A bit of a gamble, but sometimes you have to roll the dice when the menu is trying that hard. The Culinary "Hit and Miss" Then came the food, or as I like to call it: The Great Consistency Crisis. The Steak: I asked for medium-rare; I received medium-well with a "char" that felt more like a personal vendetta against the cow. The Potatoes: Apparently, potato portions are determined by a lottery system. I received about half the amount of the person next to me. Maybe I didn't look hungry enough? The Eggs: My over-easy eggs had crispy, hard edges and arrived at a temperature I'd describe as "lukewarm at best." We also had to hunt down salt and pepper like we were on a scavenger hunt. We just had to "go with our gut"--which is a dangerous game when tequila and cold brew are involved. The Verdict I'm not saying I won't be back, but consider this a fair warning: if Round 2 involves another charred steak and a side of "room temperature" eggs, I'll be sending it back for a rerun faster than a shanked drive into the woods. 3/5 Stars -- Great for people-watching, questionable for potato-equity.
