Pros: Quality doors, drawers, handles, guides, etc., Quick timeline, Pricing reasonable, Protected floors/walls during install. Cons: Response times from sales and providing a more detailed quote can be improved. Not deal-breaker, just an area of improvement. I recommend.

The pre-sales service was excellent, but after we signed the contract, the customer service was horrible. The project manager, Xavier, wouldn't answer our calls; he only responded via text message--hours later, or sometimes not until the next day. Not to mention that one of the main reasons we signed the contract was the positive reviews and the fact that the project manager told me he would move the refrigerator in the kitchen, specifically because my wife would be home alone with our 2-year-old son. They ended up damaging the refrigerator, leaving two dents on the side. One of the team members even went so far as to say it wasn't their fault because they weren't paid to move the fridge--but again, I signed the contract *because* the project manager said he would perform that service; otherwise, I wouldn't have closed the deal. On top of that, there was a lack of communication between the various teams and the project manager, as well as a complete lack of follow-up from the project manager with us. Not to mention that they had to redo the work multiple times because they didn't do it right the first time--such as the bathroom sink, which kept leaking water (I had to call the store directly to get it fixed because the project manager wouldn't answer his phone). The hallway cabinet was left with sharp, poorly finished edges; they redid it a second time, but the edges remained just as sharp. So, we gave up on calling them to fix it. It felt as though we weren't customers who had paid the full price quoted, but rather people asking for a favor. Two neighbors came over to look at the cabinets, and we did not recommend the company to them. Furthermore, I have another project coming up for the break room at my company, which I will now be taking to a different company. I hope that Express Reface will at least honor their word regarding the 2-year warranty they provided; that is the bare minimum we expect--though, honestly, I hope we won't even need to use it. The team itself isn't bad, but the leadership is horrible. It was the worst customer service experience we have ever had--marked by a complete lack of communication and zero follow-through regarding both the project and the client.

Hands down the best price you'll find for an amazing price. Everyone from the company was extremely professional and helpful. They completely transformed my kitchen cabinets, laundry room cabinets, and bathroom vanity. They also offer cheap financing options. I'll definitely use them again for future work! If you're thinking about using their services, just pull the plug and get it done. Any negative reviews on here are from "Karen" types who I wouldn't trust.

Great service, great working with Michelle, Xavier& Rolando. All done in 2-3 weeks from estimates to measure to install.Actually installing 11/2 days. Reasonably priced, changed cabinets to drawers, new paint. Awesome job! Happy now with new cabinets!

I have worked with Express Reface on two properties. From start to finish both the sales and installation teams made the process very smooth. The installation team was fully prepared with all the necessary materials, and were hardworking and efficient. I was impressed with the quality of the doors, drawers and the bathroom vanities that were installed. Additionally, the soft close hinges are a very nice upgrade from the previous cabinetry. Painting all the cabinet frames and interior brightened up the kitchen and bathrooms so beautifully. The team masked off all the work areas and kept everything very neat and clean. Overall I was very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Xpress Reface to anyone.

I called Express Resurface regarding resurfacing my kitchen cabinets. The company is located in Sacramento. I live in Martinez (62 miles) and was surprised that they provide service to such a large area. Michele arrived 2 days after my call. She was professional and pleasant. Her overview of the product gave us great confidence. Xavier came to measure our cabinets. He did a thorough job and made the process easy. Juan and Emanuel installed our cabinets. They are very skilled, efficient and thorough. It's obvious that they've been resurfacing cabinets for a long time. They are fast (a day and a half), meticulous, and thorough. They make a great collaborative team. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. My kitchen and bathroom cabinets are perfect! All the doors and drawers are perfectly aligned, and the quality is great. The project included painting the surfaces, installing the cabinets, and providing entirely new drawers and tracks. I think that my drawers are deeper than before. What a pleasant surprise. The surface inside the drawers is beautiful. My kitchen and bathroom are beautiful. I think my kitchen looks bigger and brighter. I'm so glad that we chose Express! Resurface. The company was the quickest to respond, did an amazing job, had the best price, and payment was easy. The value of my house has definitely increased. I should have done this years ago.

