We came to MandRo on a Saturday evening, and fortunately there were plenty of seats. Don't let that be any indication of the foods as we ordered a mango bingsoo and it was really tasty. Full disclosure as I am mutual friends with mandro's owner but the mango was fresh, the ice was fully flavored so you're not just eating ice, and the portion sizes were big. Four of us shared one mango bingsoo and we were all satisfied
Beckoning bingsu is enough of an excuse to make my way out to West Davis for a cool sweet treat. With the almost-summer hot weather, and mangoes in season, I was overdue to return. Ended up sharing a large order of the mango bingsu (with an extra side of condensed milk) for dessert after dinner at Sam's Mediterranean. You know it's a good sign when you see the boxes of champagne mangoes behind the counter, perfect ripeness and sweet variety! Didn't have room for any of their drinks but their boba is also bomb. Self-serve kiosk for ordering, board games if you want to hang out. Lots of parking shared with the Westlake Market businesses.
The mango sago was very good. No ice! Tho I may have wanted just a few ice cubes. The coconut jelly was very chewy and flavorful. The boba was very gooey and sweet. I normally don't liken boba but this boba very god staff was very friendly and helpful. The space is always clean and a great place to have hangout time with students or catch up on life with friends. Will prolly come back for the taro taro. Solid A.
Omg this place has the best mango sago ever. It's probs the best I've ever tried. The boba texture is perfect, not tooooo sweet, and the drink is COLD!! It was so good we came back 2x in one week lol. It's a really quiet and kind of an awkward shop LOL so we usually order to go. It's easy to order on the iPad and drinks came out in less than 5 min. The bigsoo was dn $20 that's crazy. 3 drinks turned out to $23. I wish this place wasn't so far away :(
Love their fruit bingsoo (they're the only ones I usually ever order). The regular size is already huge and shareable. I usually go towards the end of the night so they're mostly college kids hanging out w friends. There's a bunch of seating due to the amount of customers they have. It's all walk up!
In here on a hot day and holy WOW! The bingsu is DIVINE! Ordered some extra condensed milk to go with it and this is definitely going to the favorites list. They use the sweeter Asian mangos and everything we tried was delicious. Also got the mango sago which was a bit thin and watery but still very sweet and delicious. I will 1000% be back for bingsu again Service is accurate and timely and you just order at a kiosk so the more introverted of issue can get what we want in comfort
My friend and I drove here from Sac after we couldn't make it to our original bingsu place because it was closed. Overall, the desserts were very good! We got the matcha bingsu and the strawberry bingsu. At first I was worried because the condensed milk seemed watery, but after tasting it tasted like regular condensed milk so it ended up okay. My friend and I agreed that the strawberry was the best one out of the two. The matcha was good, but even with the condensed milk it wasn't as sweet or flavorful as I'd like it to be, but it is up to preference! I think my only warning would be that the ambiance can be hit or miss. It is in Davis so you will be walking into a place that has a lot of college students. We went at 9pm and there multiples of large groups who were really loud that I couldn't even really hear my friend across the table. Maybe come at an earlier time. Service was standard, workers were very nice when I asked a question.

Ordered the mango bingsu -- udessert is more aesthetic and has more sides but this place is half the price. Also ordered a combo #5, which was a dessert that looked similar to MeetFresh desserts but I actually prefer this place more because I feel like Meetfresh gives more soup vs toppings. We had the milk on the side and we poured it in. I'd come back again if I was in the area and craving! Shared these 2 bowls between 3 people and we were full, so I think 2 bowls would be good for a group of 4!

After coming to this place a couple more times, this place grew on me. The bingsoo definitely lives up to its name. I got the mango bingsoo and boy do they pack it. The regular size is already enough to share amongst a couple of people, but they offer an even bigger size if you want. The mango always tastes ripe and fresh and the shaved ice is nice and creamy. The condensed milk on the side is a nice touch so you can adjust sweetness as desired. The mango is already sweet for me so I like to pour the condensed milk on the shaved ice instead. The ordering process is straightforward--either with a person or through a kiosk, and the interface on the kiosk is nice and organized. The inside is spacious with lots of seating as well as a little rec corner to play games and such. Will continue to stop by this place when I'm in the area! read more
Wow! What a delightful and refreshing dessert! My daughter introduced us to this amazing place. The desserts weren't too sweet, the ice was creamy and the fruit was sweet and fresh. It was busy...but the desserts didn't take too long. We opted for the large mango, it was enough to feed 4 people! The restaurant is pretty casual. read more
I used to live at Adobe, so this place was our go-to spot when craving shaved ice! It's one of the must-stop-by spots whenever I swing by Davis. Being there brings me nostalgic memories. We ordered a large mango bingsoo with some mochi on top, and it was really tasty! I got to know their owners, who are also UCD alumni. The mango was fresh, and there is a side of condensed milk that you can add to the bingsoo if it's not sweet enough. The portion was generous. Highly recommended if you are in the area! read more

