We came here on a hot summer day and had some refreshing açaí bowls. The decor and vibes are fun. There's some seating but not a ton. It can take a bit to get your bowl so if you don't want to wait order ahead. The bowls tasted fresh and were pretty good! Most are around $12-15 but you get a decent portion with it. You can park in the shopping center pretty easily. Overall, recommend it for a good açaí bowl! read more

I absolutely LIVE for a good açaí bowl and since moving into Plantation, I've been on the hunt for one. For me, the açaí itself is very important but the toppings they offer for the bowls is where it's at. My favorite spot back in my old neighborhood, offered sliced peaches and they are THE ONLY AÇAÍ PLACE IVE BEEN TO THAT HAVE THAT TOPPING. The granola is also super important. I order a plain granola. No nuts, no raisins or other dehydrated fruits because the more you add, the higher the sugar content which defeats the purpose of the healthy bowl. The traditional strawberry, blueberry, banana, shredded coconut isn't my fave. Because if you're concerned about sugar content, less, is more. All I need is strawberries and cling peaches (the unsweetened kind/in water). No honey, no agave drizzle! This place doesn't offer peaches so I asked for only strawberries. All was looking and tasting fine until I reached that bottom layer of strawberries. They had hidden a row of brown, rotten strawberries in my bowl. I tasted one and it was awful! They were putrid and had an almost fishy taste which ruined the rest of the bowl for me. I almost turned around and went back but I didn't have time so I threw it out. If the owners are reading this, please don't serve rotten fruit. It tastes disgusting and will only the trust of the people who patronize you. Anyways, great customer service and potentially a decent bowl if they don't serve rotten fruit to you hidden under the pretty fruit. read more

I definitely recommend the Pure Vida Bowl. It is super delicious. I loved the fresh slices of strawberry and fresh blueberries on top of the other toppings in an acai bowl. The granola was crunchy and I am glad that I had them leave off the honey as it was sweet enough with out it. The shoppe is easily visible from the crazy parking lot located on Cleary Blvd. It was nice and clean inside and the service was very good. read more

There's a freshness to the ingredients and the options are aplenty for most palates. If you have not been here before just keep in mind it strictly bowls and smoothies do not expect any savory snacks, paninis, sandwiches or finger food as you might expect. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about their menu. Makes for easy visits knowing the help will be consistent. I love coming here! Being a New Jersey native it's nice to see my home state businesses thriving. I've been to several locations and I can safely say that they all follow through with being consistent in cleanliness, flavor and decor. The atmosphere inside is always so pleasant and the staff is very cheery and helpful. This visit I tasted their new summer menu bowl which is the Playa Passion bowl. It has their NEW passion fruit base and comes with strawberries, diced pineapples, oats, a dollop of coconut cream, and a drizzle of honey. The passion fruit with the diced pineapples can be very sour but if that's something you don't mind then it's a slam dunk bowl! read more

The bowls are excellent. It seems like five million other people believe they are excellent too. They just need help when they get swamped. This particular visit, it seems a couple of soccer teams came in and it took about an hour for me to get my food. They were apologetic and took my number so that I could go shopping at other stores in the plaza. Other than that, the bases and toppings are always on point. I tend to prefer more granola than what comes with the bowls, so I get a side of granola which is about a dollar more. read more

The Stupid Cupid bowl is soooooo good. It has a strawberry banana smoothie base with granola, strawberry, cocoa nibs, coconut shavings, Nutella and probably a few other things I am forgetting on top. I used to love to get this with half chia seed pudding but they got rid of that off of their menu. I have done both mobile orders and in person orders and both are typically fast turn around time. The environment inside is very cute with a beachy, laid back vibe. A little pricey but good when you want to treat yourself! read more

My food was delicious here. They had a big opening and this is right in by my house. I bought two Açaí bowls and a smoothy. The awesome thing about açaí bowls is that they are refreshing. It is no different then playa bowls. The smoothy was ok though. There wasn't anything special about it even though it was 8$. The service was great and everyone was smoothy. The inside was clean and new. The only drawback is the price. It got expensive with two bowls and a smoothy. I spend about 40$. Overall, this place would be an occasional visit because of the price. I found this place to have a very pleasant vibe, you feel like you're going to the beach and enjoying a delicious smoothie. The service is super friendly and the variety on the menu is huge to the point that it's difficult to choose which one to try first. I ended up choosing the "Orange power" smoothie and I wasn't disappointed at all, simply delicious. As good as the smoothies/bowls are it doesn't makeup for what they lack in service. Not sure who's in charge of inventory here but both times I've been in person they are out of something and we tried ordering through uber for delivery, the driver calls us letting us know they are out of ingredients to make any of the items we ordered and we still get charged $55 on the app for "the driver's inconvenience". 2 smoothies had taken an hour before, same when we came the second time & ordered 2 smoothies and a bowl. We've watched multiple people pick up delivery orders and come back because something is missing/wrong. People ordering in house will have to go up to those making the items & have to remind them of their order & they've ended up having lost the ticket. We've came when it's a full house and manager decided that was the perfect time to conduct an interview (which they clearly need new/more people) but I mean read the room: you have one person making smoothies/juices/bowls and one having to do that on top of taking orders. This location needs help bad. Those working there are always nice but they need to work on a better system work wise & inventory wise. I've seen a girl in a middle of a rush get their bananas from the Publix in the same plaza. Looks like the only way we can enjoy Playa is to go to another location, shame. read more

Ever since we went to try the Mango based bowls, we have been addicted to these. Especially in the summer it's so refreshing. I really enjoyed the mango, banana, and açaí bowls. The kale and coconuts based ones were okay. Everyone is very friendly and it has a beach vibe. We will be back for more! read more

I loved this location when I first moved into this area. But service started to crumble quick when they started hiring kids that don't care about customer service. Don't get me wrong bowls are awesome but the staff at this location DO NOT CARE AT ALL. I've given this location several times to redeem bad customer service. They hire staff that don't know the menu . They don't put Lids on bowls unless you ask them / Staff have full conversations amongst each other while 10 people just waiting. read more

Might be due to the shortness of staff because I placed an order online at 1:40pm to pick up at 2:15pm, received an email that it was ready for pick up, showed up at 2:18 and it wasn't even prepared. I told him my order was for pick up and then he proceeded to make different orders instead of mine. I finally received my bowl at 2:43pm causing me to be late to work. Highly disappointed. My husband bought $80 worth of gift cards and when we tried to use them they are saying invalid. They asked we come back when another manager was there which is not super convenient. Did say sorry but that was the extent of it.
