I am very pleased with the service and communication I received for the repair of my dishwasher. I was assigned NEC Technology through my warranty company, and I sent an email to follow up for my appointment and received a response back in 24 hours. The tech came out at the agreed upon date and time window. He was friendly and informative with details about the problem. He said he would ask the warranty company to rush the part after finding out I had an event planned soon. And to my amazement they called and scheduled the repair the day before my event. They came out looked at my fridge and diagnosed the problem,and said we need to order parts. It has been 3 months and they have not been back. You can only communicate through email as their voicemail box is always full. I drove to the business knocked on the door and no answer,looking in the window it looks like it doubles as a daycare. NEC did warranty work on my washer (through Lowe's) . After diagnosis made and part ordered, it took a while to get a status update - office not responsive to emails or calls. However, once part was in, very pleased with technician, Michael, who responded to fix washer. He arrived early in the arrival window. He was extremely courteous and focused on the job. He is a great representative for the company in the field! Set up a repair through GE and it was confirmed with a date and my time was 8am till 5pm (a bit extreme). Tried to contact them directly to find the status of the repair but their mailbox was full. Called back later... full.... called again... full. The notes GE had was that the repair company was waiting on the customer to respond. They were assigned to us for our dishwasher and microwave later but they didn't call with a time for an appointment and just showed up for the 1st appointment for the dishwasher. Luckily we were home. The dishwasher failed again and they were reassigned but still no contact in 5 business days. Samsung cancelled with them. They got assigned for the microwave but no call after 5 days, too. Sent them an email but no response. They only get 2 stars instead of 1 because they actually showed up and fixed it once. read more

Much deserves ZERO stars. Not competent to trouble shoot problems. Diagnosed main board to be the issue. Part was on back order and weeks go by. no communication, part 2 same main board on back order again, no communication. Come back out close to 5pm and can not trouble shoot with out GE support. The employees at the office state they service 1000s of tickets a day and they do not update each customer. So the part that doesn't even work for the issue they diagnose can't be used because GE support isn't open past 4 when they scheduled our apt. No empathy, no apologies, and failure to service issues. Many times you call the numbers listed they do not answer, only by email. Months later we are back to square one and out over $200. DO NOT use this company! read more

The company has to be a front for something because they're impersonating repair technicians. I closed on my new build home in Sept 2023 it came equipped with brand new GE appliances. These embiciles were sent to replace a door on my French door refrigerator that only had a dent! A dent was the ONLY issue. They sent an inexperienced technician to my home and letting him in was the start of a nightmare. Not only did he not change the door he flat out said he didn't know what he was doing! He had broken the flapper on my door and the fridge was leaking water. I had to turn the water line off to the fridge. This was Feb 2, 2024. We are in March and these embiciles still couldn't get the job done right so. Their technicians damaged parts of my refrigeratorthat were perfectly fine. He removed the seal off my door. He stripped screws and broke a spring. I eventually called GE Consumer Affairs department and filed a complaint and let them know how inexperienced and unprofessional this company is. Wish I could give them five below zero stars. I'm the St. Louis area Lowes uses this company to do appliance repairs. We purchased our second refrigerator from Lowe's in less than three years. The second one was just replaced earlier this year. We have not had a freezer in that expensive new refrigerator for almost 2 months since November 6. They supposedly ordered the part later that same week. Now my husband can't get hold of them. they didn't give him one runaround answer here in the Christmas season, when company comes and goes, we have to rely on an old small, deep freeze in our garage. It is not a satisfactory substitute. We do not have the icemaker. I had no choice as my warranty for my washer from Lowes was through them. I had to wait over a week and take off a day for them to come out and then find out that they have to order parts but I can have a Saturday appointment to fix the washer. So that I did not have to take off work again, I took the first Saturday they offered.....now today, I get a call telling me oh, no, we can not come out on Saturday because it is labor day so we can come out Friday. It took me six phone calls to get them to answer the phone and they could care less. Hopefully, this gets fixed this friday and I never have to deal with them again. read more