My all time favorite bingso spot in Davis. Delivery is great because they always pack ice with it! But when I'm in town and in person it always hits the spot no matter the season. They have good boba too and I love how open it is and you can just chill. read more

Im an all time fan of MandRo bingsu. Their strawberry and mango bingsu are my all time favorites. Their service is fine as it is through kiosk, and their ambiance is playful as they have board games. I don't go for their boba drinks but I've heard from my friends that they are good. read more

Came here to try the Mango Bingsoo. It was pretty good, but the portion size is way to big for one person. The bingsoo only comes in two sizes, regular and large. I wish they had a small size. You order at a kiosk and I accidentally chose mango as a topping (which is an additional up charge). I didn't realize that I didn't have to choose this topping, as the Mango bingsoo automatically comes with mango. That's my fault for not asking, but there was no staff to ask questions and a line was growing behind me. I recommend adding the condensed milk as a topping, it adds a nice creamy texture. read more

We got a Mango Bingsoo, passion fruit tea and iced jasmine green tea. Everything was so good! The mango Bingsoo has very sweet and soft mango pieces and more mango hidden in the middle too! The shaved snow is sooooo delicate and fine it truly just melts in your mouth. Super smooth! The passion fruit tea has really fruit pieces in there. It is not only aesthetically pleasing but also so refreshing and tasty! Service is fast. The staff are quite shy. They don't say much but are so nice, attentive and polite. Decor is so cute. They also have games if you wanna play. There are more I wanna try. I will definitely come back for more! read more
After dinner of course my sister and I needed dessert. We always save room for dessert. My sister found this Bingsoo spot not too far from UC Davis. If you go to UC Davis it is like a 5-6 minute drive. Too far to walk so you need to get in your car or get your roomie that has a car to take you. My sister ordered the Injelmi Bingsoo and she loved it. I tried it and the flavor was there. Our Dichan's loved Injelmi. I ordered the Matcha Red Bean Bingsoo. I thought it was very tasty. I noticed that the ice was a little clumpy. The red beans were very tasty. I would say the mochi was my favorite because it was very soft and delicious. I would come back to try out their drinks. I'm a clean freak...I think the chairs could be cleaned better or replaced. There are stains and it just looks a little dirty. Just a preference of mine. read more

BINGSOO! Located in West Davis, an awesome place to hangout with friends, study, and eat! Their biggest specialty is their BINGSOO (Korean shaved ice), has boba drinks, mango sago, tofu pudding, and taro ball desserts too. A small bingsoo is good for 2-3 people. The Bingsoo is super light and fluffy, with just enough sweetness from the strawberry syrup. As for the condensed milk, you pour a little bit on top and then pour the rest in the middle. Plenty of strawberry as well. One downside is water/water cups aren't free, but if you bring your bottle, the employees can refill it with water. You can order on the muncho tablet or at the register. If your order is less than $8, they charge a card fee at the register, not sure about the muncho tablet. Able to accumulate rewards if you use the muncho tablet to order. WiFi is available, so definitely a study spot during the day. It does get quite busy at night since it is a hangout spot with board games, but it's super lively. read more
This is a well loved spot by Davis students. I think the interior and furniture could use an upgrade. A lot of the chairs are falling apart. Iconic items here are the mango sago and bingsoo. There's not much service. There's a kiosk so there may not be much interaction with the bobaristas. read more

This place checks off all my boxes: tasty dessert (not too sweet!), friendly staff, and plenty of seating. It was busy when I came in on a Thursday evening, but people come and go, so we quickly found seats. I love that they have a game shelf, like the OG boba spots. It's a great hangout place, and I plan to come back! The mango bingsoo consists of shaved snow, mango slices, and syrup. Condensed milk is always served on the side, and it's less viscous, therefore easier to pour. I really liked the "milk mixture" they use for their shaved snow. read more

