I never ever leave reviews - this is my first one, but I was so impressed at how well they did that I wanted to advocate for them. I spent quite a long time talking to different cleaners (about 7 companies) to see who would be the right choice to go with. My factors were: - All of the things I was looking to be cleaned would be included in the service. - Price point. - Pet safe products. - Good communication and transparency on what would be done. - Good reviews. - Availability fitting me in. After lots of research, I decided to go with NeatO Cleaning and I'm so glad I did. They had two people come out and they both went above and beyond. They took their time making sure everything was done super well but also efficiently, and for such a great price! I've had experiences with 5 different cleaning agencies here in LA over 11 years and Neato has far surpassed them. The price is truly reasonable. Doug has always been great about communication, for example, in our first conversation we catered the service around what my personal needs would be. The cleaners are lovely and not only do a thorough job but they are faster than anyone else I've hired and they remember my idiosyncrasies, like for example how I always want a particular pillow cover on a certain pillow. Because of my experiences with other companies I had thought it was fairly normal to not be on time, not communicate well, and even to break things. I highly recommend Doug and the NeatO team. Doug was extremely accommodating to my last minute request for a deep cleaning that was received after normal business hours for the next day. I wasn't sure if it was too big of an ask but my wife was having a surgery in 2 days and informed me pretty late in the evening that she would love the house cleaned prior to the surgery, and not have to worry about wanting to clean anything during recovery. Doug made it happen. Doug was thorough in explaining the fees, services and procedures. Each type of service was a flat rate, no hidden fees, fridge cleaning was an up charge which was stated ahead of time. A team of 3 came out to do the deep cleaning, and were there roughly 4 hours thoroughly cleaning everything. More about the fridge cleaning... They literally cleaned the entire area in, around, behind, above and so on, when cleaning the "fridge". Way more service than I've ever seen or expected. After living in the same apartment for nine years and not really leaving at all for the last full year, I'd been thinking about getting my apartment cleaned professionally for the first time ever. Unfortunately, the cleaning people that were recommended by friends and neighbors were totally booked, and I wasn't super comfortable with just picking a random place off the internet. Just before my friend came to visit us as our first post-quarantine guest, I saw this cleaning service advertising on Nextdoor, and decided to give them a shot. Well, I'm extremely glad I did! The pricing is clearly explained up front, the scheduling was easy, and the cleaners were on time and fully equipped with their own supplies. I gave them a walk-through of our apartment, and then left so they could do their thing, and when we got back later that day the place looked (and smelled) super clean. I dust and sweep on a regular basis, but I don't think I realized how many spots had developed long-term grime until they were cleaned up. The dust you only see at certain angles, the crud on the open shelving underneath the tea tins, and the cobwebs in the corners of the high ceilings were all gone. LOVE LOVE LOVE! After bunkering down for over a year my tiny little studio was LIVED IN so as a treat for surviving a whole pandemic I got my place professionally cleaned. After checking for the ol groupon cleaning I normally would use, friend recommended NeatO to me and consider my Groupon account canceled. I noticed with Groupons and living socials that the cleaning services were: A. Wishy washy on the prices B. Wishy washy on services provided C. A little clingy in that they wanted a long term commitment to monthly cleanings. NeatO, on the other hand, had up front flat rate pricing I didn't have to have a degree in computer science to understand and scheduling a clean was a freaking breeze. And what did I get?! A whole new apartment. Y'all I mean it's been a week and I am STILL finding things they cleaned for me. I'm talking, like, trash cans. They CLEANED my TRASH. THAT IS HOW THOROUGH THEY ARE. The cleaners showed up, ON TIME, and we did a walk through of my place where I was able to shamefully show them how I've lived like a mole rat but they were not judgmental, they just got to work. Saw this new business recommended on NextDoor and wanted to give them a shot, especially since our regular cleaning woman is down with covid, along with the rest of her family and it had been about three weeks since our last cleaning. Because my husband just had hip surgery and had to stay on premises, I was more interested in just a surface cleaning than a full-on deep cleaning. I didn't need them to clean out the refrigerator or oven or pantry. The two guys were here for just about four hours and did everything I wanted them to do, and were nice and quiet and respectful of the place, and weren't out off by our two small dogs, who like to pretend they're big dogs when strangers are around.
