Sadly, this is one of the Last, Last Calls still remaining in the whole US. They started closing down a lot of these a few years back and this is one of the few left. Luckily in TX, this location along with the one in San Marcos remains. My wife LOVES this store and anytime we are able to visit a Last Call me make a habit of dropping in. If you are not familiar with Last Call, it is the outlet extension of the high end department store Neiman Marcus. Most of the stuff at these outlets end up truly being junk, but there is a limited supply of stuff that is brought over directly from Neiman Marcus. Usually, these items are not as heavily discounted, but we have had a lot of luck at this particular location, finding, high end purses and shoes such as Ferragamo, Gucci, and Chloe for more than 50% off. It is hit or miss as these items usually go rather quickly. We make it up to this Dallas location about once a year and lately we have been lucky enough to find at least a few items each trip. read more

If I lived in Dallas I'd be living in this store! It takes indomitable energy, patience, strength and comfy shoes to tackle this place. They have it all! Pricey couture ball gowns, designer jeans, furniture and accessories and a lot of hidden gems. This isn't stuff designed and manufactured to be sold in outlet stores... labels like Valentino, Chanel, etc and they've always carried great shoes in larger sizes too. I love coming to this store! You have to go thru a lot of stuff to find that one gem. I have found some very high end unique dresses here for a fraction of its retail price! I am talking about $1000 dresses for $150-$200! Selection of high end designer shoes is also great if you go right after they get their new shipment (leftovers) from NM. I have purchased a few pairs of Gianvito Rossi and Aquazzura heels here, again for a fraction of the retail price. I don't have children and my weekends are usually open for shopping so I can easily spend a couple of hours doing retail therapy here. I love this place so please keep this store open! read more

You can't trust their ads. We received an email around Christmas over a deal, showed it to the manager and customer service of Neiman Marcus. They said they didn't know about it so wouldn't honor it even though they agreed it came from a Neiman Marcus email and was on a Neiman Marcus website. I just Received this email again but I dont Trust they will honor it. We were working with someone at Neiman Marcus, she promised a local manager from the Grapevine store would contact me and resolve this but the store and she has been non responsive since. I gave been shopping at this location for over a decade and hopefully it stays in business!!! However, the African american cashier is the worst person I've encountered in retail in a long time. Two stories (more but these two take the cake)... one I was checking out and the cashier was wearing an item that was clearly for sale. It was a Chanel scarf (still with tags) and I asked about it thinking I might purchase... she grinned and said it wasn't fir sake it was hers. She was obviously lying so I asked her where she purchased... she grinned and said Italy... clearly I was t able to purchase it so ... way to go Neiman for such a classy employee! Next ... sane cashier! ... I went to purchase the shirt I found... it was a high end brand but it was marked way down and had a 50% off sticker.. when it didn't ring up the correct price I mentioned to her that the price was wrong. She then rudely told me NO ... this can't be right because this brand doesn't go that low. I said excuse me the prices on the tag it is the correct price. She had no choice but to give me that price but she rolled her eyes while doing it. Uhm...I rarely put a review but this time I have to even tho they went out of business and closing their stores soon. Went to this location almost every other week and and everytime will leave the store with mix feelings. I guess they only hire one lady at checkout since I always got her. No smile, no "hi", no "how'r u doing". All she acts like she having a bad day and dont want to work there. Sometimes the price on the tag will higher than what they scan, ( guess the tag price has not been updated) and they will change the price higher!!! So after reviewing Nordstrom Rack, I thought it would be fair to review all the stores of similar nature so my 2nd stop was Nieman Marcus - Last Call. Now if you've been to any of the Grapevine Mills stores i.e.) Gap or Forever 21 etc., the stores are an absolute MESS. One step into Nieman Marcus, you know the manager has a huge stick up their butt because this place is clean as a whistle and looks like the closet of an OCD freak. Now don't get me wrong, the organization of the place is awesome. The clothes are all categorized by designer first THEN by shades of color. There was a rack of with shades of brown, in perfect order. As I did my usually slow routine of browsing through the clearance racks, this lady employee rushed to the exact locations and returned shirts from the dressing room IMMEDIATELY to the correct location. No wonder this place is in such good organization, someone is definitely cracking the whip in this store. Bad for employees. AWESOME for customers. The shoe dept. is much smaller than Nordstrom Rack, but the deals were awesome today. Almost every was an additional 30% off lowest ticketed price. To reference my last review of Nordstrom Rack, the Rock and Republic Jeans here were $120-$160 (not including today's discount.) The men's dept makes up about 1/4 of the store, 1/2 of the store is women's dept, and 1/4 miscellanous items, and they are all very well kept-up. The only downside is that when you shop here, it can be picked clean due to the ease of looking through the items, so keep that in mind. Definitely a place you should stop by every time you visit Grapevine Mills if you're a thrill seeking bargain shopper like myself! read more

