I requested Ned Stevens to come out to inspect my gutters as they were not draining properly and I was getting a large wet spot on my exterior that would remain far after everything else dried, causing me to be concerned about water leakage into the exterior. They arrived and started by dumping large amounts of water into the gutter which made the issue worse. I asked the employee if they could actually look and see what the problem was like I truly needed, and they said no. I've been looking into getting this issue fixed through other companies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I told her that I no longer wanted to do business with them she immediately went into a non-stop sales pitch so I just hung up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They don't schedule service dates, just rough estimates of date periods.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only notification of service you'll receive is a text that happens about a minute before the crew arrives.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think they do this to prevent people from cancelling the service call. Ridiculous![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ned Stevens has become, yet another, subscriber model business. This is not my first rodeo with them. During their service, their crew saturated our employee's battery-powered blower and miter saw with water as a direct result of how they performed their work. The tools were actively getting soaked. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When our employee asked the crew to stop so he could move the equipment out of harm's way, they did not stop the work that was causing the damage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The blower was visibly covered in water (we provided photos taken at the time) and while the saw was quickly moved inside and dried to minimize harm, the damage had already occurred. The end result was that both tools lost their warranty coverage, confirmed by the manufacturer, due to water saturation. Although the tools still function for now, being left without warranty protection on expensive equipment is unacceptable, especially when the damage was completely avoidable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The company was provided documentation and a clear explanation of what happened, yet chose not to address or resolve the issue in any way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mistakes happen. Ignoring them and refusing accountability is the real problem here. ** DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY ** Without a doubt- the worst service company I have ever encountered !! I was lied to/ promised work was not done/ crew was ignorant, rude, and did not care even a little bit about our home or what we wanted done. Were at my home less than 15 minutes - after slamming ladder on gutter and damaging it- they poorly cleaned (1) 6" gutter and then said they were all done cleaning the gutters and were leaving. - Never touched the other 5 gutters and never attempted to secure the gutter where slightly loose as promised when job was booked. Gutters are about 5 years old and I was told I would need new gutters!! I called office while they were there and after speaking with office- the crew got a ladder off their truck- again slammed onto gutter and damaged it and banged a loose gutter nail with the butt end of a drill !! - and then left. ([[HIGHLIGHT]]I brought out some ice water for the men- which they never even said "thanks" - which they promptly threw on my driveway as they left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a phone call shortly thereafter asking me if I wanted a quote for new gutters!! I called for them to clean my gutters but it seems they were only interested in getting me to get a new gutter system! And yes the gutters are not draining like they have been cleaned! Ned Stevens now Ned Services is a gutter cleaning company - be VERY careful contracting them as the constantly increase prices without getting prior approval! My cost has increase three times in 18 months without approval. They do a "fair job" at best! They recently cleaned my gutters but left all the debris in the drain spouts so they are now clogged, Another company who grew too fast but forgot it was long term customers who built their volume BUT they are happy to lose a customer who complains about the billing practices and only fair service. I am terminating service with them and contacting the State Attorney General of PA for fraudulent billing practices as well as the BBB. If you don't check your credit card statement, you will never know that you increase your cost without approval. read more

Hired them to clean our gutters and said they said it would be two weeks. Ok busy time of year. Three weeks go by and no call no show. I called them, they showed up, did a crappy job and damaged my roof. Never again read more

We hired Ned Stevens to clean our deck. They arrived at our home without notice and damaged our deck in the process of cleaning it. We have placed repeated phone calls to their customer service department and have not received a response or follow up. I would not recommended using them. They are not a company that stands by their product. Save yourself a major headache and use another company. read more

Such a disappointment. Poor communication / promises they did not keep / lots of excuses. I scheduled this company to tune up my gutters and I explained that I have a 100-year-old, 3-level house. The scheduler said they'd be out within a week. Two weeks went by and so I called. The person who answered said she could see that I was scheduled for gutter cleaning (no, I wasn't) and said that the original scheduler should have never told me they'd be out in a week.. Hmmm, ok. So, another week or so went by and I tried to call again. After sitting in hold for about 20 mins, an automated message told me that they were now closed and disconnected my call. Finally, their workers came out yesterday. They did not ring the bell or announce that they were here. They just stuck a ladder on the side of my house and then left a few minutes later. Apparently, they don't service my type of gutter but nobody said ANYTHING or explained what was happening. When I called, the supervisor was defensive and offered me a discount on gutter cleaning.
