Really wanted to love this experience, as Tammy is sweet, but unfortunately the service itself felt very, very, unprofessional. My husband specifically called ahead and asked for a lymphatic drainage massage, explaining that my neck really needed it and confirming that this service could be provided. Instead, I received a facial with extractions, which was not what we requested or wanted at all. I personally do not like unknown lotions, creams, or random devices being used on my face without clear consent beforehand. On top of that, she repeatedly touched her phone and then my face during the appointment. Although sanitizer was applied afterward, it ended up burning and irritating my skin. In the future, I really recommend making sure clients receive the service they actually booked and consented to giving them a different treatment is NOT okay. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Navi Skincare. I have been primarily getting lymphatic facials with Laura which are wonderful. I have also had the lymphatic body massage, and my daughter has had the hydrofacial which she enjoyed. Tammy Lee the owner is a very caring and creative person; her paintings fill the back of the small space, which is kept meticulously clean. She has a genuine passion and almost spiritual approach to the work she is doing there and the way she trains her therapists. I let myself be upsold into a full body lymphatic massage and I'm so glad I did, because that turned out to be just what I needed, and I felt the effects for days after. Tammy is very generous with her knowledge and treats like pastries or fruits, and will frequently gift products to customers. Sometimes there are distractions such as someone ringing the front door buzzer but lately it's been pretty peaceful, and there are two parking spaces right in front. The space is a little small, and I would like to see more room for the therapist around the table especially when doing the full body, but to receive a high quality lymphatic massage at such reasonable prices I personally am willing to accept some imperfections, Seems every spa will try to upsell occasionally, but this is not high pressure tactics that I experienced recently at the horrible Ben's Beauty in old town Pasadena, a spot you should avoid at all costs. She also gives one on one private service unless you book a couple facial. You will never share the room with stranger! I am actually Shocked someone would lie about that on YELP. Her rooms are never cramped,, disorganized and always clean comfortable. I have received VIP service and she even offered me coffee and tea, and a chilled bottle water after. 4. tThis was the worst skincare service I've ever received. It wasn't even a clean or relaxing skincare session. I felt like I needed a shower immediately afterward and honestly wanted to end it early. 1. Serious privacy violation I was shocked to find myself sharing a small room with a male client -- no curtain, no divider, no warning. I could see him mid-facial as soon as I walked in. For a personal treatment, this felt like a complete violation of privacy. It made me extremely uncomfortable and immediately questioned the professionalism of the business. 2. Misleading Hydrafacial treatment I booked a Hydrafacial, but the machine was used so briefly that I'm not sure it counted. Most of the time was spent on masking and LED light. It felt like a basic facial, not the deep treatment I expected. I honestly felt like I needed a shower immediately after the session -- that's how unsatisfying and unclear the whole process was. 3. Rough technique and careless handling The cleanse felt rushed and rough. At one point, product got into my eye. I asked for help, but the staff only dabbed it once and told me it would "flow out on its own." That response didn't feel safe or professional. 4. Double-booked without notice I showed up on time but was told I had been double booked. They said they sent a message, but I never received anything -- I checked every folder. The only explanation I got was " We're busy." That doesn't excuse the lack of communication or consideration. 5. No soundproofing, hard to relax The room shares an open ceiling with the nail area and lobby. I could hear conversations and loud pop music, even Lady Gaga, during the treatment. It was louder than the soft music inside the room. The whole atmosphere was chaotic. 6. Cramped and uncomfortable setup The room was tiny and overfilled with equipment. With two people being treated at the same time, it felt overcrowded and messy -- not the environment you expect when you book a facial. read more

Gaslit me and tried to sell me on her Multi Level Marketing hustle. Good deal through ClassPass but not the spa-like experience you're looking for. This was by far my worst and most uncomfortable experience. Read the other reviews- she's way too pushy when trying to upsell her other packages. As she was explaining them to me I kindly brushed it off. However, she proceeded to dermaplane me even though I never said "yes". I told her I didn't want to pay for more services. She said she'd do it for free cause she wants me to be "beautiful". So l uncomfortably agreed bc she said I had hair (ouch, yes but it was never an insecurity) then she did the same thing with a facial mask. I said no, and at that point she already knew I didn't want to pay more. Then she whined about how little ClassPass pays her. Guilting me. She then was yapping about her mlm and how amazing it is that she makes passive income. Mind you, I'm trying to relax and not talk at this point. She started to justify why she was telling me about her mlm cause she asked me about work. In no way was I trying to learn more about the mIm. I liked the product, yes. I was inquiring about the products. But in no way was I trying to make "passive income". To top it all off, at the end when I asked for her venmo to tip she told me it was going to be $35 for her diamond special. I DID NOT say yes to this special. She offered me free services and then gaslit me into paying her for the upgrades. Very deceitful. In hindsight, she knew exactly what she was doing. I felt so uncomfortable and confused. So I paid. Shortly after I gave her a call. On my way home, I thought- she definitly hustled me. She had the audacity to tell me on the phone "This has never happened. You're the only one with this problem." Clearly not because now I see the other reviews saying the same thing. She completely gaslit me and made ME feel like I was in the wrong. You can see a pattern of this behavior in her response to other negative reviews. Very condescending and fails to admit fault. I texted her for my tip back and she refunded me with little acceptance of her actions. I really wanted to like her services but there is zero professionalism. This is no way to run a business. Literally the worst experience I've ever had. I imagined that a facial would be more than just the service itself, a whole relaxing experience if you will. That was not the case here. The atmosphere was terrible. This is NOT a spa or even a spa-like atmosphere. It's a cramped back room of a nail salon in a strip mall on a dirty Hollywood Street. I felt like I needed a shower after stepping into that place. The harsh fluorescent lighting makes it difficult to relax. It felt like I was in a classroom or office. As if that wasn't bad enough, the walls are thin, and the obnoxious staff can be heard yammering through them. My appointment was for 230. I arrived early and asked if I should wait. I was told it's fine and was seated. About 5 min into the treatment a loud woman entered the room and started talking to the esthetician working on Me. She asked her 'oh is he my client?' Apparently I was. Then she proceeded to tell me I arrived early, and made the whole situation very awkward and uncomfortable. I don't know why that happened or how they would think it's professional to interrupt someone's treatment. I was so uncomfortable by the entire experience that I decided to end the treatment early. I expressed the reason I wanted to leave early and was met with condescension. The woman proceeded to say that I was the only person whose had a bad experience with her. Frankly I'm surprised she lasted this long. The esthetician working on me was fine. But didn't feel like she was confident in what she was doing. But she might just need more practice Overall I'm very dissatisfied with this experience. Stay as far away from this disgusting place. Go elsewhere. read more