Terrible. It was impossible to get ahold of them. The old homeowner had them replacing a part to a dishwasher that took so long to get hold of that the house closed and passed on to me. Fine. I don't particularly care. I can be home for an install. Covid. Shipping delays... Whatever. The part/install was still supposed to happen according to the old owner, we just had to call them to set up a time. So... cool, I guess. Well after my husband called then literally 18 times I took over. I called them multiple times the next week and a half and left message to zero call backs. Finally as a last resort I sent them an email TODAY hoping to finally get it taken care of and expressing my frustration. Low and behold I get a call from the exact same number I had called claiming that they never got messages or a call and that they had been trying to contact me. Apparently, entirely due to my fault for not calling them,(ha!) the ticket from the previous owner had expired and the part has shipped back. When I told her I called them they were firm that I hadn't and that their phones are fine. Clearly, from the other reviews, they are not. So now I'm out a dishwasher after waiting multiple weeks from trying to set this up. Pass on this company. Dryer GE is under an extended service warranty with Lowes. Dryer breaks down warranty still effective service company NEC shows up to REPAIR with no parts whatsoever driving a passenger car. Diagnosis the problem says he'll order the parts have to reschedule when the parts come in between five and seven days. I decide I'll try to get the parts myself and find somebody to fix the dryer as we can't wait another week to have the service. When I called to get the part number from NEC I am told "you will void your warranty we will report you to Lowes" I never It's on the service I just wanted to see if I can get it done faster. After finding I couldn't get the parts as easily as I thought I called NEC and was told by text: Hello. Your ticket is closed with us. You informed us you were going to order your own parts and we contacted Lowe's with the report. Thank you. Have a nice day. :)" Avoid this company like they are Covid silent super spreaders. NEC technology Disappointing service and voided my warranty Bought a house with a warranty, NEC Technology was called out to service a dishwasher not a working, turn the power on and error code, no water etc.. Tech looked over the unit indicating lime build up. Didn't address the error code, took pictures and left Warranty company called and said I caused the issue allowing the lime buildup and running inappropriate cleaners. I called Morgan at NEC Technology, she informed me, that is what the tech reported and what they submitted. I asked how could cleaners be ran through a dishwasher that did not come on. Basically they lied either intentionally or by omission. Guess they don't have the knowledge or experience with higher-end appliances. On April 5, I contacted Asurion for a dishwasher repair and was assigned NEC as the service provider. I was told via the phone and an email that NEC would be calling me within 24 hours to schedule a service appointment. They never called, nor had I attempted to call them yet. A couple of days later, a technician literally showed up at my door. I just happened to be off and home at the time. He looked things over, ordered a few parts based off the issues the dishwasher was having and indicated that I would hear back when they arrived. About 2 weeks passed and the same technician randomly called stating he would be at my home within the next 15 minutes. That would have been great had I known the parts were in or actually scheduled the appointment. However, I was commuting to work and even passed him on my way out of town. Not once, but twice NEC scheduled themselves and just showed up. I called them to advise that I wasn't home and rescheduled an appointment for April 26. The same technician responded on the 26th. I won't even go into the horrid details of the attempted repair. Bottom line, the young man had zero experience and was utilizing multiple YouTube repair videos in my kitchen. He spent nearly 3.5 hours trying to put a single part in that should have taken him all of 5-10 minutes to get out and replaced. I was left with a loose dishwasher door that slid apart due to missing screws. The tin access panel that housed the motherboard underneath was improperly reattached and missing about half of its screws. The door seal that was supposed to have been replaced wasn't, as the wrong part was ordered. And the piece de resistance, the dishwasher wouldn't turn back on after a 30 second test prior to his departure. That evening I wrote NEC an email about the repair. Lead technician Glen called me the next day and personally responded out 5 days later. He admitted that his employee had about a month's experience. He indicated that he would reorder the parts that appeared to have failed. He indicated that he would make things right and personally fix it himself. Instead, Glen and his office did nothing but play games for the next 3 months. NEC closed out the repair ticket/case on June 9th. It was reopened by Asurion that same day. When I called NEC to find out what happened, I was told that Asurion must have closed out the case. They further indicated that they would have to reorder the parts and would let me know when they arrived. NEC closed out the case again on June 23. It was reopened by Asurion that same afternoon. Again, I contacted NEC who said they would have to reorder the parts and Glen would come make the repairs when they were in. The case was closed a third time on July 12. This time, however, Asurion reassigned the repair to a reputable service provider in the area. The new service provider was able to assess NEC's failures on July 19. They had the exact same parts ordered and in hand by July 28 and the repair completed in less than 30 minutes on August 2. So much for Glen and NEC making things right ! In less than 2 weeks' time, another company completed what NEC couldn't do over the course of 3 months. I was nothing but nice, cordial and patient with NEC until the day I posted this review. Anyone that operates under such piss poor management and business practices deserves the lowest ratings possible. read more

