Booked a Saturday sunset cruise and it was such a perfect day and wonderful experience! We boarded right on the dot and left the dock on-time, no issues. Water was slightly bumpy on the way to the bridge but that's because we were going against the current. Still, we enjoyed the views and beautiful breeze. Route takes you to and under the Golden Gate Bridge then back towards the Bay Bridge. You definitely get your entire time on the boat! We were served our glass of wine, 3 whites offered and a red and they were yummy! Crew is of 2 and both gentlemen are nice and knowledgeable. Second year in a row that our SF office had our summer social on the Wine Therapy. Our team got lucky in that the weather in mid-August was significantly clearer and warmer than the previous year. Brian is super communicative and quick to respond leading up to the day of the boat cruise and his crew mate is friendly and attentive. We've had about 12 people each time and the boat could accommodate another 8 pretty easily. The drinks are good and they allow you to bring your own food so we've gone with Golden Boy Pizza and La Luna Cupcakes which were both a hit. The boat cruise is fairly stable and we've not had anyone feel sick either time. The sightseeing is great as we went under the bay bridge, by Alcatraz and around the ball park. Seeing the kite surfers up close while out on the water was pretty cool too. Bottom line: Great bay cruise for both work and private events that gives a good bang for the buck. read more

We stumbled upon a booth selling tickets for this cruise after being bummed that the Alcatraz tours were sold out for the night. What ended up being our second choice turned into better than anything we could have imagined! This family owned business with their crew of three were super welcoming and warm. The boat leaves promptly from Pier 39 at its scheduled time so it is important not to be late. It is a smaller boat that has minimal seating inside and room for standing on the deck. The boat circles around the bay for about an hour and you can catch some beautiful views of the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, AT&T Park, and downtown SF while sipping on some good wine! Kevin drives the boat while his wife, Melissa, pours the wine and they are both sweethearts. You get 4 tastes per person(not including your welcome glass) and they provide a small assortment of cheese, bread, and crackers. I had a really good time with friends and the wine was actually pretty good. They have bottles for sale just in case you happen to love it that much. The particular bottle that I chose was $20/$22. My group and I bought a half off deal from Living Social a long while back and didn't expect much from this wine cruise. Given the price that we paid and the experience, a solid 5 stars! It was super hot in the East Bay that day but the fisherman's dwarf area was cold. So dress up in warm jackets and whatnot even though it may be 90F in your area! A few of us were afraid of getting sea sick due to the size of the boat, but we came out alive and not nauseous at all. Everybody got 1 wine to start off with and then 4 tastings. Our host Melissa was very friendly and informative! She actually remembered what I had to drink which made it easy for her to suggest the next tasting. My favorite was the last tasting, the merlot. Very good and flavorful. The captain was great too! The ride around the bay was impressive! We didn't expect to go past Alcatraz, under the bay bridge, along the port, to AT&T park, and back! We went near sunset so we got to see the light show from the bay bridge! Awesome and unforgettable experience. The boat was a bit wobbly at times, so the advice they gave to us was "one hand to hold onto wine, the other for life"! I recommend everybody to at least go out on the deck when its near the bay bridge & at&t park to see the breathtaking view! A bit wobbly and scary since you're carrying a wine glass but worth it! One of the crew member talked to us and gave us restaurant recommendations, told us stories, as we passed long it. He even took pictures of us to add onto their gallery. There were complimentary crackers, cheese, peanuts, and reeses peanut butter cups available. Mmm. I highly recommend to everybody who's never done a cruise around the bay to try this 90 MINUTES ride! Our group of about 20 enjoyed an iconic cruise out of Pier 39 with Capitan Evan and Brian on a stunning Thursday afternoon. Even though the bay was a bit choppy, Evan managed to maneuver the boat in a way that felt like the water was like glass. We went right to the Golden Gate Bridge and then past Alcatraz, under the Bay Bridge and then along the water front. Brian was super helpful with bartending and assisting with the tech hookup for music right from our phones. The boat was super clean and comfy, and we felt welcome and safe the whole trip.