Even better is when they are having a sale on everything, and I get a normally priced $600 dress for a mere $100. This place is a shopaholic's heaven, especially when bargain hunting (I use this term in a relative sense, seeing that a "bargain" on Prada or Marc Jacobs may not be much of a bargain in non-designer standards)! Customer service usually feels like a skeleton crew while shopping here, so don't be surprised if nobody asks to help you or start a room for you. This happens about 50% of the time. Most associates are courteous, although there have been exceptions. Personally, I'm there to get down to business, and if nobody is around to assist me, I generally find a way to assist myself! I'm also so, so, so happy that they got rid of that archaic, "check or Neiman's credit card only!" That was such a pain, but they finally got with the program on that and act like most other retailers, accepting manor credit cards (I'm not sure about checks anymore). This, my friends, lies my guiltiest of guilty pleasures. My only defense is occasional weakness due to living, literally, across the street from the Mills Mall! read more

Shopping for designer duds can be a full time job. Thankfully, the husband and I stumbled upon this Last Call NM on our way back to OKC. I was having a lot of trouble looking for a wedding dress so my fiance (at the time) urged me to take a gander at the dresses while he wander off to the men's area. As I leafed through the rack, I came across a cream colored chiffon piece. I pulled it out and took a look at the bodice which surprised me. It was super heavy with crystals and pearls in an eye pleasing design. I pulled out the price tag and was shocked. It was Marchesa! Double take for the price.... Original cost was close to $5k, but it was discounted all the way down to $750. Holy bananas! Naturally, I bought the dress. I mean, who wouldn't?! I'm sure this was a fluke, but man. Talk about being at the right place at the right time. Overall though, the shopping area was a tad on the messy side. I did pick through a couple racks and rehung clothes- quite a few were on the floor. I've learned to accept this when shopping at these type of stores though. I just moved to Texas with my husband, and I knew I'd found my home away from home when I made it to NMLC. This store is well-organized and so much easier to shop than Nordstrom Rack. I love that you get an additional 5% off your purchases when you use your Neimans card. And they almost always have some sort of promotion going on! And their semi-annual designer shoe and handbag event is ah-mazing!! The shoe selection is ridic and totally worth the frenzy. Beware the handbag department. I absolutely adore shopping here. If you hit it on the right day, the right sale, you an walk away with some real steals. Today I spent a about an hour and came out with a $360 handbag for $32, a $240 Samsonite attache for $37, a $180 ipod/phone/gadget charging station for $13 and set of the cutest cereal bowls wth bunnies and veggies on it for $12. Personally I love going to last call. The chain is a great place to get designers items at a good price. Normally I go to the Preston rd. location. This was the first time I had come to this location and was really excited as I'm told they have a bigger selection. When I entered the store, went to the back of the store where men's clothes were. Not a single person acknowledged me.. I saw a shirt that I was interested in buying but no one was around to help me. I did manage to find a couple of people but they were so rude to me I just decided to put the shirt back and leave. They do have a great selection, unfortunately it's followed with a lot of attitude. REALLY great deals. I am only a short forty five minutes or so away from this place, which is a blessing and a curse. My mom and I will probably be back next weekend. I bought this lime green dress that was originally $125, then it was marked down to $65, and it was on a 30% off rack, so it was $32.50, which I think is amazing. It's a decently sized store but not large enough to get lost in or not have enough time to look around the whole store in one afternoon. Oh but I must advise you: if you are expecting Neiman Marcus customer