This place is super cute! It was quite busy when I arrived with a friend, and while we were initially seated at the counter area, our server was really nice and asked if we wanted to switch to a table so we could have more space. Their bingsoo are also very delicious and the small size is perfect for one person. I ordered the melon bingsoo, the bingsoo itself was light but some of the melons balls had too much rind in it. Otherwise, it wasn't too sweet even with the melon syrup drizzled on top which was perfect. They have other flavors and I'd have to try all of them in the future!
Came here expecting it to be good but overhyped, but honestly, I get the hype! My friends and I shared the Mango Tango, which came with a decent size of bingsu, some mango sauce, half a mango, and a small thing of sticky rice. The bingsu was sweet, milky so soft and light! The mangos were decently sweet but I honestly wish they gave more given the steep price point. Couldn't taste the mango flavor that much when we poured in the mango sauce. Now the star of the dessert had to be the sticky rice! Comes out warm and fresh, coconut-y, creamy, sweet, with a subtle saltiness that made it so addicting! Easily my favorite sticky rice ever. We came in on a Sunday around 5:30 and there luckily wasn't a wait! Our dessert came out in under 10 minutes. This dessert split between three people was the perfect little treat, but on the smaller size for the price. The cafe is quite small but very cute.
Oh wow - will definitely return!! The mango bingsu alone is pricey at $17ish but so worth it. The presentation was beautiful, but the mango was honestly just so fresh and delicious. Only thing is I like to drench the bingsu so i just wish the little bowl of mango puree on the side was slightly bigger!! It really was the perfect dessert with the freshness of the mango, the sweetness/deliciousness of the sticky rice, and the snow itself the perfect texture. Going to be hard to deviate from the bingsu on my return, but they had a pretty decent sized menu that all looked delicious! The crepe had a nice mild kick to it with an Asian flare on the ham & cheese crepe. I also tried my friends Ferraro roche crepe and it was delicious. Cute cafe where you wait to be seated - there was no wait but it does get busy! Service was friendly!
Cute, small, and tasty cafe in downtown Davis! I went here on a weekday after an early dinner with my husband. There is street parking next to the cafe or a parking lot where you can walk a littke further. Inside was packed, but we were able to be seated after a few minutes. Service was friendly and they were patient with us deciding what to get. Everything on the menu sounded good. A water jug and cups were brought to our table. The space is a little cramped but we were still able to get to our table without hitting anyone. This is what we ordered: * Mango tango, $17.99 - this is their mango sticky rice bingsu. It's delicious! Just the right amount of sweet and the ice is like a very light, soft ice cream. It's milky. The mango was so sweet and ripe. The sticky rice was soft, sticky, and flavorful. Big portion size good enough for 2-3 people. * Salted egg lava chocolate cake $14.99 - came with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream on crushed oreos and a side of sliced strawberries. The salted egg yolk sauce was so yummy! I love desserts with salted egg so this was lovely. The salted egg yolk sauce was creamy, smooth, and paired beautifully with the rich, soft, lightly moist chocolate cake. The strawberries added a nice refreshing touch to the dish. I would say this is perfect for 1 person, or split between 2 for a small dessert. After tax and tip, we paid $43.24. Was it worth it? Yes!! We both enjoyed what we ordered! I would love to come back and try the other desserts and the squid tentacles curry.
We tried the iced ovaltine, kaya toasted and the black thai tea crepe. kaya toasted - 9/10, very delicious. the bread was nicely toasted (inside was cut into smaller pieces) and covered covered in a sweet pandan drizzle and coconut slices; topped with sliced almonds and two scoops of vanilla ice cream. wished they had left the cut pieces of bread more on the softer side + more pandan sauce that can be used to dip the outside bread. overall, very yummy. the black thai tea crepe - 9/10, very delicious. the crepe was filled with thai tea ice cream and whipped cream; topped with thai tea noodles; and paired with an oreo crumble and thai tea cream. the thai tea noodles on top were odd but interesting, tasted like thai tea. overall, everything paired nicely together. iced ovaltine - 6/10 tasted good, but basically just chocolate milk with whipped cream. Staff was nice and friendly. They took our order and our desserts came out shortly. The restaurant has a cute, clean look. Tables are on the smaller side, but provide a lot of seating. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends! Overall, everything was delicious and I would come back again.
The ambience was really charming! My group had a kaya toasted and mango tango which all were really solid. I especially enjoyed the kaya toasted. All of the elements together were really yummy and it was perfect for our group of 3. All of the team members were very kind and gave us smaller dishes so that we could share. The only thing was that the dining space was a but hot at the time we were there but I would definitely come back to try more dishes!
Finally got to try this place. The first time I drove by and the line was out the door and I didn't feel like waiting. 2nd time there was no line but the place was still packed. A nice guy moved over so my kids and I could fit inside. Don't bring a stroller here. There's no room. U order at the cashier but then pay at the end of your meal. The male staff who is the cashier and server is very friendly. I Ordered the nutella crepe with chocolate and vanilla ice cream because my daughter really likes bananas and this came with strawberry and banana. I was so glad to see that this dessert came with actual Ferrero Rocher. The whole thing was delicious. It didn't take long for my toddler and I to finish the whole thing. next time I would like to try the melon Bingsu. I recommend the lychee iced tea from here. It was refreshing.

