Loved Neapolitan!!!! My husband and I drove to Carolina Beach for their Grand Opening and we had a great time, coming home with several bottles of lovely wine. Neapolitan has a great vibe- friendly and welcoming with great atmosphere. The wine selection is fantastic, and if you are not into wine they have a great selection of beers, cider, seltzers, and and other interesting beverages that are cooler than I am. Neapolitan is more than a wine/beer shop. There are tables and comfortable chairs in the space where you can relax. They host jigsaw tournaments (how cool is that??), wine and paint, and since they had live music during their Grand Opening, they will probably do more of that {though I only speculate}. Interesting snack food is available for purchase, and efforts have been made to source local Carolina-based products. While not a staple, there were amazing hand-held charcuterie offered with the wine tasting at the Grand Opening. The owners know how to host successful events! Easily one of the coolest wine bars I've ever been to. It's inside a beautifully restored old church, which gives it such a unique and cozy vibe--high ceilings, warm lighting, just the perfect place to unwind. Patio is also awesome. The wine selection is top-tier, and the owner + staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they really care about what they're doing. Bonus points if Bevan, the sweetest Lab, is there to greet you. If you're looking for a spot with awesome wine and great people this is it. Highly recommend! read more

I was really excited to try out Neapolitan when I heard it opened. I'm a big fan of wine, and I love supporting local businesses. I was not disappointed! The shop has a great selection of wines from all over the world, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they were happy to answer all of my questions about the wines. The atmosphere is also really nice. I never write reviews but Neapolitan deserves one because this is truly one of the best wine bars (& shops) on the east coast. Not only is the wine selection incredible, but the atmosphere is literally perfect. They did an incredible job of curating an intimate, special & beautful space to enjoy a perfect glass of wine! Great wine shop in a cute little stand alone building that was once a church. They do wonderful tastings. The owners are so welcoming and kind. They have beautiful artwork on display from the owner and her horse. Yes, you read that correctly! The horse creates masterpieces and has been featured in Reader's Digest! Delicious wines, curated gifts and beautiful art. We are local and feel so lucky to have this new business on the island. read more

Best wine bar on Carolina Beach, I'd even argue all of the greater Wilmington area. 5 minute walk to the beach, great for a pre-dinner or post-dinner drink! They also have table top games, fire tables, and cool wine tastings weekly. Cute and classy outdoor deck with string lights & ambiance (+ fire tables for when it gets chilly). 5 stars from me! read more

Highly recommend coming here while visiting Carolina Beach! I came here on vacation on a girls trip and they did a special wine tasting event for us and it was so fun and the perfect vibe!
