I'm so glad she's back after the birth of her sweet new baby, because appointments with her always feel like catching up with an old friend (even if said friend has sharp objects in my mouth lol). They work hard to keep you informed for the whole process, and answer all of your questions (even the ones that might be...dumb. I am very guilty of asking a LOT of questions, and they never make me feel like I'm being a pain in the teeth about it). The facilities themselves are relaxing and comfortable, and the vibe of the office feels more like a spa than a dentists' office. I have so many friends that HATE going to the dentist, but I can't relate because Dr. Amin, Sarah, and the rest of the staff are so great! (Also, my most recent appointment was during COVID's pandemic, and I appreciated the transparency of the precautions they take to keep both patients and staff as safe as possible. I checked in from my car by calling the office, and Sarah called me back when my chair was ready for me and instructed me to wear my mask. There was hand sanitizer available in every room, and everyone wore masks. There's standard questioning at the beginning to be sure you're "safe" and they take your temperature and have you swish with a hydrogen peroxide [I think] solution to minimize any germs during your appointment. But instead of it going smoothly they are hounding me for all this other information that I don't even know and my other drs told me it is not an issue not knowing. Then drew my blood which seemed to go fine but the office staff called me to say the blood drawn was done improperly or something and they couldn't get the results needed, so I had to go elsewhere. I had to pay a copay, and I asked if they would just do the test again or refund me for the cost. They refused to redo the test, or help me in anyway, and the lady over the phone literally argued with me and hung up on me. Last night I had one of the scariest moments since becoming a mother. I thought my 18 month old son…read morehad swallowed a button battery. Panicked, I drove to the nearest facility that could do an xray which was this urgent care. Even though they had a 90 minute wait, they got my son back within 5 minutes of me bursting through their doors. The triage nurse was very patient as I cried my son's information to her. The xray tech was very gentle in guiding me to position my crying and confused toddler. The doctor came in very quickly to examine the results and quickly notified me that there was no button battery on the imaging. Everyone was so quick and patient with the entire process. I was advised to go to the hospital for further treatment. As I came home to pack a bag, I stumbled upon the button battery that my cats had been playing with on my stairwell. I want to thank the staff and doctors at this facility for easing my mama mind and being so awesome and fast acting!
