Getting the chance to feed it was awesome and something I'll definitely remember. It's little moments like that, along with the fishing itself, that make these trips worth it. We boarded the boat at 5:30am and departed exactly at 6am after they checked all of our fishing licenses (so make sure you buy yours online prior to the trip). The captain and deck hands were extremely patient and non-judgmental. The bait was constantly replaced and the deck hands always helped if the hooks got tangled. We were allowed to bring our small Yeti with breakfast and drinks. There is a restroom in the boat which is kept clean and accessible. I caught a large striped bass in which I was able to get cleaned and cut to take home! The views of the city were beautiful and the surrounding areas like Alcatraz and Angel Island. For sure will be planning another trip soon

I've had goose eggs trying to get my boy to reel in his first fish at lakes. Even though his first catch was a throw back I couldn't have been happier. The crew was a thousand more times than awesome as well as the fellow fishermen and fisherwomen who put up with my boy playing with the bait. Also a shout out for the great price compared to others even though gas prices are through the roof. Yeah I paid for two and we only used one rod but that was on me,even though they kept trying to set me up with one, because I just wanted my boy to catch something. The Tuesday before our charter, I confirmed with both Brent and his employee. We were supposed to show up to Fisherman's Wharf pier at 6:30am. At 6am, I texted his employee to tell him we were running 10 minutes late. That employee had already left with a different crew, Brent had double-booked our charter despite confirming just four days earlier. He didn't have any other employees that would come in, so our charter was cancelled. We obviously wouldn't recommend SF Boat and Captain Brent. He's not reliable for group events.

My friends and family have enjoyed several experiences with S.F. boat support including an…read moreimpromptu one hour bay cruise and a full day of crabbing and fishing. Captain Jarrod and Captain Brent always show us a great time. The bay tour included some amazing views and interesting history tidbits while we sipped a beer and enjoyed the bay breeze. The crab/fishing trip was an especially cool experience. We did a family trip and chartered the boat for the day. We each got to try pulling in a crab pot, pulling the crabs out, and throwing the pots back in the water. After we checked and replaced all of the crab pots we did some fishing for rockfish. We had a couple bites, but didn't catch too many fish. However, we did all hit the limit on crab, which I believe is 10 each. We had so much crab that we didn't even know what to do with it! (Read: crab cakes for DAYS ) Overall, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our fill of fresh crab. We can't wait to do it again!

He's a great teacher. And the walkie-talkie communication allows him to keep giving you guidance while you are out on the water. 5. He's super nice, cool and enthusiastic. Drew…read morewas very responsive helping get this organized and all the paperwork filled out in advance. Great rendezvous location down by Oracle Park was super convenient for everyone. One we got underway, Drew and the crew were phenomenal at getting everyone comfortable to enjoy a fantastic two hour sail around the Bay. We had a great time and were able to catch some gusty winds that day once they put up the spinnaker. For this trip we went out around Treasure Island, under the new section of the Bay Bridge and further south, then back up along the city for some fantastic views. Everyone enjoyed our sailing event! Pro tip: If you want to sail out to Golden Gate Bridge, let them know when booking so you can organize an earlier departure than 2:00pm.
