The only reason i dont give it a 1 star is because the guy is really trying but after the fast one they pulled with the launch fee. Here on vacation from Tucson with our family, we were all boating in the Needles area and stopped in to refuel, Robert the attendant was very helpful and polite with our family, he recommended a few areas of interest for us to see while we were in town. Highly recommend this Marina for their store and fuel station, and if you stop in be sure to say hi to Robert, he's a wealth of kindness here in Needles, a great asset to the Marinas business too I'm sure! read more

Omg!!! Thank god this place is here. We went up to Laughlin (thinking we could dock there...Nope). Maybe there is a place, but we were sick of asking around. We headed back down to pirates cove and needed gas. Badly. Robert at Needles serviced us excellently!!! We had a service charge of $10 for after hours and it needs to be cash. The sign is posted to forewarn you, so no complaints please!!! All you have to do is call the number for after hour service and bam...Robert was there, polite, courteous, and a joy to talk to. This place blows. They charge $15 per day of access. That means if you launch your boat on a Friday and pick it up on a Saturday, it costs 30 bucks. The marina is also so shallow everywhere I now need a new prop. read more

Love this resort!! They have a wonderful heated pool and hot tub that is open all year. Bunco, bingo, cards are offered. The sites are adequate and provide a worn picnic table. Over a dozen washers @ $1.75 and plenty of dryers @$1.25. They need to add 4 of those rolling baskets to get your clothes from the washers to the dryers otherwise it's a drippy business. The laundry room was very clean with 3 huge folding tables. Full hook-ups. No wi-fi but sold per day. We used my hot spot and had no problems but I understand the wi-fi u pay for isn't great. Ask around because they are under new owners and many changes. Right next door to an 18 hole golf course which just LOWERED their rates. Right on the river. Dog park is grass with a low fence and no gate. Needs a gate because as soon as I took the leash off, my dog was gone. Although many "dog on leash" signs abound which provide poop bags, the unwritten rule is that dogs can be off leash in the grassy areas as long as you can control your dog and pick up their poop. Dogs are always leashed within the park however fenced areas for smaller dogs at your site are ok. We paid $36/ night in Jan. We chose a site on an old sort of paved parking lot because it is flat and near the hot tub. Other sites are sandy. We'll be back next year for a longer stay. read more

We had been coming here for at least 20 yrs for every Father's day weekend with other 10-12 families with us. We had camped and rented a cabin. We enjoyed every single time we stayed here until this year. There are few reasons. First of all, they raised the prices significantly for hook ups and cabins per night and we did not see any improvement in the property. In fact, they made it less attractive because they cut down most of the trees by RV spots that give us shades as well as the picnic tables for each RV spots and on the grass area in the back. In addition, the 30 amp hook ups in the back area were very insufficient and unreliable. They keep popping, leaving our RVs super hot. The maintenance crew weren't very helpful either so we had to figure it out ourselves. The shower rooms definitely in the last of their list to fix or something because the shower heads are still all broken, and there's always broken toilets or not functioning sink every single year. (Those little things should have been addressed when they decided to raise the price for "renovation".) Cabin wise, no changes! Except for the little tiny TV which you need to bring your own source of media because there's no cable and only local news are on, they added. They also advertised WiFi connection as addition to their features after the renovations but yet they didn't have it functioning when we were there. AND, they're not FREE. We didn't really care to pay for it. They just didn't have it. Oh, they added a coffee maker but it was sandy, dusty, with old coffee in it. Also, we called them ahead of time before check in to let them know that we were on our way and to make sure that the cabin was ready for us, but GUESS what? The AC was still off as well as the tiny fridge in the cabin. So, we had to unload our stuff out of the truck into the hot cabin in 100 degrees weather! LASTLY, what we did not REALLY appreciate was the response we got from the manager SHELLY after bringing all of these to her attention. Her response to us was, " Oh it sounds like you had a terrible experience with us, you should probably consider looking somewhere else to stay." WE WERE SHOCKED! After over 20 yrs of loyalty and fun experience and even bringing new people with us, This was her response??!! Oh We did plan on going somewhere else after that! I GUESS TIME TO TRY OTHER PLACE WITH OUR WHOLE GROUP!! We won't be coming back here and won't recommend it to anyone. *It must be the new management* read more

warning do not use this ramp it will damage your boat and car!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this ramp is not maintained under the water! concrete is missing and your trailer will end up tilting to one side due to all the dirt under the water. the owner is selling the park,and doesn't care about maintaining the ramp. it damaged our car due to the ramp under the water 1000's in repairs. needles marina does not care what it cost you for damages. we also know of 5 other boats that were damaged at this ramp. the owner will not even give you his insurance to help pay for damages use jack smith ramp its maintained,and will not damage your boat or car. we have been going to this park for 40 years, but now its all about money that they don't want to spend to keep it maintained, but are willing to charge you $15.00 to launch..... don't use there ramp you'll be sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! walk the ramp under the water even a 15 foot boat could barley get launched without going to one side with boat in the air....... read more

Its been about a year and a half since I have stayed here. They are very friendly and the park itself is in a very convenient location. We have not been back because the prices here are a bit steep compared to some of the other parks and campgrounds in the area. They do have bathrooms and pretty clean showers if you are tent camping or whatnot. read more

I stayed there in my 26 foot class A RV and am also an owner of a smaller park in a different part of the state. We arrived just after Memorial Day weekend and the place was deserted. I mean barren. It was very clean, the whole place looked very nice. It was perfectly level and easy in/out. The circular layout where we parked is a little odd to look at from the drivers seat but not hard to negotiate.. The waterfront is awesome, the lagoon is as well. We only stayed one night but it's quiet, but that's due to being largely empty, I had the place almost all to myself. It's a good size park, lots of amenities like a nice pool and spa, laundry facility, group areas, dog run that is fenced in. I'm not a boater so I cannot really judge those facilities, but they did look well maintained. The place is well lit at night. It was very level and had no problem getting set up. One thing, and this is NOT the fault of the park: If you use your iPhone to navigate in, it will tell you to get off at "J Street"(if you are on Westbound I40) and to drive UNDER the railroad tracks.....DON'T take this route, look at the alternate which takes you over the tracks down the road, the track underpass only has an 8' clearance. Went to the marina today for gas. We were in line behind a platoon boat before it closed. When it was our turn for gas, the worker he said, "you didn't tell me you needed gas. (Is he kidding - we were waiting in line behind the pontoon boat.) We are closing so it's after hours and you need to pay me in cash and give me an extra $10." I only had $24 cash and if he took ten, we would only get $14 of gas. His response was, "you are going to have to go get gas at Pirates." He was a total jerk. We ended up breaking down and getting stuck on the river. With everything that has happened on the river lately, you would think he would at the very least do his job and maybe, I don't know, provide a little customer service. This isn't the only "game in town" and we definitely won't give them our business in any capacity in the future. read more

We have been coming here for 20+ years. Love love love this park.. The staff is nice and helpful. The park is well kept. The showers/bathrooms are large and cleaned every morning. The boat dock has plenty of lights. They can even launch your boat for you if you dont have a way. They do have a pool and jacuzzi, but why would you swim in a pool when you have a crisp cold river... The have a small store and a laundry room. Every trip we go we meet a family from some other country. We always have a great time.... We have gone just as a couple and with small, medium and a large group. Have never had a problem.. read more