First time here after having dinner at our fave Japanese restaurant Huku's, and boy am I glad I had room in my belly for dessert here, namely the Mango Bingsoo and the mango sago drink. Oh my, that bingsoo was so delicious, with fresh, ripe ataulfo mangoes over shaved ice drizzled with condensed milk. Only downside was a brain freeze after excitedly downing spoonfuls of the mangoes and ice . The mango sago drink was smooth, but I think Yi-Feng in Elk Grove beats it by a small margin (missing grapefruit pulp and mango pieces). Overall pleased with my first try at bingsoo and the drink; will be back if I'm in town again! read more

Honestly their boba and drinks here are extremely mid and what carries is their bingsoo! The service is usually good, since most people order from the kiosk there's not really big interaction with the workers. Honestly, I've been a big fan of this place since I was a first year, but since then I have seen the store become slightly dirtier. but even then their bingsoo is still amazing! read more
We literally drive from Elk Grove to Davis for MandRo's bingsoo! I have had 2 of their bingsoos, and I will definitely be coming back for more. 1. Strawberry Bingsoo - For those who know me, they know I am not the biggest fan of strawberries, but I still really enjoyed this bingsoo. The strawberries were so fresh, and the strawberry syrup brought a really nice level of sweetness to the bingsoo without being too overwhelming. I loved how much care they take to ensure there are strawberries in every layer of the ice instead of only on top. 2. Injeolmi Bingsoo - I have never had this flavor elsewhere, so my Korean friend recommended I try it. I actually liked this one more than the strawberry one. The powder tasted like peanut butter and was not too sweet. It came with some mochi like rice cakes on top, which were so delicious and chewy. My friend recommended that we eat them warm before the bingsoo cools it down too much. Like with the strawberry one, the powder was added between the layers of the shaved ice too instead of being just on top, which I really appreciated. It is not the sweetest dessert (which is how I like it), but you can definitely adjust the sweetness with the condensed milk they give you on the side. The shaved ice part of both is very fluffy and does not feel heavy. Overall, would definitely come back and am currently waiting for mango season so I can try that one next! read more

We went to MandRo Teahouse in Davis for a Father's Day treat, and the mango bingsoo was amazing--light, creamy, and super refreshing. My husband and kids loved it! We also had fun playing Jenga and cards while we enjoyed our dessert. Great spot for a casual family outing! read more
On a warm Friday afternoon, my two friends and I were in the mood for an ice-cold treat. My friends recommended that we try MandRo and I was filled with excitement because I had a pleasant experience at their Newark location in the SF Bay Area. Upon entering, I noticed there were a few patrons who were in line to use the kiosk. Personally, I think the kiosk is convenient because it allows the employees to have orders ready in a timely manner. Since my friends and I had a big lunch, we decided to split a Mango Bingsoo. I also ordered a Matcha Tea Macchiato with boba as my drink. While waiting for our order, we chose Jenga from the bookcase that is filled with board games. After 15 minutes, our dessert and drinks were ready. The shaved ice from the Mango Bingsoo had a powdery texture and a sweet milk flavor. In addition, the ripeness of the sliced mangoes was just right. It was definitely the perfect treat to have in 100 degree plus weather. On the other hand, the Matcha Macchiato was mediocre. I thought the cream was too thin and wished there was a thicker consistency since the matcha flavor was overpowering. But, my friend enjoyed their Cheese Strawberry drink! Even though I did not enjoy my drink on this visit, I am open to trying other drinks from their menu in the future. Furthermore, I loved how comfortable their seating was. And I highly recommend this place for those who prefer a dine-in boba and dessert spot. read more

A large strawberry bingsoo hits the spot after driving back to the valley from the Bay Area. I think I like the large mango bingsoo better overall, but the large strawberry bingsoo is also excellent. My large bingsoo craving is sated - after eating this, I felt like I had about three full servings of dessert today. read more

Love that I found this little hole in the wall place, especially being so close to home and not having to drive all the way to Emeryville for my bingsoo fix! Both flavors were great but loved the mango one more. Drink was also very flavorful! read more
