I needed to deep clean my home as a new tenant was moving in. I had a few stains on the carpet, unclear windows, and shower/bathtub with old dew marks. This is a family owned business. They had 2 people come and clean my entire place. Their English was limited but the communication was good. The cleaners knew what they were doing and brought all their supplies themselves. 3 hours later I came back to find everything slick and span. All the windows were clean and clear with no streaks. The bathrooms were sparkling with no residue. The kitchen was spotless and the fridge clean inside as well. They got out the stains in the carpets. I needed deep move-out cleaning of a vacant 3500 square foot home with 5BR/4BA and in good condition. These dimensions and all the details were out in the notes when I requested service, including the fact that another company had just cleaned the house but not well so I needed a new service to do the job right. Olena of Bright House Cleaning was one of several people to respond quickly and I ended up choosing them over others because she estimated it would take 3.5 hours for two people to clean the house at what seemed to be the going rate. The two person crew she sent to my home was very nice and worked hard, but they took FOREVER to do only half the job. Five hours were spent upstairs, mostly cleaning two bathrooms. When I complained to Olena, she said it was taking so long because I told them to clean thoroughly. ??? Is there any other way, especially when I requested deep cleaning? Another excuse was that "it's a big house" - which I had already told her when requesting service and before she estimated the time to do the work. The first pair had to leave and Olena said she'd send another 2-person crew at a discount (20% off) to finish the job. Having learned from this experience, I limited them to two hours and asked them to focus on two bathrooms and the kitchen. Also a hard working crew but they were limited in what they could do by the basic supplies they brought with them (a bottle of Fabuloso, vacuum, mop and paper towels). So, I ended up paying for 7 hours at twice the cost of what was initially estimated and had to hire a THIRD service to finish the job, which they did well in just over an hour. Bottom line is that these are nice, hardworking people but not professional cleaners and stocked with only very basic supplies. Olena will probably reply defensively as she has done below in response to other reviews but that was my true experience, so be advised accordingly. Not recommended. Told you all she would get defensive. The response is full of inaccuracies too: (1) Again, most of the five hours were spent in two bathrooms - there are not three bathrooms upstairs ... I think I know the house better and the business owner is just trying to make it seem like more work; (2) "Very unclean house" ... pffft - the house was completely empty and had already been cleaned by the departing tenants as well as another service - just needed a professional cleaning to fix streaks, smudges, etc. before the next tenants moved in; 3) Only the upstairs interior windows were cleaned and NOT on the outside, which would have required a 20 foot ladder or long pole to access them - I hired a professional window washing tor that and (4) I did not "request another team" ... the first pair told me they had to leave and it was the business owner who said she would send two more to "finish the job" which they did not in the two more hours I was willing to give them a chance to do and I had to hire a third service. The "less than $500" was $494.90 for 7 hours and an incomplete job. read more

The cleaners did a good job but the owner is a nightmare and is running a scam. They broke multiple of my blinds and tried to hide them under the bed. THEY DAMAGED MY WOODEN FLOOR BY BLEACHING IT. I told the cleaner that there are a few spots that needed special attention, and later found the floor looking like the image with white spots all over. She told me that she had used bleach on the floor. I had a floor finishing guy come over and he told me that the floor is damaged and needs work. So far the company refuses to pay for any repairing. Definitely would not recommend - the company do not know what they're doing. Also, apparently, even if they're "yelp guaranteed", it will only refund the cleaning cost, rather than paying for any damages. So that's as good as nothing. read more

Very nice people however only half of my apartment was cleaned and not very well, they were slow at first and really rushed towards the end and did not do a good job. At one point I hopped in and started cleaning the floor myself as it was not being done. I had hired this service to clean my apartment. It was very hard to communicate and although I love to chat with new people it was frustrating having conversation made via phone while the job was not being done. I had to go through my apartment and just clean it myself after. I asked them to focus on harder areas like the kitchen and bathroom first and later the floors. I mentioned explicitly the stove, the fridge, and the oven. Later I come to find floors were not included nor was the cabinet of the oven and one of the toilets despite explicitly requesting the oven and bathroom be cleaned first. We hired two cleaners for a deep clean of our home and they did a great job. I had two specific requests to clean the inside of our refrigerator and wipe down the outside of all our cabinets. Both those tasks were completed and spotless. They also thoroughly cleaned all appliances. Ola and Sergei (I hope I got their names right) were very kind. There is a language barrier but I could tell they were earnest and wanted to do a good job and get our requests in as a priority. I was even surprised they did a thorough cleaning of under our bed. Which was a pile of mess and full of pet hair as we have cats who tend to hide and play under our bed. So this was an unexpected part of our home that was cleaned. Speaking of pet hair, they did a great job of getting rid of a lot of it. My one suggestion is to get the crew a better and larger vacuum. If I had known ahead of time I would have offered use of our vacuum for the floors and it may have cut down on some time. They cleaned our place for 3.5 hours so although I felt they did a thorough job, maybe could have saved some time with that. Aside from that. I highly recommend for a deep clean of your home. In 3.5 hours they can't do everything except what is priority, but your home will feel lighter, fresher and look great. We'll definitely hire them again read more

Should have listened to the bad reviews but this was a $500 (plus the cost of replacing our marble) super worst case scenario experience. Not only did they not bring non toxic cleaning supplies like I asked- I'm 7 months pregnant and we just went through a very messy kitchen remodel- they used water to clean our floors which at first I was stupidly okay with but after walking around barefoot my feet are filthy. That's not the worst tho, the cleaners put very wet dishes on an obviously dyed cloth that bled on our BRAND NEW AS OF TODAY MARBLE and we are totally screwed. Communication was super hard. I wouldn't recommend this service and am super regretful we hired them, they clearly do not know what they're doing. These ladies did a terrific job today on my son's apartment. They cleaned two very dirty bathrooms (yes it's embarrasing when you're the mom and thought you raised your son better!), two bedrooms, floors, wiped down furniture, vacuumed and would have stayed to do more but I told them that was enough and I am hoping my son and his roommate hire them to come on a regular basis to keep the place in good shape. I hired them for a service for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom full service. I requested for laundry to be taken off site and brought back upon next service. I also asked if they needed me to provide cleaning supplies and they have they have everything, including checklist and inventory sheet. Come the day of the service only one cleaner comes in with a spray bottle and a towel. NO vacuum, NO mop, and NO checklist or cleaning sheet. The cleaner stated that their boss didn't tell them any of this and I showed them text messages confirming all services. The cleaner then says I can only clean your surfaces everything else you do yourself. Don't trust this service they will blatantly lie to you just to get booked. read more
