There are some amazing things about this theatre space…read more I love the way the doors can slide open so on nice Orlando nights it's like an open air entrance. I love how beautiful the stairwell is going up to two. I love how much they have expanded their food and beverage line up over the years. The sound tends to be pretty good, the communication from the theatre is always amazing. They waive fees if you come to the box office to buy your tickets. The seats are comfy and almost every seat has a solid view. The box seats are the exception so be warned. The volunteers are always amazing and they are so nice. It would be cool if they opened a second location that served coffee because that line for espresso beverages is always really long. I love the breadth of show types. There's always something for everyone.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026…read more Front Row, Center Tickets to Ms. Diana Ross' Concert Performance I've been to numerous events at the Dr. Phillips Center but nothing beats having the opportunity to see a legend perform within arms-length to where you're seated. And when that "Icon of Icons" is none other than Ms. Diana Ross...well, nothing else need be said. It was a dream come true to say the least. In my most previous update of the Dr. Phillips Center I indicated meeting with and having my photograph taken with the incredible soprano Sarah Brightman was an entertainment highlight of 2025. 2026 has just begun but I will have to use the superlative "spectacular" once again. As in a spectacular show from start to finish. Diana Ross may be 81 years old!...but she still has the voice and ahem...the moves of a much younger performer. Just think of this, she was performing with the Supremes in the 1960's. I wasn't even born and by the time I was she had 12 number one singles with the OG of girl groups! And she is still working it to this day. Ms. Ross sung a multitude of her hits which kept the crowd, and my sister and I, dancing and singing throughout the evening. However, when she started to belt out Gloria Gaynor's anthem "I Will Survive" that really got the audience out of their seats. An Icon singing and Iconic piece of music is an experience second to none. Ms. Ross, you and your mark on music history is unmatched...blessings to you and your family!

If you like dinner shows, just come and check the box off! Fun show with audience participation!…read more The pirate theme is well done and everyone stays in pirate character really well. All the drinks have pirate names. They have a stuff the pirate area to make pirate stuffie toys, a gold mining area, display of pirate weapons, and bunch of other stuff to look at and play with. The show floor is smaller than a other themed shows. So audiences are smaller and character interaction is more frequent. The theme was right. Some of the lighting was a big dated but works perfectly fine just the a/v guy in me being critical of stuff no one notices. Lol At the start they took some volunteers to help with the show. This is a great time to volunteer random people and pretend you know them. Like saying "pick my aunt, pick my aunt!" I didn't know that lady, however, she will alway remember the good looking drunk guy who volunteered her on stage to make family photos and memories. The actor's all did a good job. They all seemed to be having fun. Which is a great thing for this type of show! They did a good job trying to keep the kids involved. The storyline, well its not Disney they server alcohol. So, I'm not really sure what the story was. I can tell you there was a mermaid, sword fighting, rope swing, and overall talent that makes me wonder how i failed at life. However, these poor souls are out at sea 7 days a week. Let's cut them a break and say awesome job matey! The food, Can't complain. Did come here for a 5 star food experience. As a matter of fact. 20min after sitting thw food was even a priority anymore. Haha. I got the chicken. It was half an entire chicken. Like a walmart side hot rotisserie chicken. The bones pulled right out. The smashed potatoes were made in front of me by a 7ft tall pirate build like a greek god who made eye contact while smashing these potatoes with his fist.... is how good they tasted. Would I come here again? Well, probably not but as a group yeah! All these dinner shows are fun stuff. Like, this shouldn't have been this fun. I think, id like to start a campaign of going to dinner shows dressed up like horror movie chatters. Go! Have a good time! Don't second guess it. Most of the 1 star reveiws are people who wanted a hologram show, that smells like Dinsey world, while being served by Jack Sparrow himself. Great experience! Trust me, we all wasted more on less.

I had been to the Anaheim one as a kid and this was my guy's first time. We both love pirates, so of course we showed up in full character. Ambiance: 10/10 This place absolutely nails the vibe. There's a giant pirate ship outside, and once you walk in it really feels like you stepped into a pirate world. Ships, cannons, anchors, even little village style details. I loved everything about it. Service: 8/10 The staff were friendly, in costume, and a lot of them stayed in character which made it more fun. My only issue was with our server. She brought the wrong dessert and I could not get her attention to save my life. I get that it's busy, but she just wasn't very attentive overall. Food: 6/10 Food was fine. Nothing bad, just nothing memorable. We stuck with the basic meal, chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies, and ended up with a brownie instead of the cheesecake. It did the job while we watched the show. Show: 5/10 When I went to the Anaheim one as a kid I thought it was amazing. Coming back as an adult, this one made me realize it's very much geared toward kids. Which makes sense, but it definitely changes the experience. Also, I am not a fan of shows that make you clap constantly. This is one of those. Like please, let me enjoy the performance and I will clap when it feels right. Not after every single thing. That said, the acrobatics were really cool and probably my favorite part. I wish there was more of that. But being so close to all the theme parks, I get why they lean into entertaining kids. Overall, if you love pirates it's worth checking out at least once. And if you have kids who like interactive shows, they will absolutely love it. Definitely one of those places that can create core memories.

