The best part is that a majority of the new items are all locally sourced and hand-crafted by local artists. I feel as if all items are reasonably priced even the hand-crafted section. WBL offers historic charm in general, but so does this shop. Located just a touch off the main drag, there are also a few other shops inside this building as well. The setup here is calming to me and offers a nice flow. From the handmade goodies to printed tee shirts and sweatshirts to jewelry to thrifted handbags to clothes to art supplies, there is something for everyone. Offering light art classes in the back of the space on a giant table, make sure to grab a flyer when you're in next or check the website. For just a small fee, you could be the new owner of a piece of art crafted by you. In addition, shopping here is a great place to get gifts whether that's for a baby shower, birthday or holiday. Many of the items remind me of pieces and artists from the MN State Fair. Thank you, Oldies & Goodies! I'm so thankful you are in WBL and I look forward to supporting for many years.

I love a good thrift shop and reducing waste, and they had a nice little selection of clothes, well organized and for decent prices. That fell to one side of the store, and the other had to local t-shirts and makers creations that are fun to find in town. I didn't have a ton of time to explore, but they were super nice and even had a table for kids to play at while parents shopped, and I look forward to going back next time I'm in town!

The men's clothing selection was fairly average, while the women's section felt stronger with more variety. I tried to park here during the Little Canada citywide garage sales - they have a huge parking lot and it was empty before they opened - I got a good stink eye from an employee walking in and someone else came out to tell us we had to move even before we left the car - aight, should have parked in back where you wouldn't have noticed.... Anyway, after we were done saleing - we did come back to dig through this place and I loved it. Prices are extremely low and there are plenty of good things to find! I bought some things just because of the price (do I really need two pictures of chickadees in heart shaped frames? Or a toy dragon? Or a puzzle? Or a mug with vegetables on it? Of course not!) I also found some really cute booties - I would love to go back and spend more time someday!

When I tried to return them using the stubs they had specifically given to me saying that I could use them to return them, they requested a receipt. Since I did not bring my receipt, I suggested to use my debit card to find it in the system and reprint they receipt. Then, that's when I understood their business model. They began using their excuse of being a non-profit org and that they do not have that kind of advance system. They have over 3 thousand stores and are banking on you being too casual, or elderly, forgetful or with mental-health issues to sell you damaged items and then hoping that you do not check items at home or forget the receipt or simply have no time. Obviously, this means that if had successfully returned them, they are likely to put these items up for grabs again, which they may indeed do since I left the chairs there and received no refund. When I called their number, they have a spam robot offering you an unrelated opportunity and options to talk to any representative. Then I found corporate number and they are closed on a Saturday. Who in the US has the time and resources to devoted that much time to return some damaged items that were used anyway? Can you imagine how much this can ruin the day or week of some elderly person or somebody with mental health issues. Unethical company from all angles. I will now begin going to SAVERS or some for-profit company that is a little less hypocritical than Goodwill.

I will say, staff didn't seem warm and friendly (ie a smile, or offer to help), but at the same no one was directly rude. I gather if you ask for help, they'd assist. I noticed by the bed frames, a sign that said they have tools to disassemble, but you had to do it yourself, which is still helpful since some places wouldn't even offer that.

It was very disappointing to have been waiting and be the next in line and then told we can't donate. The employee who came out before close could have communicated verbally or with body language that they are not taking vehicles anymore instead left us all there hanging.

I wanted…read moreto upgrade my center stone, but because my ring has a unique two-sided tension mount, multiple other jewelers told me it was impossible without destroying the ring. Ben was the only one who found a way. He removed the original tension setting entirely to create a blank canvas, then molded and recreated a brand-new tension setting from scratch specifically designed for my new stone. He managed to do this while keeping the rest of my original ring exactly the same. The result is so seamless that it doesn't look like a modification; it looks like the ring was originally designed this way from day one. Because my ring is over 20 years old with numerous side diamonds, Ben performed a full inspection and caught several issues I hadn't noticed. He secured loose stones and corrected a faulty previous repair, fine-tuning the piece until it was objectively a brand-new ring. Ben was also a great partner in sourcing my diamond. I was very particular about the specific grading specs I wanted, which made it challenging to stay within my budget. He navigated the search and found the perfect stone. If you have a complex vision or a sentimental piece that needs expert care, go see Ben. He exceeded all my expectations.
