We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We agreed that I'd buy the materials (a particular trim profile and hardwood species), prime them, and they'd do the cutting and installation. This collaboration worked perfectly.

Guess what, 6 months later, that new door cracked. They will not replace the door so I have to live with a cracked door since they told me it is past warranty. their solution...pay another $1500 to install a fiberglass door as a replacement. We had shoreline install some sunroom walls under an existing covered patio. I asked them a couple…read moretimes during the install if it would leak and they assured me it wouldnt. As soon as it rained, water was leaking through the connection between the stucco and the sunroom wall. They said the leaks were because of the existing patio and they couldn't do anything about it . I'll give shoreline this, they tried to help by adding caulking and waterproof painting(not enough), and it helped a little, but I had to add another layer of waterproof paint that encompassed the whole area to really make sure it helped. After a year, the sunroom wall itself (not the stucco) started leaking in a few places. I had to caulk the leaks and still am having issues today. I would give them 2 stars for at least attempting to help, but the amount of stress I had over this made me give them 1 star. I wish they had considered all possibilities before even installing the sunroom walls. I would not use them for sunroom installation.