This Thai/Asian dessert cafe just opened mid-April in Davis, and I saw some Instagram accounts featuring them. There are two locations already in SF. I was in Davis for a drop-in dinner event and migrated to check out Naya, because "anytime is dessert time" and I have been known to have a major sweet tooth. Open late, located between Kim's Asian Mart and Mathnasium! Paper/clipboard waitlist at the door. The A-frame display on the sidewalk showed their limited-time specials as being Salted Egg Bualoi Bingsu, Green Tea Banana Pudding, and a Mango Tango Bingsu. For Mother's Day 5/10 if you bring mom, dine-in, take a photo together and share/post on your social you get a free strawberry soda. For a Wednesday evening it wasn't too bad when we first arrived, but after dark the line outside started forming. They have specialty bingsus (creamy shaved ice), brick toasts, croffles, crepes, crepe cakes and savory stuff too like crepes, croquettes, curry rice, etc., as well as teas and latte drinks. Croissant waffle flavors include matcha red bean, salted egg custard, strawberry & cream, banoffee. Bingsu comes in mango, Thai tea, salted egg, royal milk tea, double strawberry, Ovaltine, melon. Crepes offered: black Thai Tea, Ferrero, Mango Sticky Rice, Japanese soft crepe, ice cream crepe. Toasts: Kaya (pandan/coconut), salted egg custard, golden toasted, chocolate, thai tea, matcha. Othert: Hokkaido mille crepe cake, salted egg or Thai tea lava chocolate cake, steamed bread w/ pandan kaya dip. Ice cream flavors: coconut, thai tea, chocolate, matcha, vanilla. Small bites: Takoyaki, bacon-wrapped sausage, fried fish balls, purple yam tempura, takoyaki, fried squid tentacles, potato croquettes. Savory crepes: ham & cheese, fried chicken, takoyaki, Bangkok Rice plates: potato croquette curry, crispy squid tentacles curry, fried chicken curry, pork cutlet curry Cold/Iced Drinks: royal milk tea, thai tea latte, iced coffee, coconut milk iced coffee, Vietnamese iced coffee, fresh soda, lychee iced tea, nom-yen (sala pink milk) latte, iced Ovaltine Hot Drinks: hot green tea, hot fresh milk, royal milk tea, matcha latte, thai tea latte, Americano, coffee latte, ginger tea Soooo many awesome options. To share we got the takoyaki which came with 6 pieces at least. Sonia got a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and the Salted Egg Custard Toasted which was rich, buttery and came with strawberries and two scoops of vanilla ice cream. We also asked for extra salted egg custard on the side for dipping the toast in and it was garnished with a sprig of rosemary. For me, I absolutely loved the mango sticky rice crepe. This had fresh mango, sticky rice with coconut milk, almond slivers, and powdered sugar and a side of mango puree/syrup/sauce. The menu says it should also have toasted sesame, whipped cream and coconut ice cream. It was also garnished with a fresh flower on top! I'd love to come back and try the bingsu, crepes or cakes!
Pretty packed for a Monday afternoon! We got the 2 Topping Bangkok crepe ($13.99) with egg and chili paste, it was light and yummy but I don't think I would pay that price for it in the future. Yuzu Soda ($6.99) was very refreshing! I love Yuzu so this is a win for me although still a little pricey. The Mango Sticky Rice Crepe ($17.99) was so good! I do wish it had more mango though. Can't wait to come back! I have a whole list of their desserts I want to try!
YUM ALERT!!!! My sister brought me here, and as she is a former SF resident she told me ahead this place was gonna be good. Upon entering, theres plenty of seating options for multiple party sizes, and the decorations were so cute. Water was brought immediately, and we ordered two crepes to share! WOW!!! the presentation alone was enough to sell it, and the taste was perfecttttt. the combinations of flavors and textures was so delicious. the mango was perfectly ripe, what more could a girl need. and they're open until 11! awesome. #ThaiTeaLover #SugarOverload

My group checked this place out recently and this place was packed. Interior was cute as was the presentation of the food. I tried their melon snow (size S) and it had a very sweet, artificial melon flavor that threw me off. The rest of the components were just okay. Also, it seemed like only 1 person from the entire crew was bearing all of the FOH work so service was super slow from getting our items to the receipt, where we eventually walked up to the register to pay. Not sure I would return

I've been going to Naya in SF for years now. When I saw there was one in Davis I had to stop by since the one in Hayes is always hard to find parking. It is almost a replica of the Hayes valley one. There is plenty of indoor seating for different group sizes. We ordered the mango sticky rice cream, which is my absolute favorite dessert. I would like to eat it on my own all the time this dessert was exactly how I imagined; warm rice and coconut ice cream. Inside, the mango was so fresh and ripe. The service was great, the waiter was very attentive. We went in on a Sunday afternoon. School had not started so it was not very busy. read more
This place was hyped up and I finally gave it a try. Easily my new favorite dessert spot in Davis. They have some southeast asian inspired flavors, including pandan which is my favorite. Fried chicken crepe: B This was solid. They have some savory foods like crepes and curry rice bowls. Steamed bread with pandan kaya: A- Interesting, it was like brick toast except softer. Didn't remind me of steamed buns but more like white bread loaf mildly toasted. Kaya toasted: A This was great, it had pandan kaya with coconut and ice cream to top off a brick toast. read more

