You may want to adjust -maybe the grind was too coarse, the brew time was too short, or the coffee-to-water ratio was off. A few adjustments there could make a big difference. The ambiance was amazing with extremely comfortable couches and friendly patrons. The baristas were very warm. And the coffee was unreal. I ordered an iced brown sugar caramel latte and just fell in love with it. It was creamy, the perfect sweetness, delicious, and so enjoyable. I sat on the couches and read a book - it was the perfect weekend morning. Though it's a bit of a drive, I will certainly be back!

She finished the drink and slid it over with no lid. She said they don't use lids because people might want to add things to their drink, but there was nothing available for customers to add The positives were my drink was good, and the shop is clean with nice merch, but don't expect friendly, helpful service or to feel like your dollar is wanted.

It's a really cute 2-floor coffee shop and the service is friendly and quick. It provides the perfect space to meet someone over coffee, or to work from the shop. The coffee here has a signature sweet cream, which is delicious, however it disagreed with my stomach both times I had it. The first time I got and iced latte with their regular milk (I'm assuming whole milk). It tore my stomach up!!! The second time I went, I got the same latte but opted for Almond milk instead. Why did it also mess my stomach up?!! It's so upsetting to me, because I love the vibe of this place and the way that the coffee tastes, but unfortunately, my lactose intolerance hates Summer Moon. I don't have this problem with Starbucks, 151, Dutch Bros, or Paris Baguette. It's so disapointing, because I'm a sweet cream iced latte kind of girl, but I think it's a wrap for me.

There's a nice seating area - you can usually find a spot to sit unless it's peak times on the weekend. They have a selection of pastries from local spots and some toast/sandwich offerings. I use their overtone beans at home (they also offer a cup of coffee with each purchase of a bag of beans), but when I'm in the shop I love getting a cortado, cold brew with cold foam, or lattes. They offer fun seasonal drinks - some of my recent favorites were blackberry rhubarb latte, pumpkin cream cold brew, & cherry mocha! You can also follow their instagram for occasional super-limited drinks like a "cup of dirt" dessert inspired cold brew they did for Halloween weekend. I came in twice since the new owners and regret it badly. First time I noticed the products are way cheaper and worse and the second time I set down my laptop and was setting it up to get to work before I grabbed my coffee and the owner told me that I can't be here unless I buy something. Something that's never been a problem before. The matcha is like the cheapest and lowest possible quality they can server compared to their old stuff. Their baked goods are probably from target or something and they used to be homemade. You can tell that the new owners just want cut costs and squeeze every little bit of profit from the business as possible. When I asked how the new owners were the person at the register made a visibly indifferent face when they were describing them. So I guess it's safe to assume the new owners are also putting the workers through it as well. Summary: New owners are greedy and suck, traded quality and previous store culture for their pockets.
