8/25/26-8/26/26 8/25/26 I received a call from Sean…read moreinforming my elongated cushion ran into a snag when replacing. The stone itself was much taller and needed height adjustment. This would need gold to supplement. Fortunately, I had a ring resized two sizes down so had some extra gold material that he used for a trade in. Then they were able to add some height for the new stone. 8/26/26 I checked in with Sean to see if the ring was ready. He informed me he was not in the store today but the rings should be ready to pick up. I called the store to confirm it was ready for pick up. When I received my rings, I was simply over the moon. My missing stone from my eternity band had been replaced. Looked like its old self again. My cushion was now resized so now I can wear it without falling off. Last but not least, my problem child elongated cushion stone replacement- it is absolutely beautiful with the new stone. I could see a shadow on one side where the added height was and the inner ring lining is now polished vs before it was matte. I'm not going to be too picky about this one due to them having to work on a ring that I had custom made in India. The fix is not Going to be perfect. Different techniques for revisions etc. skill will be different than the original designer. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience here. I feel confident in returning in the future for my jewelry repair needs.

I knew of Nick's since I am in this shopping center frequently, so we stopped by. The front door is always locked, and you press the doorbell to be buzzed in. Nick was very friendly, and was more than happy to measure her wrist. When we told him what it was for, he gave us quite the education about purchasing online medical bracelets, and that many of them use hollow gold. When we showed him the one we were looking at, he said there's no way its solid gold at that price. Hollow bracelets scratch and dent more easily, and once dented can break. You don't want to skimp on something that might save your life someday. Nick showed us a big catalog of medical bracelets with various metals and styles. She found a solid gold one that one she really liked, so I put down a deposit and had it ordered. A little over a week later, it came in and we went to pick it up. He included the engraving for free and gave me about a 15% discount off the retail price. I'm assuming I probably could have gotten a bigger discount if I negotiated, but I felt he earned it given how he saved us from originally making a poor decision. If she decides it is a little too loose on her wrist, he said to just come back and he will remove as many links as needed for free. It looks and feels like high quality piece of jewelry, and it was only a few hundred dollars more than the one we were going to originally purchase online. It is always nice to make a purchase in person were you can ask questions and get a feel for the business. Nick's gets flying colors.

She asked me probing questions like where I got my ring and whether my diamond as lab or mined. I felt uncomfortable, I wish I just left at that point. I gave her some specifics for what I was looking for, and every type of request was just turned down or "yeah.. I'm gonna have to go on the back to check" in the most reluctant way. She finally let me try on a few different rings. I asked her if she has any knife edge rings, to which she paused. I wasn't sure if she knew what they were, I wasn't even sure if that's the right term for it, but she replied back so condescendingly like "I know what that is" with a stern face. Relax, I wasn't questioning anyone's knowledge or authority. After maybe 5 minutes of me trying on different rings, she started talking about how her time is precious and the owners are paying her for her time spent with customers. Am I not a customer?? And mind you, I was the ONLY customer in the store. I almost wanted to stop her right there and point that out. What else is the owner paying you to do, if not to help me? Just stand there and wait around? So no, I will never be back and would never recommend anyone else to come given the service here. They treat you like a dollar, and if it doesn't look like you're "worth it" to spend time with, then they just toss you away. If the owner is training his associates to treat people this way and hiring someone like her, my guess is the owner is twice as shallow. Come here if you want to be treated like a dollar sign instead of a human being.
