Went here on a whim to try something bar food. The aesthetic of this place is nice and the service was quite good. I would say this is an above average bar scene and likely would have been even better during a sporting event. My one downside is the burger was just okay. Not really my style of burger though so I cannot complain too much. read more

I came to meet a friend for happy hour and we had some Old Bay wings and they were delicious. Our original bartender and server, Liv, was amazing! She was super efficient, even though she had many customers and many orders both drinks and food. It was unfortunate that she went off shift halfway through the time we were there because the other bartender who took over was terribly unattentive and not a very good listener. After finishing our wings I ordered fish and chips, and when they came out which was pretty quick, one of the pieces was not cooked well enough and it also tasted like ammonia. I had Liv take it back. Then Jason, the manager came out to check with me on the issue and I told him that not only was it not fully cooked but it also tasted like ammonia. Not wanting to get sick, I opted for a bowl of the chicken pot pie soup. And it was quite amazing! I could have gotten some crust with it but I opted for just the soup. It was creamy and very filling and had lots of pieces of chicken and vegetables in it. It was a good choice. I finished off with some of their funnel cake dessert fries with chocolate and raspberry sauce. They were delicious. All in all, a good meal, downgraded one star because of the poor service by the second bartender. I don't even recall her name because I don't think she told us. Liv and Jason were wonderful. Ehhhhhhhh. Don't completely hate it but also don't love it entirely. Weird energy from many of the dudes there but many of of them are also chill. Wish it was more women. Ratio is usually 5:1 men to women here. Extreme lack of diversity as well I chose a karaoke song and the karaoke kJ had the nerve to interrupt my song in the beginning because I said my song was " only for the female gaze"....The female gaze is an idea that art is viewed from the perspective of a women. He shouted into the mic "don't say that again " and he got personally offended afterwards when I went up to him to ask what did he say, him saying "this was an all inclusive bar"...like what? Of course an insecure man would say that Lol gtfoooooo. Let me express myself. Nothing I said excludes anybody. It's giving "all lives matter" type energy. Telling the crowd this song centers women does not exclude men, it's quite literally the artistic lens of the song itself. He was reaching so hard no matter how you spin it. Before I went up, he had the nerve to also audit my song for "explicitness" and it felt v racially charged when nothing was explicit about the other song I did. He interrupted my song twice!!!!!!! Karaoke is an art form and is all about a welcoming atmosphere and it just lacked that tonight. Karaoke is supposed to be a fun experience, not one where you are critiqued and scolded, especially when you don't fit the mold of their average customer (white men over 35). Energy is everything and I was not a fan this place. Also their typical song choices are trash unless you like niche country songs which were like 95% of the songs and people just stand around. read more

So from the outside it's has another strip mall decor but in the inside it's a proper mini Irish pub. It has the feel of an Irish beer drinking joint. Tried the stuffed eggs ... pretty decent. Had some Guinness... always always great. The everyday specials looked wonderful... will be back for their Friday Fish Fry. If you have never been here - go. If you were here years ago and it was inconsistent ITS CHANGED. Doug the current owner took a hang out that had a bad kitchen and put processes in place to improve it. The food is now good all the time. Burgers, fish and chips, wings and specials very good. Sub out fries to the steamed veggies - they are amazing. Alcohol is fairly priced. Ample parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Locals are friendly. Web site is updated regularly. They even have Euchre twice a month. read more

