Upon pulling down the shiplap, they found that the framing was much thinner than expected and went out to buy better insulation right away. They were very flexible with our asks and expertly navigated a few challenges once the walls were opened up. I received four estimates, but only three did site visits. Three of the estimates were over $4,000. My house was built in 1993. I've had the front soft washed and repainted three times since then. Each time the price was a little higher, but no where close to $4,000. Liberty Painting's price was very reasonable and no where near $4,000. We scheduled the work for the following week. Two painters arrived on time. We discussed the scope of work, which included soft washing the wood. They were both very friendly and did excellent work. They cleaned up the work area as promised. I wanted to write a review of the great work that Hugo and…read more Noel did refinishing our living room, kitchen ceiling and three doorways in November. In the living room, Hugo and Noel replaced our dated wood paneling with drywall, refinished one entry way, the baseboards, shoe molding and the room's bay window trim and sill. In the living room, the drywall work was made more challenging as they had to fit it up against the ceiling beams and a fireplace mantle. In the kitchen, they refinished the ceiling and re-framed two doorways, that had dated louvered doors, into beautiful entryways. All work was meticulous, with perfect fit and finish. One example of the attention to detail and craftsmanship was the bay window sill replacement. Hugo took stock sill molding that was wider than the original molding and cut it to size. The result was a sill replacement looked exactly like the original. He even hand sanded the sill's corners to match the curve of the original sill. In all they did, their care for fine workmanship was evident. Words to describe Hugo, Noel and their work: professional, meticulous, prompt, courteous, friendly. Communications were great. Hugo and Noel always explained the work they were going to do that day and at the end of the day, relayed their work schedule for the next day. Each day, they arrived at the time they said they would be at our house. With all work, they took the time to ask and understand what we, as customers, wanted. Throughout the project, they asked for feedback on their work to make sure they were meeting our expectations. We were very satisfied. We highly recommend Hugo and Noel!

My husband contacted Cristian twice and he has not returned his texts. It seems like he is avoiding him because he is pretty responsive. They also ate food in our master bedroom when they were doing renovations for our bathroom. They spilled food on the carpet and didn't bother to tell me about it. It was a huge yellow stain. Nobody in our house eats upstairs. I later noticed they put a drop cloth on it afterwards. I understand people make mistakes, but don't cover it up and act like you don't know what happened. I would them rather be honest and let me know.

I had a hole in my living room ceiling and a hole in my garage wall. I searched online and came across Ashburn Painting and Drywall and read the reviews. Even though I had an offer from a company in another town, I decided to support our local businesses. After contacting them I received a quote and scheduled the work. The work in the garage turned out great, but the living room work was not good. It was not flush with the rest of the ceiling and there was a noticeable line about 18 inches long. When I contacted them about it I was told they stand behind their work. They came back out two weeks later to fix it. Low and behold, the line is still there, they never touched it. I've waited two weeks for a follow up call to see if I was happy with the work before I decided to write this review. I did not receive a call. I will now need to call someone else to fix my ceiling.
