When I went to order, the employee assisting me said, "Ma'am, I can't hear you, you have to speak louder." While I understand it might have been genuinely hard to hear me, it was her tone and overall demeanor that really missed the mark. Instead of being understanding, she made me feel like an inconvenience and a hindrance just for being there. Exceptional customer service means treating people with kindness, especially when you don't know what kind of day they've had. I Love The Nékter Bar but I hate this location because they are always out of ingredients or cashew protein poppers. When I go to other locations, like near Stonebriar Mall, they are always stocked. I understand running low on products once or twice but this is consistently the same with this location. Another thing to note is they go through workers quickly I have been coming to this location for a couple of years since it is close to my house but I feel like I need to go out of my way to go to another location because they can't meet my needs. I'm honestly really disappointed with the experience my daughter and I had at Nectar Juice Bar in Frisco today around 5:15 PM. We ordered about $30 worth of food, and after placing our order we waited nearly 20 minutes with no update. During that time, I noticed our food had actually been sitting there melting while we continued waiting. Two young employees were working. One was on her cell phone chatting with a friend, and both of them were eating and hanging out with friends while customers were waiting. When I finally stood up to look around for our order, it was clear the food had just been sitting there. When I addressed it, the response I got was simply that they were "busy with orders." I've worked in hospitality for 16 years, and being busy does not excuse ignoring customers, being on your phone, or letting food sit there melting while people wait. What made it worse was that when my daughter and I decided to leave, the employees laughed as we walked out the door, which was incredibly unprofessional and honestly just disrespectful. There was no supervisor on duty, and when I asked for contact information for a manager, they didn't have any. That alone is concerning. I understand that everyone has off days, but this level of lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service is unacceptable -- especially for food that isn't cheap. I really hope management sees this and addresses it, because this experience definitely didn't reflect the kind of service customers should expect. read more

Was super excited to get an acai bowl here today...had been craving one ever since we got back from Colorado. $13 for this low quality bowl is a bit much. I didn't take the lid off to eat until after I had already driven off or else I would have asked the girl at the counter to make a new one for me. Over $8 for a small, but I was like ok, it's fresh pressed! Instead the worker poured it out of a jug. I was appalled but too embarrassed to ask for a refund. Unfortunately it costs an arm and a leg, i think 2 bowls is like 30$ or around that! it's just so expensive i rather go and get a green juice from HEB. when i want to get an açaí bowl then i always go here because i do think the food is good quality! the service is average never great but not bad. i also find that it takes a solid 10 minutes to get a bowl if you didn't order ahead and even if you did you should order 20 minutes before you want one . the location is great and it's in the middle of frisco , small shop but cute! Zero expectations walking in and I was thoroughly pleased. I was in the need of some freshness and tried the green juice. Definitely fresh and hubby got a smoothie. I did convert to the smoothie from there on out. My favorite is the tropical cooler. It's mostly a green smoothie and for the most part has been made pretty consistently every time I've ordered it except one time. It was a little heavy on the banana side, even though I don't even think bananas are in it... my husband has tried all of the other flavors, which are all pretty tasty. However, I stick to the tropical cooler because there's no agave nectar. I believe it's sweetened with coconut water. I joined their loyalty program and redeemed a smoothie or two. I haven't tried any of the other items on the menu. I stick with the smoothies. It's a but pricey but at least everything is fresh. I also enjoy ordering from the app and having it ready for pick up. Only complaint is, a couple of times my husband went in to order for us and didn't have the app to scan so they gave us the receipts. I forgot about them and tried to scan the barcode to add them to my loyalty reward points and it said it was too late. I don't think there should be an expiration if that's the case. read more

The two ladies working behind the counter are sweethearts. I have been there twice and they're always so effervescent, energetic, and earnest. The Dragon Fruit bowl is phenomenal as the base is perfectly smooth, loaded with fruits, and not too sweet. I have also tried the Pink Flamingo and Tropical Cooler smoothies. Both were exceptional and I can't wait to try more deliciousness from Nekter. I was torn between 4 and 5 stars due to the price tag on their items, but I guess it's understandable given the supply chain restraints and some of the exotic fruits they offer. P. S. If you enjoy peanut butter A LOT, you will love their PB items. I tried a sip of the PB Mocha and it wasn't for me since I don't care for peanut butter at all. Although I wouldn't necessarily recommend this location, Netkar in Frisco does offer a pretty good 16 oz smoothie for around $10. The ingredients are fresh and the rewards and discounts through their app are a nice touch. However, the venue was dirty even with no customers and I witnessed a worker with brown hair, who appeared to be new, scratch her head with gloves on before proceeding to juice apples. Not the most sanitary practice. Overall, I probably won't return to this specific location but the smoothie was decent. read more
