milk instead of whole milk, but they also have coconut milk as an option too). I like how my drink was strong on the matcha, but I will admit, I liked my fiancés drink better! For starters, we ordered the crab Angel, which is basically your typical crab Rangoon. It was pretty good, very stuffed! For our entrées, we had the sushi sandwich, and the summer sky lobster roll. The sushi sandwich is great for those who are not big sushi eaters because even though it has raw fish, some of it is cooked during the frying process (it's tempura) so it's actually warm to bite. But the major highlight of this experience was the Summer Sky Lobster Roll -- it was definitely FILLING! Not only did we get a super packed roll with imitation crab, cream cheese, avocado, and fried lobster, we had a whole fried lobster tail!! I'm glad I wasn't eating this alone!!! Service was great and the server was super nice. And it's a nice aesthetic inside, but the boba counter seems to take up more space in the front which is why the moment you walk it, it looks like you'd order your food first and then sit down. Overall, I'd come back to try their hibachi lunch special (the other table ordered it and it smelled soooooooooo good and also looked pretty hefty! I saw they couldn't finish and had to take it to go)! I'm glad I went in the day and I wasn't alone, but if you go in the evening, just be extra vigilant. It's literally the only thing open in a super dead plaza on a Sunday that's blocked off by other buildings. What a cool little restaurant hidden away in Sunrise. Is this place new? Immediately when you walk in there are plants everywhere and displays of fresh fruits right up front. The entire restaurant is very clean and filled with modern decorations. If this place is not new they've done an incredible job keeping it up to date. I was greeted with a smile by the server at the front and was shown lunch specials and drinks I should try out. I ordered a lychee smoothie and shrimp hibachi lunch special and within minutes the smoothie came out with a light sesame salad and seasoned wanton chips. The lychee smoothie tasted pretty great and was a pretty large size. The chips and salad were also better than you would expect. The hibachi shrimp lunch was served 10 or so minutes after that and was very good as well. I was impressed with the quality of the cups and silverware that accompanied the meal. The smoothie came in a cool logo cup with a lid fit for a smoothie straw I've never seen before and the water was served in a metal cup. The little details of a restaurant really show how much they care about the quality of the food and service. You cannot ask for more. As soon as we sat down, they served us complimentary crispy wonton chips that had a spiced seasoning. We scarfed them down almost instantly and they graciously brought us seconds upon request. The Sushi Sandwich was by far my favorite! It's tempura coated with tuna, salmon, & avocado. DELISH! The dumplings are also not to be missed. They're grilled to perfection and the flavors were great. Other items we had were the Salmon Fried Rice, Hibachi Chicken Pasta, Chicken Wings with Thai Sauce, & Tempura Cheesecake. All good. No notes. I also LOVED the Sea Salt Cream Strawberry Smoothie.
