The roof started leaking at the vent pipe location. They first sent a guy who, instead of taking responsibility, completely denied there was any problem with the roof and said the vent pipe itself was the problem as it was rusted. We spent a $100 on getting the vent pipe checked out by an HVAC technician, who told us that the pipe was fine - no issues. So, I had to climb on the roof with a garden hose and run water on the roof to show that it was because of bad roof installation - I sent JP the video of the problem (the flashing of the vent pipe was not properly meshed with the shingles), and only then they agreed to fix it. The second problem is with the gutters, which are still not fixed. There is a gap between the new gutters and the roof, which is letting water to come through the gap. I have been trying to get hold of the person - they have promised to come 4 times over the last month but still have not fixed the problem. I have stayed home from work a couple of times just for it, and they did not even inform me that they were not going to make it that day. All in all, a very bad post-install service - a complete lack of professionalism!

Mike started this project of putting on a new roof for us in the middle of January. He was hired by previous owner and any communication was between the 2 of them and not us as homeowners. He showed up a day or 2 here and there and did not get much done while he was here. He left a trailer for tear off in our driveway for the entire time and did not clean up after himself each day. We are still picking up garbage that has blown all over the yard. He left a mess each time and we had to clean up after him. Because he did not dry our roof in correctly we had damage to a newly re-done bedroom causing us ore work and time. When approached he was rude and nasty and blamed everyone and everything for why he couldn't do his job. He brought a kid here 2 days in a row to help him and that kid was smoking pot on our property and when I told him that he told me he cant be responsible for what others do. The whole project was a nightmare and now a roof that is only a few weeks old is leaking. I have another company coming out to look at this whole situation and will act accordingly. I am writing this because we do not want anyone else to have to go through this or deal with this type of un professionalism and lack of ability to do a job. Service was rendered in a timely fashion, however it seems the job was rushed and the guys weren't as knowledgeable about the issue as they led on. There was gooey puddy slapped on as finishing touches which looked unprofessional. Everytime it rains there is a standing puddle of water sitting on the porch in which Delroy and his brother agreed to come fix, to which they never returned to correct the job after months of chasing. The water should have a way to drain from the porch not sit and collect. Very disappointed in the work would not recommend.

We were quoted for a new roof on our home in April 2025 and work began soon after. The workers had total disregard for our property. They stomped across our front garden, left their empty cans in our children's sandbox, and left nails just all over. They also smashed and snapped a huge limb off of our lilac bush (I watched them do this carelessly). They left extra pieces of roofing on the roof that blew off into the yard as well as a significant amount of nails on top of the roof of our porch. I understand the work can be messy, but this seemed outrageous. I was picking nails off our driveway for months afterward. The real issues started this winter. We live in Colden, NY and are used to harsh winters with an old roof. However, you'd think after almost $30k for a brand new roof you wouldn't have to worry about leaking/ insane ice issues on it. We have had leaking in the past that we were told would be remedied with the new roof. Instead, the leaking has been significantly worse this year causing more damage through our walls and ceilings. The first time they sent a repairman out to address the issue I was not asked if we were home or if they could come on the property. They called and told me (again, not asked) they'd be at our house in 20 minutes. While I appreciate the quick response, I am a SAHM with two littles and really did not feel comfortable receiving a call that someone would be coming into my home while I was home by myself. In addition to this, they gave the repairman the wrong address and he ended up stuck in my neighbor's driveway which was completely torn up when they pulled him out. The repairman did nothing but take photos of the house and shrug. He told me he couldn't do anything because the amount of ice on the roof would further damage it. The second time this happened, he took a ladder up to look at the issue and told us it was because of the siding. Our siding is old, however we are not convinced the siding is the issue. He found more pieces of roof that'd blown off in our yard and told us he was going to leave to reshape them and come back later that day to reattach them. He never came back, and we never heard from anyone again.

Not only did they do a fantastic job, they found an excellent company who removed and re-installed our 22 solar panels before the work was done and after the roof work. The work was done at a price point of about $16,700, which was less than half of what W C Rott quoted. Steve Eglin was absolutely incredible. Our roof looks terrific and is expected to hold up for decades. I recommend these guys highly. There is no reason to find any other company to do your roofing work if Aerial is available to do it for you.
