Two women arrived and did an outstanding job. I was especially concerned about the showers--one had mold and the other was very dirty--but they handled it completely and left both sparkling. We had two young women come to our house this past week to do a deep clean. It took a long time and they had to come back the next day to finish. It was not cheap. But our house has never looked so clean. I've come to the conclusion that you get what you pay for. I'm going to continue to use these women to maintain the cleanliness. I hired this company to do a move-out cleaning for my rental condo, including a carpet cleaning. They are one of the few cleaning services who also offer carpet-cleaning. The workers showed up when they promised to arrive and communicated with the help of an online translator. The administrator who booked the job and handled my payment communicated with me promptly and clearly via text messages since I was out of town and had to send a representative to meet them in my rental condo. The cleaning service seemed more than adequate, but we had one problem: the team didn't leave fans running or windows open to dry the carpet, nor did they instruct my representative to do so in my absence; as a result, the carpet smelled like mildew when my tenants arrived a couple days later. But Ben of Ecoclean/ALA Cleaning showed great integrity when I asked him to rewash the carpets for my unhappy tenants; he immediately sent over a team who re-washed the carpet and left fans and windows to finish the drying. I appreciated the professional attitude of this company and will probably hire them again in the future (especially now that we all know the importance of spelling out the post-carpet cleaning procedures). It is always refreshing to find service providers who respect their customers as ALA does. read more

We have used a lot of cleaning services through the years in a variety of homes (highrise apartments, small ADUs, large single family homes). ALA is the very best provider we have ever had. They are responsive and easy to coordinate with. Their rates are very fair. Quite frankly, for the quality of work they do, they are an absolute bargain. The two professionals who have worked on our 3-story home multiple times are named Kara and Zhanna. We have had the great fortune of meeting many great cleaners, but Kara and Zhanna are the two nicest, hardest working, and best people we have ever met. They are so good that we almost want to keep them a secret so that they're available next time we need them haha! But people this great deserve to become known. Hands down the best we've worked with. Lastly, I saw a 1 star review below for this business. It noted that the cleaners "didn't speak English," so communication was difficult. If I were you, I would completely disregard this review. We have now worked with ALA and Kara and Zhanna 3 times, and each time they were perfect. Maybe English isn't their first language, but communication is still never a problem, and their work quality is exceptional. 1000% recommended. read more

After leaving a review here, Ben did reach out to me to help address the situation. They sent an "all new team" of cleaners and addressed the areas that were missed and offered to do even more (vacuum again, etc.). I politely declined because I already felt awkward with a new team back to fix those areas for free. While the deep cleaning service did finally get there, I was a bit disappointed that I had to go through all of this to correct it. Not to mention, I was hounded by management to update my review ASAP (as to not drag down their rating). They came by this past Friday; today is Monday (it's not even like that much time has elapsed). Overall, I would consider using them again, and I feel like I did finally get my money's worth, but it involved some drama and coordination to get it to the level I expected. Lots of others seem thrilled with them, so maybe I just had an isolated weird experience - I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt as to not hurt local small businesses. read more

