He actually recommended we wait to repair the ceiling until after our roof was fixed so the work wouldn't be ruined if it rained, and I really appreciated that transparency. Once the roofing was done, he got us scheduled right away, knowing I was close to my due date. One of his teammates completed the repair, and Chris still came by to check on the work. Everything turned out great. Chris is responsive, professional, and clearly cares about the quality of his work. I'd absolutely use him again.

Long story short, he discovered that the problem was more than what was mentioned beforehand and involved dead rodents that somehow made it into the flue (stuck somewhere in the middle), probably made their way in through the said tree. I had them install baseboards, fix a section of my floor, and restain my floors. I went on vacation while they did this. I came back to all the windows in my house and doors left open. Anyone could have came in. The baseboards were not painted, there was dust everywhere, they got stain on many of my cabinets. They did come out to paint the baseboards but got paint on the floor. I paid to have the furniture moved and ended up having to help move in myself. Additionally, the workers that did the actual work were not even from the same company. I doubt that they were even legal. I could get past most of this but one of the repairs only lasted a few months then broke again. When I reached out they gave me the run around, then when they did come out said that my floors were not installed probably, and that was the issue. I asked when they did not disclose this prior to the project they said that they did not know. They refused to repair it and were very rude about it. I have no choice but to report them to the licensing board and go to court to collect damages to repair my floor. Do not use this company.

I was incredibly surprised when Allen showed up and after locating the vent outside, told me I didn't need it cleaned due to the short distance of the vent to the outside. How refreshing to deal with a company with such integrity. That's what I call living up to their name! Regarding the fireplace cleaning they previously did, their workmanship was great. Our fireplace has an old insert, so our quote was $200. They gave me their cell number in their Yelp response and I texted back and booked my appointment for that same Thursday in a 12-4 window. They do offer Saturday appointments for an extra $25 to cover their technician's overtime who normally work M-F 40 hours per week, which I think is a pretty good option if I couldn't have taken time off during the week. That Thursday, I got a call from the technician saying he was on his way. Fifteen minutes later, he showed up at 2:30 and was very polite and neat. He was also friendly and accommodating to my dog who thought the technician was her new best friend. Around 45 minutes later, our fireplace and chimney were clean and he gave me the 411 on my fireplace, chimney and insert. I owed $200 as quoted and they accept checks, cash or credit cards. No Venmo or paypal. According to the inspection, my chimney was in decent shape but it was missing a few things. He also warned me that our insert was missing some key safety components and could be a fire hazard and why. This was important information we never knew about which gave us good food for thought. Now knowing the concerns, we may never use the insert again or have it removed completely so we can use our fireplace safely. The technician gave us quotes for some of the items he recommended that we need to get our chimney in good shape: 8x17 chimney cap - $95 Crown Repair - $140 Installing a clean out door - $150 Regarding our insert which had bigger problems: repairing door gasket and hinge pin (wouldn't completely solve the safety issues) - $150 Remove and take away insert - $200 This was an easy transaction with good work completed. Quick to schedule, available quickly, showed on time, gave me a report and quotes. Then all done in 45 minutes. Definitely recommended
