The salon is well designed, has appealing decor and a delightful feel. We were greeted by a welcoming, friendly, and helpful woman at the desk (who I presume is the salon owner). She made it easy to get my daughter in for a hair cut today. Today, Ella did an awesome job...my daughter's cut and dutch braids with hair charms came out fresh and fun! My daughter is thrilled with the results!! Not only is Ella a wonderful stylist, she has a personality to match. She is inviting, engaging, sweet, and listens well. I asked for a simple, one-length cut, which should be basic, yet it was not executed well despite her claiming 16 years of experience. She spent a lot of time talking and trying to make it seem like I, the customer, was wrong or didn't understand hair. If the result had matched all that confidence, fine. But talking a lot and then failing to deliver is not good customer service. I'm really disappointed and now have to pay someone else to fix the uneven, poorly done work on my hair. Sammi took it from that to a really lovely beige blonde, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. The correction took about 4 hours and ran roughly ~$120/hour, which felt fair given how much work went into fixing it. I waited to post this until it had grown out some, because that's the real test of a good color job, and it's held up seamlessly. No weird line where the old color meets new growth, no brassiness creeping back in. That tells me she really got the formula right, not just a quick fix that looks good for two weeks. If you've had a color disaster somewhere else, Sammi's your girl. So glad I found her!