Thank you to Michelle , Xavier , Rolando and team for your outstanding job on our kitchen cabinet reface. Had so much fun selecting materials with Michelle . Her expertise and friendliness made it easy. Two days later Xavier took measurements . He made that easy- so professional yet friendly . Great contact through emails . Set up date that worked for us. The following Monday and Tuesday. Rolando was done by Tuesday afternoon ! Wow , such a great team of people ! The cabinets are beautiful . Xavier told me if I noticed any little flaw to contact them . I saw a couple minor things and his technician easily fixed them a couple of days later . Great service , very reasonably priced , outstanding workmanship and beautiful products . Cabinets are White - Revere style - Dominque handles . Island is Stone .

Fantastic service and product. Couldn't be happier with Express Reface. We've done kitchen renovations many times and this company has been one of the easiest to deal with. I have a new baby and wanted to make sure the paint they use is low toxin. Michelle was great at answering all my questions and my back and forth with sample colors. I thought their pricing was reasonable and quality is great. My only concern is that the product is laminate would will age differently than the paint of the surround cabinet over time but they do come with 5 years warranty. I also wish they had more choice in colors, would pay extra for custom colors. The prep work was amazing! we work from home and was concern about paint fumes and dust but it was completely sealed off and best part was it only took 2 days! We are so happy we are with our new kitchen, it has made a huge difference to our mornings and evenings and we want to thank the team for all their hard work in helping make this process so smooth. We are so impressed with your craft and service, from initial consultation to installation. We will definitely return for our laundry and bathrooms cabinets.

I have lived in my house for eight years now and have never liked the look of the kitchen. I saw a commercial for Express Reface and decided to go online to get one of their instant quotes. The price was reasonable so I decided to go forward with the next step, expecting the usual high pressure sales pitch with lots of non standard upgrades. I was contacted the next day and set up an appointment to have a designer come out to measure and go over options. I set up an appointment for someone to come out and show me what options were available. Meetra arrived on time and had plenty of samples and pictures to help me make my decision. I was super happy with the design so I decided to move forward in the process. No high pressure sales tactics or crazy hidden fees. So far so good. Xavier from their production team came out a week later and took all the measurements for the new cabinet faces and drawer fronts. Again, no crazy price increases or high pressure sales tactics. Three weeks later, the installation day was here! The team that showed up was professional, careful of my property and most importantly - fast! They were done in less than eight hours. The before and after tell the truth of how amazing the transformation can be! Thank you to everyone at Express Reface Sacramento!!!

Excellent job! The whole process took 5 days. The crews were very good and took care of everything. I haven't installed our new hood yet but here's a picture.

    Final Cabinets

We are SO HAPPY with our newly refaced cabinets from express!reface. Everyone involved - from Michelle doing the initial scoping, to Xavier scheduling/measuring, to the guys who painted and installed the new doors/drawers, it was a great experience, great timing, great price! They arrived exactly when they said they would, masked everything off so the rest of the house was not impacted, and within 2 days we had completely new cabinets! There were a couple of the soft-close drawers (an upgrade we opted for) that needed adjustment, and they came out right away to get them working perfectly as well. I would recommend express!Reface to anyone looking to refresh their cabinetry.

Express!Reface delivers on their promises, and did a fantastic job in two days! The process was about 3 weeks from start to finish; which included initial call-back (within an hour of using their website for rough quote), detailed quote in our home with Michelle, scheduling, measurements by Xavier (excellent suggestions and very accurate), and a couple of weeks to build our new cabinet doors and drawers. When their team showed up with the materials built in their shop, they masked the whole kitchen, sanded, primed, and painted the cabinets on Install Day1. Doors, drawers and hardware all installed on Day2. The kitchen really does look like a new model home. I thought they delivered a good value with great looking results. They really made it easy, and they are great to work with.

