"They come runnin' just as fast as they can, 'cause every girl crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed man." ZZ…read moreTop One day while I was negotiating a treacherous snow barrier between the street and the sidewalk outside of Heimie's Haberdashery, a most dashingly dressed employee rushed out to save the day, escorting me over the snow pile. I guess my questionable mountaineering skills must have made him nervous! Heimie's hero was just the Sherpa guide I needed for my mini-Everest expedition. I can't thank him enough for helping, especially since he wasn't even wearing any winter gear...just his fancy shmancy suit. Heimie's snowbank conqueror was so impeccably dressed that I'm sold on purchasing a bow tie here for my six-year-old nephew very soon. He will be going on his first official chaperoned ice cream date with a young lady determined to marry him in the future, and he specifically requested a bow tie for the event. Clearly there is a lot at stake for this very serious date, so he will need a dapper tie that is sure to impress! No pressure, Heimie's, no pressure.

You can get a straight razor shave or a traditional men's fedora. With a bit of notice, they can tailor clothes or fix a torn shirt/suit. I think they even sell cigars. I spent about 30 mins looking at shirts/pants/ties (!!!), got a few recommendations, and made my purchases. Heimie's has a good selection of high quality men's clothing at reasonable prices. The staff could not possibly have been nicer. It's unlikely I'll ever need to come back but I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

Having purchased a house last year, I have needed to buy so many things including furniture, rugs,…read morelamps, tools, and random other stuff. This place has so many things for such affordable prices. Some of the items are brand new and even with the tag still on and some are more antique used items. The stock of what is available there is so random and can very depending on what they receive but they generally offer a selection of couches, tables, chairs, rugs, bookshelf's, and appliances. However, the best deal there are the lightbulbs. 4 bulbs for 99 ¢. Unbeatable.

There's a good variety of used and new items, along with various categories of goods.... big and small. Pricing varies as well, but you can bet your paying less than retail price. Some of the basics: sofas, artwork, rugs, paint, bedframes, lightbulbs, patio furniture, Some of the interesting: church pew, chandeliers, fancy stoves, building material (flooring, fixtures, cabinets) Some of the little things: command strips, paper towel holder, bath mat, frames There's so much, and you never know what you'll find during your visit so check it out. I will say, staff didn't seem warm and friendly (ie a smile, or offer to help), but at the same no one was directly rude. I gather if you ask for help, they'd assist. I noticed by the bed frames, a sign that said they have tools to disassemble, but you had to do it yourself, which is still helpful since some places wouldn't even offer that.

This mirror caught my eye...sorry about things around it, just had ceiling painted. It's newer and in perfect shape.
