From the moment I walked in, I felt more at ease than I ever have at a doctor's office. The facility is bright, clean, and modern -- it doesn't feel clinical or cold, which really helped ease my usual anxiety. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and clearly great at what they do. Scheduling was super simple, and I was able to get in without a long wait, which is such a rare win these days. While I was there, communication was clear and consistent, and I never felt rushed or brushed off. Dr. Diamond really listened. I've been trying to get to the bottom of some ongoing health concerns, and for the first time in a long time, I left an appointment feeling hopeful. I truly feel like I'm in good hands and that I finally have a primary care doctor who's going to help me get answers. I think I've spent 4months or so total time admitted to the place. Maybe more. 99% of the time I get spectacular service and treatment from amazing doctors. Have only had 1 absolute terrible experience with the ultra sound department. That catastrophe alone is why I took a star away. Several cafes, gift shops, cafeterias, and little bodega-type shops are around the entire hospital. Free valet parking. Amazing people. Beautiful artwork and one beyond-awesome garden area full of blown glass art. Going to the hospital to see that area is worth a trip, even if you don't 'need' to be in the hospital. I live in South Sioux City, NE; two hours away. And I have incredibly easy access to health care in my town and Sioux City, IA. But, I come down to Omaha for my major health needs. That's how good this place is. I'm thankful for the doctors here that literally have saved my life. More than once.

The doctor I saw was extremely rude and passive aggressive saying things like "You should feel lucky I let you stay there" to my boyfriend who was in the room with me. I had informed her I have a hard time with needles and she proceeded to pierce into my hand for the test causing it to be in immense pain. It still hurts and I feel she may have pierced into the wrong spot in my hand. Then at the end of it all she tells me that she mainly works as a headache specialist and does "this stuff" (nerve work) on the side. The only plus side from my visit was the people at the front desk were very pleasant and kind to everyone but other than that the rest of my visit to the neurological institute of this hospital was a mess.

The facilities offer locational cryo, like on the swollen parts of her arm outside of the cast. They also have a cryo-room, where one can privately stand, as disrobed as one likes, and thus can chill the whole body in temps that make this winter seem casual. There are other rooms we haven't used yet, so do please contact them about their services beyond my description here. Parking is easy. The location is next to Rockbrook Village, and has two points of entry to the lot. Cost was inexpensive for individual treatments, and even less expensive as package purchases. She has found it to be very helpful, and I'm grateful for anything that makes this damage easier on her!

Much better parking experience than at the main complex. Check-in was efficient and provided comprehensive instructions so my wife could follow my progress while in surgery. I only waited a short time before going to a room for prep. Pre-op support from the techs, nurses and doctors was friendly and efficient, especially from the anesthesiologist. Post operative support was equally high quality and my wife appreciated the surgeons post operative discussion. On a side note, I really love the UNMC electronic medical record system (MyChart). All my surgical notes were in the system by the time I got home, and my post operative prescriptions showed in the system also. My wife was able to pick up my prescriptions from a pharmacy close to home later that afternoon.
