This location has terrible customer service. The workers act like customers are an inconvenience to them. I hadn't been to Nekter in a while, but was in the mood for a smoothie. I ordered a mango delight. It was not busy with just one customer ahead of me and one came shortly after. The girl took my order then proceeded to go in the back. All the customers got their drinks while I did not. Another worker asked if I needed help and I said I ordered and never got my drink. She then called the girl from the back who took my order to make my drink. She rolled her eyes and made my drink. Absolutely flavorless and didn't fill up my cup there was drink left in the blender. I placed my order online, knowing that my husband would go pick it up for me. After finding out that he couldn't leave his location for 25 minutes, I tried calling the store (right after I placed the order) to ask them not to put ice in my drink! First time?... Recording says we can't take your call now and hangs up. Second time?... Someone picked up the receiver and hung it back up. Third time?... I got that recording again and then it hung up on me. When my husband got there, he asked how much ice was put in my drink, and neither one of the TWO representatives knew who made the drink. Really?! 1st of all - I used to own a Juice Café and you fill the juices to the brim. It's not hard to know when you've hit the ounces requested while juicing! 2nd - at least have your answering machine allow messages during business hours. The greeting can say that you're probably with a customer, but that you'll get to their message/request as soon as you're able. Once you've gotten that message, text to customer letting them know. I had a coworker pick up an order from this location, when she called she asked if they still make the pink tropical bowl, the girl Denise, said they did and it would be ready when she got there. She didn't check the order when she picked it up. When she arrived at work we discovered there was spinach and kale in the bowl, what is tropical about that nastiness? When my coworker called back to the store to see about returning for an exchange, Denise told her she ordered it wrong. SERIOUSLY??? In what universe is that an acceptable form of customer service? The order was wrong and when the store was asked for a replacement the employee not only gave attitude but accused the customer of ordering it incorrectly. Even if the word pink wasn't used the word tropical was for sure. Let's say for arguments sake that it was ordered incorrectly (it wasn't) but if a customer isn't happy with their order and only wanted to drive back and exchange it for the correct order you would assume the company would want to provide decent customer service to their customers, and exchange it. "Providing fresh happiness" not today Nektar. You think when paying over 9.00 for a açaí bowl you would at least get what you wanted. read more

I'm a huge fan of natural ingredients, so Nekter is obviously a fit for me. I've gone to other companies for their natural treats, and saw the free Skoop this Friday from 6-9pm and thought now was a good time to try it as any. I think this is a fantastic idea to introduce new products and get people trying your stuff. I ordered the chocolate, but was fortunate to have a little taste of the vanilla. I find the chocolate to be richer and creamier (funny, it's also lower in calories). I usually like both chocolate and vanilla equally. Toppings were delicious, though a little sparse when it comes to fruit. I can say for the serving and topping size, the price these will be selling at is too high. I've had similar natural offerings for MUCH larger portions for a couple dollars more. My recommendation would be to get the price point down to $3 for the plain soft serve and another $1 for the toppings. I can tell you I would be there every Friday for a weekly treat if the total cost was $4 instead of $5.25 (which me visiting more frequently will increase profitability than just visiting seldom). At a price point of $5.25 I could see myself visiting much less frequently and continuing to go to the competitors. For $5.25 I would expect 100% organic ingredients. I would also love to see a soft serve flavor in acai, which would work wonderful for your acai bowls. It is so much more delicious in soft serve - especially for breakfast on hot Arizona mornings! Use the app, you can get a free juice after 10 purchases and also you can add free items to your juice when you place your order on the phone. I'm pretty busy so I order my juice, add my free ingredients and then walk into Nekter and no waiting, they have my juice ready to go. If you refer a friend to use their app, they kick you back $3. Great place to get fresh juice to Detox or Unwind. Don't let the name "Detox Flush" fool you, it's so delicious and addicting. When I feel like flooding my cells with nutrients, I come here and get my fix. It's so great for your skin and well-being to have their tasty juices. I also give in to the occasional Açaí or Pirate Bowl. Impeccably Clean, bright atmosphere. The only downside is the VERY loud music that can hurt your ears. They always have it blasting to drown out the noise from the Blenders, but it just makes it even louder that way. The staff was great too, helpful to us when we were deciding what to order. I had never had a acai bowl from Nektar, so j got one of those! I can't remember which one, but I paid extra to have kale and spinach added to it, and I'm glad I did. My sister got the same one as me without greens. We both loved our acai bowls and ate the whole thing pretty quickly! My mom got some kind of chocolate carob smoothie, and we all thought it would be awesome but I did not like it. To me and my sister it just kind of tasted like almond butter in liquid form. My mom said it tasted better as she got used to it though! The smoothies here aren't bad, but they just aren't good either. I make better ones at home. For some reason their smoothies are very icy without much taste at all. Maybe not enough ripe banana? I don't know, but no matter what we do when we go there the smoothies are tasteless. I will say the açaí bowls are good, but sometimes we just want a smoothie.
