Parking is very slim pickings being in the Promenade so if you're in a rush on the weekend, order ahead online. I absolutely love this place! It's a small location but clean and welcoming. I always go for the açai bowls they make it right there and it's super fresh and delicious this time around. I tried their orange crush smoothie. It was absolutely delicious. You can taste the freshness can't wait to try other items on the menu. We ordered the vampire bowl which is special for Halloween and it tasted great! It's almost the same as their dragon fruit bowl, but it includes their strawberry jam and blueberries. We also substituted the blended pineapple for blueberries. The staff was very helpful and patient when taking our order. They even explained some of these differences. We also sampled some of their vegan ice creams! The strawberry ice cream won by a landslide. The only reason I'm not giving them a 5 star review is because we paid extra for the cocoa nibs and they forgot to add those as a topping. Cocoa nibs are one of my favorite parts of a pitaya bowl so I was pretty disappointed on my way home that the bowl didn't have cocoa nibs. The ambience is also very clean and fresh. This is my second time in the past week and a half that I've gone to Nektar, and their advertised prices in their own app were not honored. A week and a half ago, I had an offer for a $3 small smoothie in their app. It wouldn't work when the cashier tried scanning it. Tonight, I went there for their $5 Friday smoothies. I received an email about it, and there was an offer with the barcode in my app. Again, the discount wouldn't work on my small smoothie when the cashier scanned my barcode. I only was ordering a small PB&J smoothie - nothing custom, or off menu. Both times I walked out. I won't be back. My order: fusion blend drink and dragon fruit bowl. The fusion blend was a good alternative to get if you want something thicker than juice. It's high in fiber to suppress appetite. The one I got was Slender Greens. It consisted of spinach, kale,cucumber, pineapple, mango, chia seeds, and cocount water. It was prefect in taste and a good choice. Dragon fruit bowl was topped with strawberries, banana, cocount flakes, hempseed granola etc. Next time I'm going to ask without the agave nectar drizzle, it was a bit sweet for me. The fusion blend was totally fulfilling and I tried only two bites of the fruit bowl to store it for lunch time. I chose the Superfood bowl because of the calorie count (470 cal) and I liked that they blended the acai with kale and spinach and bananas and strawberries. Most of all I love GOJI berries and those were atop the bowl along with a crunchy superfood, chai seeds blueberries, bananas, green apple and strawberries. Each bowl is made to order and I got to watch mine being made! The bowl was 12 dollars (i think it may have been the most expensive bowl they have) but that was fine because I am eating healthy! I'm a UPS Driver I stop into the coconut creek location daily for lunch, on Friday 3/8/2024 employee Nicole went above and beyond as a serving employee, there were literally 15 customers in a 15 minute period that came into the store including online orders and Nicole handled each customer with professionalism. The girl who took our order was very nice, and assured us there is gluten free granola that would be safe for my sister who has celiac disease and strict gluten free. It was not. She was very sick after eating it. Additionally, the kitchen floor had food scraps everywhere. The wait time after the order was taken was greater than 20 minutes. There seemed to be an issue with the kitchen appliances, and there was confusion regarding which order was for which customer. Overall, not a pleasant experience. Juices and smoothies for $6.75 and Açai bowls for $8.75, with only the RIGHT ingredients inside and not a bunch of other sweet filler junk (I'm talking to all the other Açai places who have chocolate chips and m&ms as toppings!!). If you sign up on their app, you get a free 16oz juice or smoothie. Then from there, you can continue to rack up points each time you buy. I've been coming to this spot for over a year now as my daughter has guitar and singing lessons right there at the guitar center just a few doors down. I've always held Nectar in a very positive light. Staff is always courteous, food and drinks are always delicious. I always get the Toxin Flush while my daughter gets her usual Dragon Bowl. So it's a shame that it took a bad experience such as the one I had last night to prompt me to write a review but it is what it is. 1st, I ordered a medium and they gave me a large and never noticed I was charged for the large which I was. The kicker is that they didn't even fill up the cup like they usually do. They left a little more than an inch of air gap. It's usually filled to the lid. 2nd, my daughters Dragon Bowl was filled to about half the amount it usually is. When I asked the server if this is a new policy, she said it's always been like this and that maybe they were over filling in the past. C'mon Nectar you guys have to do better. Your products aren't cheap. So don't be cheap with your customers. If this is the way we're going to be treated going forward, I certainly won't be back again. read more
