For my 1500th review: Nava Yoga Studio! How fitting, given my new path of mindfulness and meditation. While in St. Pete Beach, Florida, visiting my mom for Christmas, I was eager to continue on my yoga journey, even while on vacation. Luckily, Nava Yoga Studio was within walking distance of my mom's condo. Additionally, they were offering a wonderful new student special where you could partake in two weeks of unlimited yoga classes for $50. Both my mother and I signed up and have since taken three classes. Each of the instructors has been incredibly well-versed with their own unique style. The three classes have all been a variation of Vinyasa, or flow yoga. I like how the flow can be adapted based on your level of experience. My mom has been looking for a much deeper stretch while I really look to push and challenge myself. The studio itself is quaint and can probably only hold 12 to 15 people comfortably. They do use an app to have you reserve your spot ahead of time but also accept drop-in students for $20 per class (space permitting). They offer a variety of classes both in-studio, virtually on zoom, as well as some beach yoga. If you are like me, visiting from out of town, they do have yoga mats that you can rent for two dollars per session. Ive been going to this yoga studio for quite some time. They have a beautiful indoor studio that has the cutest decor, live greenery, clean space and the best instructors. They also offer beach classes where you can "socially distance" while you listen to the waves and practice yoga. Its worth every penny. My favorite instructor is probably Wendy, she has this fantastic yoga flow. I always leave there feeling stretched out and relaxed. Highly recommend this studio! read more

I love the studio and have been going almost as long as they have been open. I almost hate to write a review because more & more people are enjoying the classes and it's the type of place you want to keep as a precious secret! The Owners are wonderful, friendly and inclusive of all individuals whether new or experienced yogis. They have a wide variety of classes and workshops that provide a good variety for all levels. The studio has a wonderful setting and is kept clean and organized. Many snowbirds say they can't find a place as nice as this back home and they have searched!! read more

Nava is absolutely the best studio around. The variety of classes keeps me coming back for more. All of the instructors are incredible. I have never been disappointed with a class or a teacher. They also provide a variety of workshops that I enjoy attending on occasion. Especially the Yoga Nidra class with Aileen Curtin and the Myofascial Release class with Scott Temples. Everyone that attends Nava are so compassionate and supportive and it feels like a second family with the sense of community the people bring. It is so easy to see what classes they offer because the schedule is updated by the hour. It's easy to sign up and they have a great points system that allows you to receive discounts on retail items. They have great clothing and props!!! I just love Nava classes and instructors and anyone who tries this studio will not be disappointed. read more

I was blessed enough to find out about a beach yoga class while I was on vacation. What a great way to start the day! I took the class at pass-a-grill, it was relaxing and welcoming, and what better place to take yoga than ocean side on a beautiful beach! Even saw some dolphins off the shore during class. I've been practicing here four or five days a week for the past four years. I've tried other studios in St. Petersburg and elsewhere while traveling, but I always come home to Nava. They offer a great range of classes, from gentle to power yoga, plus meditation, restorative and even qui gong. I love the variety here. If I need to go early or gentle, I can do that, but if I'm ready for a workout, there's a good flow class every day. They have several classes on the beach at Pass-a-Grille each week, too, which are excellent for the view and a real Florida yoga experience. read more

I love this yoga studio! The instructors are excellent, especially Kelly. She is always available for questions and pose modifications if needed. Her calming aura really helps relax and rejuvenate as well as push you through the tougher poses. I've enjoyed the classes with all of the instructors at Nava. The room is very inviting and always clean. It overlooks the water which is even more relaxing. The owner, Joanna, is so sweet. And it's not too expensive, only $10 a class if you sign up for the 10 class pass. I highly recommend this studio as one of the best in St. Pete. read more
