I had the carpet in my master bedroom and office stretched by Guarantee in April 2022 and the work was well done by Robert, we are very satisfied with the quality of the work. However, the back office service made this a negative experience. Short story: 1. Lost records of the estimate causing a scheduling problem and rescheduling 2. Final price was $595 vs. the original $525 that was quoted. However, with the worker on site and all furniture moved, what real choice did I have? Shout out to Robert - he did an excellent job on the actual work. Long story: I was referred to Guarantee saying they were the best. So we stuck with them. I called and Tina set up a Friday appointment at 5pm for an estimate. This estimate was $525. However, the back office was closed until Monday so I had agreed to call back on Monday for dates. Somehow over the weekend, this information was lost. When I called back the following week, there was no record of my quote, and they insisted it must not have been them that gave me the quote because I would be in the system. Except that Robert, remembered coming to the house, and giving me the quote. Clearly paperwork fail. I got a new rep. Drew is new, he's learning, he did his best. Drew first honored by verbal quote and set me up for an install date. However, that morning he called to say that because of overnight rains, the team was dealing with an emergency, could we reschedule for the next day? Totally reasonable, sure, no problem. However, the next morning, Drew called again to inform me that there was no record of my quote and so we had to first get a quote, then schedule the work, and those were different people. After many phone calls and phone tag, Drew eventually was able to send out Robert to do the work, but with all the scheduling and rescheduling I felt backed into a corner to pay the now $595 dollars for 2 rooms. I had already moved all the furniture out of these high traffic rooms and realistically wasn't going to do this again in another week. read more

This company cleaned a large shag rug for me. The lady I spoke to on the phone gave me a price over the phone and explained the entire process. They picked up the rug, cleaned it, and then brought it back. It looked great. For the size of the rug I thought the price was reasonable especially with the pick up and delivery included. I had Guarantee clean my mom's small 2 bedroom apartment. Their staff was easy to deal with, the price was fair and they did a great job. When the driver had difficulty getting into my mom's apartment complex, they called me and worked with me to get in through a rather byzantine route. They couldn't use their most powerful equipment because of the location and the apartment house rules (no using common stairway to run hose through), the staff explained the difference between the results achievable with their powerful equipment and what they could do with the portable cleaner they brought up to my mom's apartment. read more

We called Guarantee Carpet Cleaning on a referral from Randolph Flooring where we bought our carpet. It was the first time we used Guarantee and we asked for a spot clean to clean up a really big coffee stain. The first attempt didn't get it up, so I called and asked if we could try again. This is a family business and it was so cool that a family member of the owner came out to steam the carpet for the stain. She explained what she was doing, what chemicals she was using, and then ran the hoses up three flights of stairs with a cool "bumper" so that the hoses wouldn't scuff my newly painted walls. Well, I couldn't believe it. I thought the coffee stain was there forever. She did an amazing job and I can hardly even see where the stain was. After all of that, she even said that I didn't have to pay for the "re-do" because Guarantee was making sure the job was done correctly. Guarantee carpet did a pretty good job cleaning our carpet at a competitive price. However, when they left we noticed several deep cuts in the carpet. They were initially very responsive and sent the original carpet cleaners to investigate. We never did figure out what caused the cuts but in the process I was appalled and disheartened by defensive and accusatory tone of the customer service representative. They seemed to imply that my babysitter intentionally slit the carpet after they left? Weird. read more