I was going to wait until our second visit to this restaurant before writing a review. Our visit was yesterday - St. Patrick's Day - the one day a year that an Irish Pub should shine. Sadly, this one was dull and terribly overwhelmed. For an Irish Pub, St. Patrick's Day is the one day a year that it should be at its absolute best. Finnegan's failed at every level. There was no indoor seating, so we were seated outside. Okay, the weather was perfect for outdoor eating even though we sat in the hot sun with no shade. So how our food got delivered before any other nearby table, even though we were the last ones seated, was a mystery. The table to our right never got all their food, even as we were paying our bill and leaving. The table to our left got food from many other tables that they didn't order and didn't want. As a cook, I know that corned beef is sliced thin for a sandwich and thick for an entree such as corned beef and cabbage. Finnegan's had it backwards. Fortunately, the flavor was good. However, when you ask for mustard in an Irish pub, the last thing you expect to get is French's Yellow crap that you normally wouldn't even put on a hot dog unless it was for a five-year-old. The cabbage was the cheap stuff - white, no green - but there was plenty of it on the plate. Twice as much as the meat. One small potato and two large onions. Onions? The rest of the menu was interesting and we're still tempted to go back, even after the epic failure of yesterday's lunch. All I can say, is try Finnegan's on ANY day other than St. Patrick's. read more

Would not expect very good food from a bar/pub but this is the exception. The service is very good as well. Friendly servers and manager check in. Ambience is typical bar/restaurant, casual but comfortable. Food prices are better than average in this area. Food choices are better than average as well. My first time coming to Finnegan's; on a date night with my wife. We came here the day after Christmas and they were understaffed. Upon arrival we weren't seated but told to have a seat wherever we wanted. There's a cozy sitting area a few steps up and the table we wanted was still dirty from the previous party sitting there so we had to get a servers attention to have it cleaned. Finnegan's is a great place to come drink and watch the game with friends or have lunch/dinner with family. The bar is big and there a bunch of Big TVs for your viewing pleasure. Each night they have something going on; Texas hold 'em, karaoke and trivia depending on the night. They have a happy hour 4-8pm everyday and we came between these hours to experience it. Who doesn't like to get a good deal on food and drinks. After viewing the menu we asked about the HH beers and a couple of the beers weren't available and the price didn't match what was written on the menu. We ordered chicken tenders with tots, a fried onion ring basket and a full slab of ribs. The tenders were crisp and juicy and the tots were savory and soft. The onion rings were disappointing because these was a bunch of the breading and little onion so the proportion was off. The onion ring batter is spicy so be mindful when ordering them if you have a sensitivity like my wife does. The ribs come out on this huge impressive platter and could easily feed 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. They come with seasoned fries (old bay seasoning) and slaw. The old bay has spicy seasoning in it so we asked for them to be switched out for tots which aren't spicy. We opted for the honey bbq flavor because that was the only sauce that wasn't spicy but you have other options. read more

Terrible service threw away two entire drinks didn't even respect the five minute warning that I was given (gave me it at 11:52 and drinks were thrown away at 1:55, why woulf I even order them if you told me I had 3 minutes to drink them?!?) It is a good place however the reviews are spot on that say the service is slow. Several times you come in and wait for wait staff to acknowledge you are seated and waiting. On one occasion I had company from out of town and it was off putting. Needs better staffing. read more

There is a large bar area and a lot of various appetizers yet I wouldn't hesitate taking a child for dinner. They have many options to suit just about everyone. If I could give a -2 review I would. Worst rubin's we've ever eaten! On a Tuesday evening at 7:00 we ordered 2 rubin's one with chips the other with onion rings for a $2.50 up charge. For the $2.50 up charge we received only 3 onion rings. The rubin was cold, no sauerkraut on the sandwich and the meat was tough like rubber. Only thing that was half way decent was the rye bread. We ate at Finnegans Grill and Irish Pub for the first time 1/2/20 and I'm glad we did. They have a nice open floor plan and it's easy to see all the games playing. A dart game was in progress too, which was interesting to watch. Our waitress was friendly and quick as she hustled around the floor. She was attentive without being overbearing and asked questions when we weren't clear. I was intrigued by many items on the menu but reined myself in and went for something Irish-like. My husband had the bangers and mash, I the fish. Both entrees were delivered hot and our waitress followed up with us, after we had time to try the food, to ensure our needs were met. Good timing on her part, and timing is everything. We had a nice evening and we will return. read more