From the very first visit, Paul set himself apart from other contractors I had met with -- he arrived fully prepared with a variety of material and color samples, thoroughly explained the refacing process, covered warranty details, took measurements, and even designed the layout, all in a single appointment. There was never any pressure to sign, which I genuinely appreciated. When questions came up after his visit, Paul responded quickly with a phone call followed by a detailed email complete with photos and examples. That level of follow-through is hard to find. Once I signed the contract, Jaime came by to confirm measurements and listen to my ideas, translating them into a well-defined project plan. The results speak for themselves -- everything was completed ahead of schedule. The cabinet refacing surpassed my expectations, and the material we selected not only looks stunning but feels great and is effortless to clean. The new coffee bar in the living room has become an absolute showstopper, and the added cabinets in the laundry area are both practical and well-crafted. Miguel, who handled the final installation, was a true professional -- communicative, courteous, and a pleasure to have in our home. The team wrapped up with a thorough walk-through and left everything immaculate. I've already recommended JV Cabinets to friends and family, and I would do so again without hesitation.

After completing the project and later comparing with other options, it became clear that the pricing was not aligned with the level of quality we received. The paint has started rubbing off within a year, the drawer hardware feels very low quality (mostly plastic), and the drawers did not close properly from the installation. The drawer slides and soft-close mechanisms are low quality, feel cheap and unreliable, and the slide system doesn't function properly. With our prior Ikea drawers, which had metal throughout, that was never an issue. These are fundamental issues that should not occur at this price point. Support was also a challenge. Communication felt defensive, and we had to follow up multiple times just to get someone to come out for fixes. Based on our experience, we would not recommend JV Cabinets. There are other providers offering solid wood cabinets with noticeably better build quality and finish for similar, or lower cost.

From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful and truly understood the scope of the project and the timeframe I was aiming for. Given the complexities of other projects happening simultaneously, Tobias navigated everything with professionalism and clear communication. He set realistic expectations and timelines, which made the entire process much smoother. The final result exceeded my expectations--the new floors look fantastic! The team efficiently demoed the old flooring, reattached the baseboards, and even installed beautiful tile in the bathrooms. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and the service I received. I highly recommend NG Flooring and give them a well-deserved five-star rating!

We hired Wolff Construction for a kitchen and living room remodel, and NG Floors was subcontracted…read moreto replace the flooring throughout our home. Unfortunately, the flooring portion of the project became an extremely stressful experience. Throughout the replacement project after our GC was informed of the flooring not being a product failure, Nazar (owner) was our primary and essentially only point of contact regarding the second flooring installation and follow-up work. One of the ongoing frustrations throughout the process was the lack of proactive communication and scheduling consistency. Many times, we found ourselves having to initiate contact just to understand timelines, next steps, or when work would actually resume. There were also instances where scheduling expectations were unclear or changed at the last minute, including receiving calls late on Fridays asking if crews could come work on Saturdays after we had previously understood that no weekend work was planned. That level of uncertainty became very difficult to manage while simultaneously trying to live around a major flooring replacement. After installation, the flooring began failing. What was initially presented as a product issue ultimately turned into a dispute involving the flooring manufacturer, who required a third-party inspection to determine the cause of failure. That independent inspection identified the issue as installation-related, including improper floor preparation, spacing issues, and the absence of a proper moisture barrier. What made the situation especially difficult was the amount of disruption this caused our family. Our home was left torn apart and partially unlivable for over three months during the holidays, beginning Nov. 3rd and extending well past New Year's and into February while the flooring issue was being addressed. This was not due to material shortages or product availability delays, but rather the prolonged pace of the repair process itself. Despite the actual flooring work only taking a couple of weeks to complete, we spent more than 90 days living in and out of the house while our belongings were stacked throughout the garage and much of the home was reduced to exposed concrete slab. We later learned that the flooring material installed was also of a noticeably lower quality than the original flooring product we believed was being matched as part of the initial remodel project. Even after the installation deficiencies were identified, many proposed solutions came with resistance or delays, and we ultimately had to hire an outside flooring professional at our own expense to oversee the final installation process ourselves. We also paid for hotel stays and other various costs associated with making sure the second replacement job was done to ASTM standards. To be fair, there were times communication was responsive, which is why this is not a 1-star review. However, this experience required far more time, oversight, and stress than any homeowner should reasonably expect from a professional flooring installation. During the amount of due diligence we were forced to do throughout this process, we also learned that California contractor regulations generally limit upfront deposits on home-improvement contracts to 10% or $1,000, whichever is less. In our case, substantially more than that was collected upfront. One thing this experience taught us is how important it is for homeowners to educate themselves on flooring installation standards, moisture requirements, and California contractor protections before beginning a major flooring project. Unfortunately, we trusted the process more than we should have and only learned many of these standards after problems began appearing. For anyone beginning a flooring project, we would strongly encourage reviewing: * ASTM flooring and subfloor preparation standards * Manufacturer installation requirements * California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) contract and deposit regulations We genuinely hope sharing our experience helps other homeowners avoid going through a similar situation.