Music is a bit loud for my liking, the fan was blowing on our table making the food cold. The potatoes in the pork cutlet curry was so hard you couldn't eat it. The service was mediocre. Didn't even remove our plates after our main meal. So we had to look at our dirty dishes while eating our desert This establishment is best known for its deserts. Let me just say. The small portions they give you is not worth the price you pay for a large bingsu. I most likely will not return back to this establishment. The only thing I enjoyed about my first visit to this restaurant was the company I was with. I give it zero stars read more

Cute dessert spot next to Kim's Mart! Split a mango bingsu with a friend on a hot day and it hit the spot. Came with half a mango, some mango syrup we poured on top, and hot sticky rice. Kind of wish the mango syrup and mango fruit were already on top of the bingsu so we didn't have to scrape it off the skin with our spoons. And wish they would turn on the AC a bit more. Kind of a small portion too for the price, but tasty. read more

The location recently opened up a few months ago and we wanted to try this new dessert spot. It's well known for its mango tango bingsu and it did not disappoint! Came in 9 PM on a holiday weekend, wait was 15 minutes for just two people. Seating was inefficient and thought service was gracious it was not generous. The small bingsu doesn't come with ice cream which isn't specified on the menu. The interior is cute but the way people are seated is kind of ridiculous, the seats are different heights and feel cheap and look dirty. I have heard the food is great but unfortunately I had to walk out because it was taking too long. read more

This little cute dessert place is going to do very well here in Davis. They should probably even rent a bigger spot at some point with all the business they have! They're also located in the Bay, but our first time trying this place. Definitely had the wow factor on my first bite so they're a 5 star for me. They had some sweet and savory items, but we just opted for sweet today. A lot of interesting items and interesting flavors. We went with the mango sticky rice crepe and the salted egg yolk toast. Both were very good. Flavors were so on point and delicious. The salted egg toast was really good. The toast was pretty airy. Would love to come back to try their other menus. We came in the middle of the afternoon thinking there wouldn't be as much people, but it was still pretty packed! read more

We came here for some evening dessert and we didnt het disappointed. Everyone in our party of 6 loved what they ordered. The Mango tango had some variety the way you want to eat it. The Salted Egg bingsu was a nice change for that salty and sweet combo. The Ovaltine was for my little boy who gave it a thumbs up. The Thai Tea Bingsu was good as well. The Chicken curry was average but this is a dessert cafe. Overall the Bingsu could be a little less sweet but that is just our preference. Service was prompt as well. I love love love Naya Dessert's location in SF and so happy to see them expanding. I came here specifically for the salted egg custard brick toast and and wasn't disappointed. The bread pieces are perfectly crunchy and soft on the inside, and the loaf it's cut from is easy to tear apart and eat too. (My brick toast pet peeve is when it's a PITA to eat hollowed out bread). Salted egg flavor is unique in my opinion and not easy to find and Naya does it justice. I only wish there was more sauce. It also came with strawberry pieces and scoops of ice cream that balanced it all out in sweetness and texture. Only thing I found confusing was ordering. There was a line at the counter and everyone was ordering and finding a seat, but I later realized they mean to be a full service cafe once the rush calmed down. I will be coming back sometime and hopefully trying drinks and a different dessert! read more

Finally a new dessert spot at Davis! It just opened last week, so expect it to be packed and I recommend arriving early to secure a spot. Tried their Mango shaved ice with sticky rice, and it was super good! I wish there was more mango syrup though. Would go back again to try out their other sweet treats and rice plates read more

This dessert was absolutely worth it The toast was crispy on the outside, soft and buttery inside, and paired perfectly with the creamy vanilla ice cream. The fresh strawberries added a refreshing touch, while the powdered sugar made it look even more tempting. Sweet, warm, and comforting -- every bite felt like a little happiness. read more

I came during the soft opening, Wednesday night at 9:45pm and all the tables were full. Luckily I was just a party of 1 so I got to sit immediately at the table by the window I ordered the potato croquette (came in 9 mins) and the Mango Tango (came in 19 mins). Mango Tango came with sticky rice and a sliced mango half. I would definitely come back again! Considering how crowded it was, the speed for my food came quickly At 10:15pm, staff came around to take last minute orders before the kitchen closed. read more

Small cute asian dessert cafe in Davis with plenty of seating! It's the perfect stop in the summer to cool down with a bingsu (shaved ice dessert) and refreshing iced Thai tea or coffee. My friend and I absolutely loved the mango tango! Perfect portion for 2 people maybe 3 if the 3rd person doesn't eat a lot. I especially love SEA flavors as a SEA girly. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu! The only thing is that it's a bit difficult to cut up the mango with the provided spoons and it can get a bit messy. read more
