Bowl of chicken pot pie soup
    Stefan S.

I came to meet a friend for happy hour and we had some Old Bay wings and they were delicious. Our original bartender and server, Liv, was amazing! She was super efficient, even though she had many customers and many orders both drinks and food. It was unfortunate that she went off shift halfway through the time we were there because the other bartender who took over was terribly unattentive and not a very good listener. After finishing our wings I ordered fish and chips, and when they came out which was pretty quick, one of the pieces was not cooked well enough and it also tasted like ammonia. I had Liv take it back. Then Jason, the manager came out to check with me on the issue and I told him that not only was it not fully cooked but it also tasted like ammonia. Not wanting to get sick, I opted for a bowl of the chicken pot pie soup. And it was quite amazing! I could have gotten some crust with it but I opted for just the soup. It was creamy and very filling and had lots of pieces of chicken and vegetables in it. It was a good choice. I finished off with some of their funnel cake dessert fries with chocolate and raspberry sauce. They were delicious. All in all, a good meal, downgraded one star because of the poor service by the second bartender. I don't even recall her name because I don't think she told us. Liv and Jason were wonderful. I look forward to going back again in the future and I do recommend a visit here.

So from the outside it's has another strip mall decor but in the inside it's a proper mini Irish pub. It has the feel of an Irish beer drinking joint. Tried the stuffed eggs ... pretty decent. Had some Guinness... always always great. The everyday specials looked wonderful... will be back for their Friday Fish Fry. The bartender (Jason) was really cool, welcoming and friendly which is such a bonus. Yeah strip mall Irish Pub ... I'm in!! Will be back

It has a comfortable, slightly dim-lit, bar vibe, with multiple tv screens. Neither of us wanted "traditional" Irish fare - hubs ordered a cheeseburger with fries. He really enjoyed the burger and I can confirm that the fries were delicious. I ordered quesadillas - couldn't resist just seeing how they did them. They were quite flavorful and the house-made salsa was just spicy enough. Great place for casual date night or just catching up with friends.

There is lots of seating in the outside patio as well. They do a lot of themed events almost every night = burger night, trivia..! There are free line dancing lessons offered by a cool instructor. The dance floor is a pretty good size and fills up. The service was poor- I had to hunt down our server Cory three different times. He kept forgetting the lemons for our salmon dish and waters despite his saying lemons coming right up. We asked his assistant who brought out the entrees and salads for the same - he came back after 6 minutes with a tiny slice of lemon for 4 people, then ran away! The food was average. I ordered a bowl of the Potato Leek soup for $8 and was looking forward to it. Out came a bowl maybe a 1/3 full ( literally five soup spoonfuls). I asked Cory if that was a mistake or a kid's portion and his hilarious response was classic, " Oh we are precise. We measure the soup with a serving ladle and only put this much so it won't splash or spill." The salmon add on (for $10)on the house salad was so so. I was on the floor cracking up. $32 plus tip average per person and I was still hungry. I will not be back for the food. Definitely for the dancing in my new Stetson El Presidente Premium 100X Hat. It looked like fun.

The staff was exceptional from start to finish - welcoming, attentive, genuinely friendly, and the kind of hospitality that makes you want to stay awhile. You can tell the team takes real pride in creating a warm atmosphere instead of just turning tables. The food, drinks, and overall energy were fantastic, but what really stood out was how authentic and comfortable the experience felt. Places like this are hard to find anywhere, let alone outside a major city. I've spent plenty of time in LA dining all over the place, and this spot genuinely hangs with the best neighborhood pubs and gastropubs out there. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in the area. Special thanks to Joey, tanner and Harley! -phil

I ordered French toast off the menu. I enjoyed listening to the Irish band rehearsing. My only complaint was our waitress. Emily seems a little gruff with us. She wasn't nasty, but wasn't overly friendly either. When I first arrived I was greeted by a blonde waitress, I didn't catch her name, she was very nice and I told her I was waiting for my group to arrive, she checked with the manager to see if it was okay if I waited. She offered to get me something to drink. One of the members of my group doesn't eat in pubs too often, he said the noise level was a bit much for him. I wasn't really bothered by it much. I might visit again in the future.

Both visits I had were excellent. They have a proper Irish draft list plus some others, and they pour a nice pint. I had bangers and mash my first night and the sausage was some of the best I've had. There was a good mound of mash and the gravy was dark and rich. I appreciated the onions added on too. Night two I got shepherd's pie and was quite happy. Rich sauce and mildly charred mash on top made for a fine meal. I'd gladly order the sausages again and would love to come back for the fish and chips. Worth noting: the service is excellent. Anne Marie is a saint dealing with...err...serving various personalities. Plus there was World Cup all over the TVs. The vibe is excellent Irish pub. I really hope we can go back again. She Said: I was happy that He agreed (happily agreed) to return to The Celtic House because I would have been bummed to miss out. I had the chicken pot pie which is darn near impossible for me to resist. Outside of my own and my dear Aunt Peggy's, this was some of the best pot pie I've had. The gravy was the right thickness, the chicken wasn't over cooked (which is hard to pull off in this format), and the puff pastry on top was light and fluffy but with enough oomph to it to hold up to the gravy. The only thing I'd change was more veggies in the dish, but that's my personal preference. As he noted, the service was terrific and I appreciated the aplomb with which our bartender managed her patrons. Potty Points: No trip to the potty for me on this visit!

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

My husband is a die-had Arsenal fan and was overjoyed by the chaotic bar scene he encountered as soon as he entered. The City + Arsenal game had the entire bar packed with fans from both sides pulling up random seats wherever there was a free space. We came a bit late into the game but found a seat in a quieter area of the restaurant that still had good television access. With the dreary rain outside, it felt like we had settled right in a proper British pub! Food wise: - For my husband: Wings were generous, grilled, and delicious with interesting flavors - For me: Fish and chips were light, flakey, and came with some of the best house cut fries I've ever had. - For the kiddos: Although they had a kids menu, my daughters decided to split some pancakes (basically crepes with raspberries and cream sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Portions are more than generous and the managers were bustling around, talking shop, and thanking everyone who walked through their door. We will definitely be back!
