Food was meh, but I was able to witness amazing management tactics. Repeated employee purging shows that he runs a tight ship and understands the first rule in business: never trust anyone. Met these guys in Steamboat Springs Colorado where they had a bar called High Five. We quickly became friends and frequented their bar often. They came back to The Lake for the summer and while my boyfriend and I were traveling across the country, we stopped in to Nautifish for the weekend. These guys are GREAT! The setup of the place is fantastic - there's inside seating (booths, small tables, long tables, etc), outside seating (patio and a balcony), several different bars, boat access, a sandy beach, volleyball, hammocks, live music, the WORKS! One of my favorite things about this place too is that they have a puppy menu!! My Kobi Bear had a "Who's a Good Dog" which is diced chicken and a milk bone :) The staff here is by far the absolute best part of Nautifish. The Nautiboys are SO much fun! Stopped in for lunch with group of 8. Kids all ordered burgers and said they were really good. My husband and I both ordered the shrimp and chicken combo dinner. Very disappointed as it was pretty much a glorified Happy Meal. 4 very small popcorn shrimp with 2 chicken strips and some fries. Paid $13.95 I believe for each of these dinners whereas the kids double quarter pound burgers and fries were about $10.95. If we go back I chalked this trip up as a learning experience. read more

It was just ok. It's definitely a lakeside bar atmosphere. Which is fine. The music today really sucked. The nachos didn't have much cheese. I've had much better. Second time eating here. First was in mid June, warm beer, watered down margaritas, terrible nachos, burnt burgers and out of fries. Tried the second time as it could have been just a bad day, it was worse. Tried different food tonight on this visit. Fish and chips and chicken tacos. Fish was not batter fried and looked like it was fried in a pan on the stove. Tacos did not arrive with cheese, sour cream or salsa. Wife had to track down staff to fix as the waitress was terrible. First time here and liked it a lot. Not currently well marked from Route 7, but if you follow Route EE, there is small sign attached to a larger sign at the head of Nautica Road. Decor is fun, pirate themed. Medium to large sized place - There is seating both inside and out on the deck. There is a stage area both inside and out as well as three bars - two inside and one outside. There are pool tables inside. As to accessibility, the bathrooms (two stalls each) are located on the left as you come in the door with one bar on this level - windows provide a view of the lake and there is a small deck (private?) off of this level. To the right there are steps down to the inside bar with the pool tables, and then there are several doors with, be careful, a step down going from inside to out. From the boat slips there is the traditional ramp. Parking lot small at building - maybe 8-10 spots, but if you continue up the road there is an additional gravel lot on the right with more space. There are steps from the upper lot down to the restaurant - just be careful crossing the road as there is a blind corner for traffic. It is a waterfront location so they also have boat slips complete with 'boat girls' to help you tie up and cast off. Staff was comfortable and friendly and kept up with our orders, cleaning the table, and was able to follow us when we moved closer to the stage. There was a band playing outdoors and we sat outdoors - so during sets it was difficult to talk, but we were there on a Saturday night, and we were there to hear the music so it was fine. Traditional lake/beach menu with a few interesting items I've not seen before. What surprised me was the quality of the food. I ordered the grilled fish sandwich and my companion ordered the fish and chips. (no indication what type of fish, so we assumed it was catch of the day, but forgot to ask - tasted fine so we didn't really care). Served in baskets. Ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, and napkins are standard on every table. The fish sandwich can be ordered grilled, sautéed or fried - I went with grilled. The roll was nice and soft, the grilled fish portion was more than adequate and nicely seasoned, served with tartar sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion - all on the side. Accompanied by tortilla chips and tasty sweet spicy corn salsa - enough to use on the sandwich I suppose as an alternative to the tartar sauce, but not nearly enough to eat with the chips. If you like salsa, you may want to ask for extra. The fish and chips also included tartar sauce for dipping. The fish portions were quite large and fried just right - crispy and the batter flavorful. The accompanying fries were seasoned and were also fried right. We did not try any of the specialty drinks, so afraid no reviews there. I was the designated driver so had to keep my wits about me and my companions were more interested in pitchers of beer than mixed spirits. read more

The Nautifish fish rum bar is a great place to hang out on a Saturday with friends. They have live party music and fireworks. I had the troublemaker burger it tasted like they took the best things in life ( onion rings, hot sauce , and bacon bacon BACON.) If you sit on the deck some of the tables have a unknown stick substance (gum like). read more

Terrible place! Worst restaurant experience ever! We went with a group of 12 people. We were about the only people there and the service was extremely slow. We waited over an hour for our food. A couple of us never even got our food. One order was wrong. Fish was served with tarter sauce from a packet, not homemade. They were out of cheese so tacos were served with only the meat. When we asked to speak to the manager it took him 15 minutes to come out. He gave us a 15% discount which was not good enough. He walked off and hid behind the bar and made our waitress take care of our bill and trying to split it. As a manager he should have stayed to take care of us. read more

Do not go here if you have children. We came here with another couple. Both of us have two children. We waited for over 25 minutes just to get menus, which we had to go up and get ourselves. We went up and asked for service. We ordered everything at once to be efficient as possible. For the waters, the waitress dropped off a pitcher and cups sitting in the water. There were 8 of us. The pitcher filled 3.5 cups. Now at 63 minutes, we had still not gotten our food and other tables had come, ordered, ate and left while we were still waiting. Mind you, we ordered two salads, two sandwiches and two kids meals. Once we finally spoke to a manager and had him bring out our food, one order was wrong and one salad came without dressing and they did not give us silverware. End of story is this is not your spot if you have kids or want decent service. Maybe they want it that way. read more

Been several times, both this year and right after they open. Pleased with food and service. Last time boat didn't start and they were extremely helpful, brought out an ext. cord so as I could hook-up the charger. Matter of fact going there tonite with two other couples. The service and overall experience was rough to say the least. Memorial Day weekend should be one that a lakeside bar would be prepared for. Using it as an excuse for long wait time and poor service is simply an excuse, as the employees were more than often seen either on their cell phones or sitting down. Simple drink orders took forever and a day. The owner did come over to check on the food order and to chat. Much later when the food arrived, the burgers were burnt. He offered to have them remade, but we had waited so long already that it wasn't worth it. He himself said that he wouldn't even wait for french fries to be made at this point. The owner tried to make it right by offering a comp on the burnt burgers (only one was taken off of the bill). His final attempt towards trying to make things right were, "well, I'm guessing that I will probably never see you again anyways." How is this in any way appropriate to say? He really needed to be wearing some antiperspirant as well, especially since it's Memorial Day weekend. No excuses. read more

This place had a rocky start but is finally getting it together. I think it's great that the owners are there all the time, making sure things are running smoothly. Food can be hit or miss, we've had some really good dinners and some real disappointments, but as far as bar food goes it's pretty good. Fun music and games inside.
