In today's world, it is so refreshing to find an honest business person. The outlets in my two bathrooms and outdoor outlets had suddenly stopped working. I called Kevin, explained where I lived, and told him my problem. He was very familiar with the townhouse development I live in and advised me that there was a reset button for those outlets in my garage and I just had to push it. It worked! If need electrical work, Kevin and his assistant, Austin, are the ones to call. We have a 40 year old mobile home that had a drop ceiling and florescent lights. The ceiling had multiple plastic panels that had to be removed every time we need to change a light....and that was often. We finally decided we couldn't stand this ugly anymore. Kevin came to my house to make the wiring in our main panel and also our garage "code worthy". He gave me an estimate that sounded reasonable and also said it would take around 4 hours. The job took five and a half hours because the panel was in much worse shape than he initially thought....he needed to replace some breakers and more wire than anticipated. I initially called Kevin when I was having an electrical emergency - one of the outlets in my house was making a burning smell and smoke was coming out of it. Kevin made room in his already booked schedule to come out to my house and fix the issue. He quickly replaced the outlet wiring, solved the issue in an efficient manner, and charged me a very fair price considering that it was an emergency call. I later had Kevin and his assistant out to update all the outlets in my 1968 house and put the upstairs furnace on its own circuit. Kevin was recommended by a friend of ours for whom he had done electrical work - she spoke very well of him and his work. After working with him to upgrade our house's service from a very old 70 amp box to a brand new 200 amp box, we found her recommendation to be right on target. Because of rain, scheduling proved to be a concern (really don't want to work on reconnecting house main service in the rain), but we found a clear day and scheduled. Kevin showed up with an assistant at 8am, and by shortly after noon he had pulled out the old box and mast, patched the stucco (the old panel had been embedded 2" deep in the old stucco - it was messy but Kevin made the best of it and did a great job), put up the new mast, installed the new panel, run a new ground line (which required climbing through our very tight crawlspace), and bonded the hot/cold/gas pipes so that the new panel would pass inspection. He also took the time to explain what he was doing and why - it's good to understand the stages of a project in a bit more detail. His pricing was completely reasonable for this job, the quality of work was excellent, and he was personable and pleasant throughout the process. We were pleasantly impressed and plan to work with Kevin going forward as we upgrade additional house and shop electrical. read more