This company was selected by Samsung for service of my new SAMSUNG dishwasher. The repair was set up online. I tried to contact them for a window of when they would be showing up prior to the scheduled day and got no answer just recording and then gave a number to text or call. The call went unanswered and so did the text. Took off work to be home for the service call, no contact from them. Tried calling, texting and nothing. Called Samsung service and they also tried, no answer to their calls either. I don't think this is a legitimate company and do not use them!! Absolutely horrible company. My home warranty company selected them as the company to come look at my refrigerator. They guy came out, never even pulled the fridge out and said he knew which part needed to be ordered. He left, a week and a half later, I still haven't heard back from them. I noticed some water in my basement and realized the fridge has been leaking for the last week and a half. Now as a result I will half to replace flooring and drywall that most likely wouldn't have been damaged if they thoroughly assessed and diagnosed the problem. read more

I have been waiting to get my Samsung refrigerator repaired for over 2 months now. At first, NEC was quick to come out for my initial warranty service request. Glenn came out to inspect and said the parts would be ordered (french door flap and cooling/drain in back of freezer). This was for two separate issues - the door flap not resetting upon closing the refrigerator and humming/buzzing from the freezer. The former was replaced on the second visit and the other parts were replaced on the freezer, but the latter issue continued. I was told that it sounded like it was the compressor. I was told this would be noted that additional warranty work would need to be approved. I didn't hear anything back about another appointment and when I contacted NEC, was told I needed to request warranty repair from Samsung. The third visit came with a more thorough inspection (he even pulled the fridge out to look at parts on the back and removed a panel to inspect the compressor and fan which is more than Glenn did on the initial visit. Since then, I have been waiting the (now) two months to get the service completed. When I contact NEC (via text message bc you can't talk to a real person there) I'm told they have submitted everything to Samsung and were waiting for approval and the part. When I contact Samsung, they state they have approved the repair service. My second job right now is to be the squeakiest wheel that NEC and Samsung have ever experienced. Now when I try to message NEC the messages will not go through. I've requested a new service company be assigned to my warranty request for repair. UPDATE: After writing this review, NEC has changed their recommendation for repair to say that there is nothing wrong with my fridge. They told this to the Samsung rep who contacted them after waiting over 2 months to get the work done. This is vindictive and unprofessional. If NEC did their work, then they wouldn't have to resort to screwing over the customers. I'm sure they got their money from Samsung for coming out to look at my fridge three times, so there is no loss for them. read more

I only wish i could give negative stars! Let me tell you a story... I need a working dishwasher, mine won't drain the old water. Repairman #1visits and looks under the sink." It's your drain hose." and leaves. 1 week later Repairman#2 shows up with new hose and says,"Repairman #1 was wrong, its this valve." he then changes the perfectly good hose for out with the new one because....fuck-it...and spills all the stinking old water from said dishwasher all over my floor, he then grabs the towel off my stove without asking and wipes up the water, ruining my kitchen towel. He packs up and leaves saying "We will call you tomorrow and let you know when the correct part will be in". Two week go by and I call them, and hear this "your job was down in our books as finished, your dishwasher works right?" Dorian, Worst service on two ice makers I have ever seen! He left the ice makers in worst shape.....he even broke the ice make door on top of that! It took him 6 months of many many visits to fix two ice makers , at the end he recognized what a lousy job he'd done so he promised to refund me my money.........he never did and he stopped answering my phone calls! So, in sum, Dorian is incompetent, fraudulent and a liar! What more could you ask for in one repair guy.
