My husband and I sought out to…read moreget a new TV and have it mounted so we bought from Samsung direct (with a three week delay in delivery) and then contacted RDU TV Mounting for a quote to mount it. Brenden ran the numbers for us and during that conversation, we discovered that Brenden also sells TVs, had that very TV in stock available and offered this very TV a few hundred bucks lower than Samsung. No brainer. We ended up canceling the Samsung order and had Brenden and his team deliver it, install it and mount it. By doing this, we eliminated the waiting for the Samsung delivery, the liability of it being damaged in transport and the hassle of bringing it into the house etc. Brenden and Nick did an amazing job. They are also both extremely knowledgeable in not only all things TV and sound, but also in the wifi space too, as they were able to hard wire and conceal all my TV and Ethernet cords in a jiffy. We agreed on a price and time for them to come by for the project. The professionalism of this group was apparent. They always showed up on time- and with a very positive attitude, they went about doing their work. The outcome was exactly what I had expected, so I asked them to revamp my internet access throughout the house. As before, they went about their business in a professional manner. Each time, Ed showed up to be certain that the plan was enforced. In addition to this, they were sometimes able to look remotely into my account to help me. If necessary, they arranged a time to be here. There were several iterations of the internet revamp, but the end result was to have the internet service stable throughout my home-which has three distinct floors. Now I remember exactly why I left Spectrum years ago. Their customer service SUCKS. The person that…read moregot me to sign up for the service promised a free month before I'd be billed. But I tried setting the service up several times and it didn't work at the various places I tried. By the time we found a port in the house that worked and got it set up, it was time for the first bill. But I'd never used the service. In a chat, I asked for a credit for that first month since I hadn't gotten to use the service. I was told I would receive a credit. The chat agent NEVER said, "I can only give you a $10 credit." He made it seem I'd be credited for the whole month. When I went into a chat to ask about the missing $40 credit today, I politely stated that it seemed very deceptive not to mention that $10 limit at the time, knowing I was asking for a full month's credit. The chat agent DISCONNECTED the chat. I just canceled my service with Ting today, and I regret it already. Ting might be more expensive, but they have excellent customer service. They are clear and they are not deceptive. They do exactly what they promise to do. Sadly, I can't say the same about Spectrum.