The show is inspired by a Chicago gang theme at Capone's Dinner & Show, and it's super entertaining from start to finish. I tried the chicken with pasta and it was honestly delicious, good portion and full of flavor. They also have a full bar, which makes it even better because you can sip your drink while enjoying the show. The atmosphere is lively and perfect for all ages, so you can bring the whole family and still have a great time. Prices are reasonable for what you get, especially with both food and entertainment included. Plus, it's conveniently located near ICON Park on International Drive. Definitely recommend if you want something different and fun for a night out! The service was exceptional

That's the only perk that was taken advantage. We saw no difference in timing on seating when it came to a non packed show (the show starts exactly the same time for everyone) and we saw no difference in better drinks. We arrived as a party of 2 and they had our ticket ready at the front with the name it was booked under. We went through a cute speakeasy that takes place in Chicago. Walked to the bar to get a drink. This part was a long wait. The line was long. Someone ended up coming over and asking us what we wanted and grabbed it for us so we can sit down. We thought we were eating dinner during the show. Nope. Two separate areas. This is why when purchasing it tells you it's 6:30-10:00pm. The starters came out and they were good. Bread. Mozzarella sticks. Salads. Then the entrees came out and that was terrible. The chicken parm must have not been fresh. Frozen? The lasagna was okay. The pasta was less than ok. Everything had the same sauce actually. The food really was not good. And our bodies surely did react to eating this food. The dessert? Pass. The show was not necessarily what we thought. Think less gangster. Think more cheesy. We were engaged though and shared some laughs. Overall it was a relaxing night but it would only get a 3 - 3.5 star for the overall experience. Also if you're booking online, they don't tell you but you should bring cash to tip.

The magician even got my brother up for some audience participation which was a feat of magic in itself as Billy isn't really a willing participant in being front and center. The venue is actually what is usually a small hotel ballroom, but it was a good size for a magic show. I highly recommend the vip seating for two reasons: 1. The reserved seating access is for the first two rows. I think it would be harder to see everything further back. I was row two and it was hard because everyone in the first row was super tall that night. And 2. A drink from the hotel lobby bar is included and they had some good stuff....including the blueberry sage mocktail I got! The wife of the magician is a lovely hostess getting everyone checked in and seated before doing her magician assistant duties during the show. The magic was well performed and had some illusions that really had jaws dropping! Overall I didn't find it as "naughty or adult" as it was advertised, but it was occasionally cheeky and ultimately good fun!

The sound track to the, almost, 2 hour show was heavy on Dubstep and some of the artists represented are Bassnectar, Magnetic Man, Taio Cruz and Skrillex. Now for the not so positive... The AntiGravity Orlando is being housed in the old Movie Rider building off of 1-92. The facade of the building is dark and when we walked up, we weren't even sure they were actually open. There was no clear box office or person manning the booth and although we were welcomed by a gentleman, I wasn't sure if he were associated with the theatre or just an inebriated patron. There is a cash bar area over to the left of the theatre serving beer, wine and a few cocktails. Also available are 4 types of hot hors d'oeuvres for around the $4. mark each. I found out that the bar and food is catered by Houlihan's. The smell of the hors d'oeuvres was really cloying as the evening progressed and by mid show I was wishing for the smell to disappear. The show's acts of "anti-gravity" are woven together with a schmaltzy story and narrator. I do not blame the actor, but the script itself made the boyfriend and I roll our eyes and wish for the mic system to fail. It was a "clean" show, however several comments were made to audience members that were out of line. The theatre itself is too small to house the performers and to really see what they were doing I had to crane my neck. There is really no good seat in the house. The surroundings feel grimy, mirrors are cracked and low lighting just adds to the derelict feel. Although I can tell what the designer was aiming for, it just feels poorly executed. Full priced tickets are right at the $40 dollar mark for adults and $25 for children. Thankfully, we were invited to see the show free of charge, as to have been out of pocket for $80 bucks would have been upsetting. If you've never seen aerial acrobatics anywhere else, and you will never be able to see one of the other large and well known troupes, then by all means see this show. Just be prepared for a slightly grungier experience than you were expecting, and I wouldn't buy tickets for too far in the future.