UPDATE: The company owner replied to my wife's review by deflecting blame onto us, claiming our apartment was dirty. Why else would we hire a cleaning service? He has now posted our address as a threat because he lacks the professionalism to take negative feedback. I have reported this company and its owner to YELP for violating the Terms of Service. I might add that YELP supports its customers and their reviews (see picture). We have somehow become extortionists and manipulators for being honest. The picture clearly shows YELP's stance on any owner's attempts to buy positive reviews or manipulate negative ones. We were told we would receive a refund only if we removed our 1-star reviews. I'm genuinely frustrated with the deep cleaning service I received--especially given the cost and their glowing reviews. It's been a few days since we moved in, and I'm still finding areas that were skipped or barely touched. I ended up calling my regular cleaning lady, and she did a far better job in just a few hours. I hired this company specifically because they claimed to use a rotary machine for floors and had strong reviews. They sent a two-person crew to deep clean a 2,600 sq ft house we were moving into, with an estimated time of 5-6 hours. To be clear, the house was in rough shape and needed serious cleaning. I asked that all cabinets be cleaned inside. Right away, I noticed the cleaner wiping cabinets with visible food debris using the same cloth, not switching it out, and not using disinfectant. When I pointed this out, he shook his head as if I was being unreasonable--which was honestly baffling. Throughout the day, I had to repeatedly point out things they were skipping: the oven, the refrigerator (which still had food grime in it), cobwebs on the walls, dirty baseboards, and the stovetop--even after I'd already directed them to clean the oven. I just realized today they never touched the range hood because I forgot to remind them, and they never cleaned it on their own. That speaks volumes. As for the floors, I was told the rotary machine wouldn't be effective because of the texture and that they needed a proper scrub. That was fine--but then they showed up without the right equipment. The only scrubber they had was a tiny handheld one you'd use in a bathtub. After a bunch of back and forth with their manager via calls and texts, I was given two choices: stop the work and wait for them to bring the proper tool, or proceed with the rotary machine anyway, knowing the results wouldn't be great. Since I had movers coming the next day, I had no choice but to proceed. But honestly, showing up to a deep cleaning job without the proper equipment is unprofessional. To their credit, the manager did reduce the final charge by one hour. I appreciated that gesture, but unfortunately, it doesn't make up for the overall poor quality of the work or the time I spent micromanaging the crew. I've used several cleaning services before and never had an experience this poor. This wasn't a deep clean--it was a rushed, superficial job that I had to supervise the entire time. I'd recommend this service if you need a last-minute deep clean and price is not a concern - they were able to accommodate my request in under 24 hours and showed up early. The booking process was very professional, and the women were both lovely. They are deep cleaners. This was my first time getting a deep clean and they really do a more throughout job. This was 3x as much as my usual cleaner, not including tip. Overall, it's a decent option in a pinch, but I'd recommend shopping around if you're looking for a better value. I reached out to them through Yelp, and Merey was incredibly responsive, professional, and friendly. He helped me get set up with an appointment time that worked with my schedule. Two cleaners arrived at the time we had agreed upon and finished cleaning in 3.5 hours (3 bed, 2.5 bathroom house). Besides being efficient, the cleaners were also very professional and polite and wanted to make sure I was happy with the final results -- which I very much was. I requested a deep cleaning and carpet/upholstery steaming service at extra cost. The time estimate quoted was 3/4 hrs for 2 workers, but it took longer; which is fine, but I probably should have curbed my expectations to how much my 2bd apartment can get cleaned in a 5 hour span of time. The team of two was able to prioritize and steam my carpets and couch nicely. My very dirty stove top was also cleaned meticulously. Floors mopped. I really appreciate the work put in. My bathroom and a few other common areas were not able to get the same treatment, tub and tiles still dirty, etc. I understand the workers probably did their best with the time given. I left both a good tip despite certain areas not being deep cleaned. The service overall is quite expensive for the results. Ben was very responsive with my initial inquiry and flexible with rescheduling as well, however the time quoted for services seemed to be underestimated. I believe a true deep cleaning+ steaming would probably have required double the time quoted to me. Regardless, the job got done to a satisfactory degree. I requested a Move In cleaning service, for a 1 bedroom and 1 bath that was about 800 square feet for context. Also my place was unfurnished as I had just signed my lease. Ben was very responsive in letting me know the services included in the move in cleaning. He was very communicative with scheduling and ETA updates. The two women that came to clean the house were very nice. The whole cleaning took about 2 hours and 15 minutes. I had to do some work stuff so I came around and checked on the clean once finished. My main concern was the bathroom, inside the oven, and floors and shelving/cabinets. Overall I was happy with the job and I would for sure welcome that team again. It was a good value compared to other the other move in cleaning services I searched around for. It cost about $95 an hour depending on size I believe and I paid with Zelle. read more

The cleaners did any outstanding job of cleaning and carpet steaming. The carpet was very dirty and now looks like brand new. They worked more than 9 hours and helped remove the cobwebs outside the house as well. It's just really nice to work with someone who goes above and beyond the task. Originally I was not going to leave this review as it seems everyone else has had stellar experiences and the cleaning women themselves were very kind. I think it's potentially more of an admin issue and how they communicate with their team. They gave me an hour window arrival time between 1-2pm and then were an hour late, arriving at 3pm, they let me know they'd be closer to 2:30 but then I had to check in a couple times to get updates. I just moved into a new apartment and was really hoping to get the kitchen and bathroom deep cleaned, even communicated in advance that I was requesting their additional service of cleaning inside kitchen appliances and cabinets as this was my main concern with the new place. When the cleaners got here I told them not to worry about the bedroom, as the bathroom and kitchen were what needed attention. When the cleaners left I checked things out and it was clear that no attempt was made to clean inside the fridge or even behind the handles. I'd understand if this was a time issue as all of the windows were untouched, but they vacuumed the place, the thing I specifically requested was ignored and I was still charged over two hours so I don't think it's that. I'm honestly left a little confused and now tackling this deep clean of the fridge myself. read more

The owner Ben was very responsive. At first a lady was sent to clean my 800 sf condo and spent over 7 hours "cleaning" and left with uncleaned condition. The original estimate was only 4 hours. Ben has been very helpful and said he immediately fired that lady as she has been repeatedly spending extra long hours without doing a satisfactory job. Ben sent another team of two cleaners to finish the cleaning at no extra cost. I hope ALA cleaning will not send out such problematic cleaner to customers again.
