Chicago Burbs just got a DB, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll have one in the city soon! My go-to order is an iced annihilator half sweet. It's so creamy and not too sweet! The macadamia nut adds a delicious nutty flavor that compliments the coffee so nicely. However, one of my friends ordered a frozen mocha and it was incredible, especially on a hot day. I recently visited this location and ordered two hot chocolate peppermint coffees with a granola bar and a blueberry muffin. The coffee was hot and flavorful without an overload of sweetness. We stopped by this Dutch Bros the other day and visited the drive thru... We had gone for a family hike and everyone in the family needed a pick-me-up of sorts. My husband had an iced americano, I had an iced green tea (with two pumps of peach), the kids had frozen blue raspberry lemonade, and we also purchased a couple of funfetti cookies. However, they have locations all over the Phoenix area, and I try to stop by when I can. They have an extensive menu, and rotating specialty drinks, so there are always new drinks to try. The modern design on the inside is filled with stainless steel and their Dutch blue windmills. TV monitors everywhere showing off their menu and specials, or even ESPN. They have low tables, high tops, bar seating, and a seating area outside with a fire pit in the middle. Service is 100% what you would expect from a Dutch. Everyone was super nice and personable, and defined the Dutch Creed, especially the last bit about being "too happy to permit the presence of trouble". If you have ever been to the West Valley Thunderbird location, then you know the clientele. I cannot believe how slowly the people at this stand operate. I've been going to dutch for ten years now, usually in the Oregon and Washington area, but while visiting family in Scottsdale I took a trip to this stand. I can't help but think that if this stand was located closer to HQ they would have some serious issues because of how poorly this stand is run. There were five cars ahead of me and it took thirty minutes to get through the line, while seven people were working in the stand.