service, you will be disappointed. Sure, Grapevine Mills mall isn't the best mall around town. BUT it has a Last Call. Thank goodness! If you're looking for designer jeans, shoes, dresses, purses, sunglasses, etc...this is the place for you. I've found great deals on Seven jeans, Juicy sweatsuits, Betsy Johnson and Alice+Olivia party dresses, Marc Jacobs tops and so much more at great prices. The shoe selection isn't the greatest, and doesn't change much. BUT their dress selection is their saving grace. If you can't find a dress here....you're crazy! And don't forget to check out their clearance racks....if you dig you'll find tons of hidden gems! My favorite Last Call location, and lucky for me it's the closest one to my home as well. There are always great items, usually a large selection direct from Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman. Many times I've even found discounted items that were still "new arrivals" in the parent store. Staff is always very friendly and helpful as well. I don't normally shop at outlet stores but have found some great deals lately. I went here to browse and ended up buying a pair of Magnanni shoes and two belts. I have a few pairs of the shoes and finding the right belt to match them is an issue luckily they had one. I bought a size 38 which is a little but bigger than I normally get. Sadly I did not try it on as sizing should be a universal system. That night when I went to go out the belt did not fit, I laid it next to my regular belt and it was shorter. So I grabbed a measuring tape and it came out to just over 34". When I went to return it today I had taken a picture of the receipt and had an emailed copy. The lady was extremely rude and kept demanding I produce the paper copy which I did not have. Welcome to the present where digital works just as well. She argued with me on if I bought it there and I handed her my apple credit card which she thought was fake. Finally she looked it up and processed the return. It's crazy that people like this are allowed to do customer service or represent a company. She has no business acting this way nor trying to refuse a return for a defective product when I obviously had a valid receipt. read more

II purchased a pair of Lagos earrings from the last call store in Katy, Texas. The earrings are too heavy on my ears. I live in FW so I took them back to the Grapevine Mills store to exchange them. There was no manager on duty and I was told all jewelry is now a final sale. Nowhere does it say this anywhere in their store. I was given their phone number and told to call on Monday and talk to the manager Grace Moore. I called and only get a recording giving their hours of operation and there is no option to talk to a person. I have called several times and still just get the recording. I would just drive over there but it is almost a hour drive and I need to know when the manager will be there and need to know if she will honor a exchange. I have called the 800 customer service number and was told there is nothing they can do to help me. This is terrible customer service. Neiman outlet has never been like this before. High Priced Designer Wear at Really Good Prices Neiman Markups, I mean Neiman Marcus is always known as being very expensive and having the best designers and labels. Their merchandise serves the upper class of America, and if you can afford $900 for a purse then stay away from Last Call, just go to the regular store! That said however, Last Call provides regularly 40-60% off designer styles, bags, clothes, shoes, and even furniture. Last Call has great styles at good prices... (Caveat, it is still expensive, just not crazy expensive) That $900 bag, will cost you around $260... so pretty good deal i think, unless you don't need a $260 bag. They even offer furniture and tableware at the Horchow portion of the store. There is a men's section that is much smaller than the women's area, but for women they have everything. Shoes galore, bags, dresses, pants, outfits, glasses and more... for men there is a good selection of pants, a small selection of shoes, a nice grouping of shirts and suits. Overall if you want a deal on very expensive merchandise this is your store. read more
