There was a community table, high top seating and lower seating. The space was really clean. All of the food was hot which I appreciated. It's kinda like a samosa filled with a mix of stringy mozzarella and feta, but I read it is halloumi, which does taste like a mix of those two cheeses. It's tasty and the dough is pie like. My babe liked the rekakat the best which is basically a cheese filled egg roll, but the wrapper is made with phyllo dough. The filling tasted similar to the sambousik but it's made with three different Mediterranean cheeses. It's worth trying both and seeing which one is your favorite. Regarding the other bites, we weren't the biggest fans, because it tasted frozen or as if it was made a while ago and reheated. We had a bogo deal online for delivery and I know delivery vs eating in person is always different so that could have been a factor. Randomly came across this place after walking through Union Square. The restaurant is pretty spacious, with a set up for grab and go or sit down and eat. While we were there seemed like the to go orders were pretty busy. You get to build your own bowl, pita, or salad. I chose to get the chicken shawarma bowl which came with pita bread on the side. They gave me the option of choosing cut up thigh or breast pieces, which I thought was pretty cool since most places blend the two. There is a wide variety of sauces and sides you can add to your bowl to your liking. The chicken was a little dry but the veggies seems pretty fresh. The staff was friendly, and the menu appealing with reasonable prices. Thinking of a salad when I reached home, I ordered 2 pumpkin kibbes, 2 spinach mini-pies, and 4 falafel balls. I paid, and the order was given to me within a very few minutes. Imagine my disappointment when I reached home and found only the kibbes (delicious) and mini-pies (okay, not great), and no falafel!