Came here on a humble and was very pleasantly surprised. The server (mike) was very nice and gave us some good recommendations. I knew I wanted the chicken pot pie which was very good and flavorful, I prefer the pie crust version, but the flaky puff pastry was good when you mix it fully into the pie. We also had the grilled shrimp which was flavorful. Also got the Mac and Cheese with smoked Gouda with jalapeños and it was very tasty and flavorful. read more

A few days ago one of my girlfriends wanted to meet here to grab a few drinks and catch up. This place gives me Bar Rescue vibes. I need to contact Jon Taffer to come and save this place. OK so first things first, we walked in and stood at the front for a few minutes, unbeknownst to us there's a sign that says seat yourself. Once we realize this we go to a booth by the window. Our waiter comes over and the whole time seems to be either new or confused or just plain forgetful. He didn't seem to know much except the specials. He just gave me the iPad to look through the options myself and didn't seem to really know too much. My girlfriend ordered a Malibu Baybreeze and that is not at all what she got. If the bar or the bar tender didn't know what went in the drink they should've simply asked. The food was mediocre as was the service. Everything was slow from getting the drinks, to the food, to even getting plates and silverware to eat. I have no intention on coming back here unless Jon Taffer is there to help them. I understand mistakes are made in this business but it is what you do when they are made. This is not the first time I have placed an order and when I went to pick it up the order wasn't even started. Tonight was no different. We placed our order and went it to pick it up and it wasn't ready. They hadn't even started cooking the order which one order was wrong. We were thanked for waiting an hour for our food. I can assure you that I will never order food from Finnegans again. There are way to many good restaurants with excellent customer service in the area to deal with this poor service. read more

I've been a regular at Finnegan's for years. But lately I noticed they have really upped their game. More food choices. Healthy options. Or if you chose a cheat night on your diet-there are those options too. Something for everyone. (My 10 year old son loves the grilled steaks.) Now this is a sports bar! After picking up a friend, we wanted burgers and wings. Basically, bar food. My expectations were blown out of the water. This place is located in a very large strip mall, and it's a large place. There are TVs EVERYWHERE. And to add to the awesomeness, the have the sports select audiospeakers, so you can choose what tv you wanna hear. The food: Burgers were cooked to medium and juicy! We got the bbq burger and the swiss mushroom. Honey bbq wings were SO GOOD! The wings were plump, and not overcooked and dry at all. Service was great considering I saw only one guy running around the entire time. And for thursday night football, it wasnt crowded at all. Would definitely recommend people come here!! read more

So I've waited a week since this incident in order to let the situation completely resolve. I am still shocked and disappointed with how Finnegans handled this situation. Let me just start by saying I have been coming here since October 5th, 2013. That's 5 years of patronage. I've always enjoyed the food, service and good times however the way that this situation was handled by Finnegans ownership has me concerned with safety of the establishment. Last Thursday, I was here having a few late drinks with my girlfriend. I left her for a minute to grab a drink, and some creepy old man feels up her leg and when she shrunk away, got closer and rubbed her back. Gross. I confront the guy and tell him that I expect him not to touch her again and he attacks me. He swung at me once and tackled me to the ground. I reacted by calling the police, like any normal person would. I was told that the CCTV footage would be reviewed and that I would have an opportunity to press charges. Great, this predatory and violent person should have consequences. I didn't get contacted for nearly 72 hours after the incident. Turns out finnegans doesn't have functional cameras. That is extremely concerning, how in the world can you operate like that?? The police said this makes it considerately harder to take action. Okay, that really sucks. In addition, the owner of finnegans told me that without conclusive evidence, they won't take any action. As a result from finnegans not having functional cameras, the person that attacked me will not see charges and he will continue to go to finnegans, possibly repeating these behaviors to other people. To say the least, my girlfriend and I will not return to this unsafe environment. In short, I was assaulted by a patron of finnegans and due to the negligence of the establishment, I am unable to get justice. They'll backlog this, but at least somebody will read it. read more