I love my kitchen and I've also approached him about a future project. I had a basic 1970's era condo kitchen-outdated but can't really change the footprint. I tried to revive it with refacing. It still didn't function well, but I worked around it. A leak in the wall behind the cabinets, forced an unexpected remodel. I received estimates from several contractors using stock or RTA "IKEA" kitchen cabinets. The cabinets I saw in these stores did not seem as sturdy as my existing cabinets. I couldn't customize and would have similar unusable spaces where the pre-made cabinets are put together. The contractors and pre-made cabinet stores told me custom cabinets would cost twice as much as their estimates. While looking for design ideas, I saw multiple Houzz and Reddit posts stating a local carpenter could give me custom cabinets at a much better price. I am so glad I paid attention to the posts! That's how I found Sacramento Millworks. His price for my project was comparable to the quotes I received for stock cabinets. Raymond is a carpenter and a designer. Most of contractors I've worked with recently send employees to do the work. They just pop in here and there until it's time for payment. Raymond was on site working with one helper everyday. It's hard to know where to begin because the experience with KM is so different from that experienced with typical contractors. Communication. Typically a major frustration with contractors was in fact excellent with KM. Emails and calls were returned in a timely manner and they go to great lengths to explain the process and provide a detailed timeline. Duration of work. We had gotten estimates of 4-6 months to complete our remodel; KM was finished in a little over a month. They stuck to their schedule (despite problems that arose with suppliers) and always communicated any changes that were required. They handled all of the permitting requirements, and in Davis that is not a small task. Notable is that a KM staffer came to the house the day of final inspection and looked at the whole house for potential problems. He replaced ALL of our smoke detectors at no cost just to make sure there were no problems with the inspection. The Davis inspector was very impressed with the work and passed the job without any concerns. Quality of work. We had superb craftsmen work on our project; John and Zachary and Joe were all just excellent. They took pride in their work, showed up on time, and always communicated what they were doing. They took great pains to minimize dust and overall mess. Huge sheets of plastic were placed floor to ceiling to localize the dust and debris. Sheets of protective material were placed on the floor. Everything was done in a professional manner. The supervisor of our project, Edgar, was remarkable in watching over the project and being there whenever needed. Sourcing of materials. KM can provide pretty much everything you need with regards to cabinets, fixtures and some appliances. The quality of all materials from KM was excellent and so much more convenient than searching it out on your own. I have to add, however, that their recommended appliance source, A-1 appliance, was very disappointing. A-1 failed to order our rangetop despite it being paid for well in advance, and their installers were incompetent and rude. Our project foreman, Edgar, intervened and was a lifesaver in getting a rangetop in time to prevent a major delay, and in fixing the poor installation provided by A-1. Cost. We had many estimates for our remodel and KM was far from the highest. Their estimate was very accurate and very reasonable considering the quality of work, convenience, and the speed with which the work was done. In summary, Kitchen Mart stands way way above the pack when it comes to the often tedious and stressful process of remodeling your home. They offer a one stop solution, do superb work at a reasonable price, and complete the work in a very timely fashion.
