I went to WC lighting to dick up a ceiling fan. The ceiling in that room was less than 8' tall so the salesperson found a perfect one for my situation. I noticed some beautiful pendant lights and I ended up ordering 3 to replace what I already have. It turned out they were out of stock at the supplier so I went back to pick different ones. I chose 3 options and waited while the salesperson called to confirm if they were in stock. While waiting I noticed a beautiful outdoor wall light and ended up buying 2 of them. We made sure to have bulbs for everything so I'd be set for installation. I asked for election recommendation and was given 2 cards. I called JG Electric and he was able to fit me in pretty fast. I couldn't have been happier with Juan's work. When he arrived I asked if he could also install 2 exterior plugs. I showed him an ugly ceiling light I had in a small alcove. He suggested a recessed light there. I asked if he could change that too. While his guy was busy installing what I had Juan left to buy what was needed for all my add ons. Yesterday the desk lamp went pop! Then dark! Looked online for lamp repair in Walnut Creek. Called Walnut Creek Lighting. Yes! They do repairs in addition to selling beautiful lighting. Took it in after work. Got call this morning that it was ready! (Less than 24 hours!) picked it up and it's good as new! And great customer service from phone, in store when dropping lamp off and today when picking it up. Have a healthy respect for Electricity .. it scares me. So happy they've got my back! Fell in love when I saw this chandelier at the Walnut, Creek Lighting store. The store owner was very helpful and gave me enough stem for the chandelier to continue on the modern aesthetic up to the ceiling mount. He even threw in free LED candelabra lightbulbs! I just came back after a couple of weeks since I got my chandelier and purchased two more additional lights. This time I took in a 50 years + "Ginger Jar" lamp that wouldn't switch off when it was supposed to. We purchased the large majority of all the lighting for our new build at Walnut Creek Lighting. I came to them never having noticed any light and having no knowledge of my style or what I wanted. Each week for several weeks I would make appointments with Kathy and she would patiently guide me to choices I was happy with for each room. She advised on how much light we needed for each room, was endlessly patient when I would pick something and then change my mind and want to start looking all over again, and was so knowledgeable and experienced. I didn't have a designer and Kathy was able to help me enough that I didn't really need one. They all share an email address so if Kathy wasn't there, another member of the team would reply or meet with me. (Thanks to Katy for pinch hitting with me many times!) They have an endless supply of lighting books and companies they work with. As a building professional and tinkerer, I went there to find parts to modify a fixture. Unfortunately for me, they do not sell parts. Too Bad, So Sad. I did find myself mesmerized by a few fixtures as I exited the building and had to go back to inquire. Good thing I did because I noticed an LED lighting display that was what I was about to order from another vendor further away. As it turns out DIODE LED did not list W. C. Lighting as a dealer, though they have the killer DIODE LED interactive display that lets a customer mix, match and compare the different products in the line up. It is a most effective display and was quite helpful in showing my wife the differences in the lighting options. It was quite intuitive and she was able to easily select the lighting temperature she wanted. I, on the other hand, had misread her needs and almost ordered the wrong lights (non-returnable). That display, and Katy, saved my neck. This store is well stocked with items across price points without being crammed full. Lights have enough space to be seen and appreciated without the next light crowding your line of sight. I ordered a specialty LED power supply/dimmer switch last Saturday and I got a call yesterday, Tuesday mid day, that it was ready for pick up. This was too fast for me, I am stoked. This is my GO TO for lighting PERIOD. If they do not have it, they'll help me get it or talk me down off the ledge to a reasonable compromise. read more

I had seen when traveling in Italy a very specific brass mediterranean style floor lamp, with asymmetrical torch-like canisters protruding from its top. We bought a dining light and pendant lights for our island in July 2021. Behrang was very helpful on picking the lights. The lights were ordered and expected to be in a couple of weeks. The pendants had been replaced with a different design. Behrang sent me a picture for approval and ordered them. They came in a couple of weeks after that, but the dining table light delivery date was pushed out several times and as of Jan 15 2022 - still has not been delivered. Behrang was terrific and even loaned us the display until our light came in. When we opened the pendants to install them, they were not what we were expecting. We did not unwrap them or the loaner light and took them back. 6 months later, Behrang was very nice about refunding everything. We will start over.
